Cricket is only the place for the players to perform. We cannot make players in cricket matches because in International team we need good planner, good hard hitters, good pressure handlers, good bowlers like Muhammad Amir when he came in International team. We need good partnership builders and strong mindset players but now our team lack in everything. No single player is available in the team ,we saw their performance in T20 World Cup where they could not chase only 120 runs . Pakistani team should sink in water due to disrespect. But they are living their life happy and we won the World Cup 15 years ago and now we have no strong team . Players have no conversation with each other and that is also big cause of failure.
Basically I think the main reason is the references. Means the selection committee always give the chance to those players who have strong references. Or we can say they give chance who gave money to the selection committee. Means directly or indirectly corruption is interfering. And selection committee is not giving the chance to those who has the natural talents.
And one is the most important thing which effect on our national team is match fixing. Many of our players are involved in it. Well if Pakistani team really want to remain in the top teams so PCB should resolve these issues.
If Pakistan cricket did not have any kind of problems with the match-fixing, this could certainly be a very different story for Pakistan cricket. So many players have been caught and many cricketer have actually lost their careers because of this.
Corruption is obviously everywhere. But for some reason, it is actually very much visible in Pakistan. The reputation of Pakistan is obviously not good at all. But I think things have changed a lot. Right now the players that the Pakistan team has, are obviously of a different mindset. I don't think it is going to be a big problem for Pakistan to actually find really good players who are interested in cricket. Kids who can play really well, should also not be that hard to find in Pakistan. But even though match-fixing is not a thing anymore, corruption is definitely still very prominent.
