I'm shocked, bytes cost about $ 600. This is a great success for the project with a free distribution.

byteball will be top10 in next 6 months!

I second this with a larger font!

CoinMarketCap uses the available supply to evaluate the market capitalization but history of Ripple showed that large injections of coins don't affect the price much. So it makes sense to assume that current market cap is 620M USD which is #11, just a little step left...

Those newly added features are amazingly awesome. I just upgraded my wallet to latest release and looked at the newly available options. I didn't see these types of stuff so far. Developers behind the project has planned everything according to futures needs. It is going to be in top coins over the next few months. I am excited to receive my first ever bytes in next distribution.

Please, support byteball, request poloniex to add this great coin!
From poloniex coin request rules: "We like to see evidence of the developers' dedication to the project, community interest, and above all else, innovation. If you feel your coin is truly innovative, we want to hear about it."
That is the exact description of byteball, so submit your request here:
https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

In case you are not familiar with byteball, here are list of possible answers:
What is the name of the coin? => Byteball
What is the coin's symbol? => GBYTE
Please link to the announcement page. => https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/obyte-totally-new-consensus-algorithm-private-untraceable-payments-1608859
If the coin has a website, please link it here.  => https://byteball.org/
If the coin has a block explorer, please link it here. => https://explorer.byteball.org/
Please try to write your own explanation!
Please explain why you would like to see this coin added to the exchange. => "The developer is very active, community is growing, it is already trading on several exchanges like Bittrex, Cryptox, Cryptopia, Changelly, and Bitsquare."
If this coin has any significant innovations over other coins, please elaborate on them here. => "Byteball is great coin with unique method of storing and ordering data as directed acyclic graph. It has witnesses system to prevent double-spending, has ability to issue assets (including private ones), chatbots which can easily implement almost any functionality. It's distribution system is also unique and fair. Please check this coin, it worth it!"

The more exchanges have the coin listed - the more people know about it and can participate in development, the better the infrastructure for byteball will be, the more it will cost, so spend your 3 minutes and send this request to Poloniex!

It could be very fun if GBYTE get higher price than BTC before Polo lists it, all these guys who missed it would rage so much Grin

Even if you link 10K bitcoin you are not going to get hell of a lot of Bytes according to my calculations but yes free money is always good, what ever it is. Remember one gigabyte = 1,000,000,000 bytes. I think the Devs should give all the early adopters free 1 or 2 GBytes up to say 8000 - 10000 users. That way people will be more enthusiastic and count on their fortune for greater good later. Otherwise who has less their fortune is growing very very slow!!

i have two question, when there will be the next airdrop? and can i use the same address for every airdrop or i need every time a new one with new bitcoin held there in that address?

on June 9, here is counterdown http://whatis.wikidot.com/get-gbyte and yes, u can use the same address for every airdrop

so i get free money every time? this is insane, how can investors handle that, whyis the price growing if everyone cna just re-use the same address? think about those holding 10k bitcoin, they can claim a very big amount for free and dump on the market at no cost

If you have 10k bitcoin to link, your priority is not to dump...you're already rich.
This is a coin for rich people, and rich people usually are not in rush to dump.

think about it....

I mean, if you already own 10 house, and you get another one for free, you will not going to sell the ones you get free to make profit. yu just have 1 more free house.

39   Byteball Byteball   $7,186,180   $71.86   100,000 GBYTE *   $111,266   25.55%

1GB is too expensive, maybe change the unit to MB, then 1MB=0.0071$

if we do the change, it will be good for byteball to get more users.

so 80$ this week

check my post earlier..
 Cheesy

Thanks but I am trying to do the actual calculations. So I think I figure it out:
790,716,130,479,960 (Total bytes you have)/1,000,000,000 * 593.72 (Market Rate of 1 GB of Byteball now) = 469463980.9885619.
So for 1 Million you get 0.001 GB * 593.72 = 0.59372 cents.
Smiley Correct me if I am wrong guys. Thanks

How you know the price of Bytes you have? Suppose you have a million Bytes, how much that will be worth? Is there an automated way to know it? That would be great if we have. Thanks

I asked this on slack but would like to ask again here:

Tony, how do you see whales and exchanges linking wallets to get free Gbytes?
Many greedy xchange operators will use Gbyte to just make more money by linking wallets of own exhanges.

What about whales? Last give away we seen nearly 200k btc linked. i seen myself few position 100btc + like one after another. Do you have mechanism to recognise wallets of exchange? If so are you still allowing to receive free bytes?

We are filtering the exchange addresses when their customers (not the exchanges themselves) try to link them by doing a withdrawal.  This is considered cheating.

I am not aware of any exchanges that had covertly linked their BTC wallets (Cryptox linked openly, and distributed among its users).  If you find one, please let its customers know.

No issues with whales, the rules are the same for everybody irrespective of wealth.

What about LISK team that said they have more byteball than lisk in their portfolio?
Did you allowed those milionare icos to link their funds on first distribution on december 25 2016?

I think it was a very big mistake.

Improved Polish translation didn't make it from Crowdin into the release. Any dope why?

The language codes were changed to the standard ones (e.g. from pl to pl_PL), please choose Polish in your wallet's language settings again and you will see the new translations.

Worked like a charm. Thanks.
