But then it becomes more risky to bet on a T20 game as even the stronger team has chances of losing and you can never be confident before the start of the match that you bet on a strong team and you will surely win. Maybe T20 matches are the ones where we can go with the teams whose odds are higher.

Would Pakistan win this one or we will see a batting collapse ? Wink

Well.. it is going to be the future of cricket. People no longer have 8-9 hours to watch an ODI match. Also, nowadays most of the revenue for the cricket boards is being generated from various T20 leagues, such as IPL and BBL. Also I don't agree that the importance of bowlers is reduced in T20. Players such as Rashid Khan and Sandeep Lamichhane were discovered from T20 leagues.

Pakistan is going to win this match, but the odds for Sri Lanka were really good. It was worth taking the risk, as Sri Lanka was given odds ranging from 5.60 to 6.00 by various sites. Anyway, today the Sri Lankan supporters were unlucky and might have lost money betting on their team. The T20 series is going to be a bit more competitive and it will be interesting to see whether they will stick with similar odds for SL for that series also.

If you would place a bet before the match to start then you would have a good chance to cash out some money since the odd for Sri Lanka was down when hey scored 290+ runs.

Yeah, Pakistan should win this, but Some players from the Sri Lankan team gave some promising performance in the last game, which is good and if the Odds are juicy then one might think about taking a risk.

There is not much of a difference between predictions and possible scenarios of who can win the next game.
I will stick to my point of view and will go in the favor on Pakistan for the tomorrow match. One more thing to consider is that Srilankan team consists of mostly new players and they will not be able to handle the pressure. This only will favor the home team.
Seeing the previous match performance, apart from Sh. Jayasuriya and Dasun Shanaka the rest of the Srilankan team was booked under 50 only. Don't expect them to do any different in the next game.

As i told before Pakistan will surely win today. They have managed to make 100+ runs with the loss of no wickets. Srilanka did not send their A team and when you send your B team to play against an International side then you should forget about winning.

Those who bet on Srilanka for today's match maybe very happy until the first half as they have thought Pakistan will never be able to chase 298. But now they would be worried.

Honestly speaking, I was not expecting much from this Sri Lankan ("B") team :-P

Pakistan is cruising quite comfortably to a victory. They are comfortably placed at 91/0 after 14 overs. The required run rate is less than 6 runs per over, and they are going to get to the target quite easily. Sri Lanka can take some positives from this match, but in the end a loss is a loss. They are not doing themselves any good by performing poorly on a continuous basis.

I think that now the advantage is with Pakistan. As I had posted earlier, any score less than 300 is achievable for the Pakistanis. They are playing at home (after a big interval) and the conditions suits them. On top of that, the Sri Lankan bowlers haven't yet got any chance to acclimatize with the local conditions, as they had arrived less than a week ago.

Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman are in good form, and during the 2nd ODI they were able to score 300 plus (8 runs more than what Sri Lanka scored today). But there is some weakness in the middle order. If the Lankan opening bowlers (Nuwan Pradeep/Isuru Udana) can get either Zaman or Azam early, then they'll be having a chance. Else, it is going to be cakewalk for Pakistan.

SL 297/9. Amir did well to limit the run flow on one-side while Riaz was not able to do the same. Superb batting from Shanaka, enjoyed every bit of it. I hope they win this match.

I was expecting that they will be near 280 to 290 and right now look like this is achievable as Gunathilaka is out and Aamir is on target so still this could be interesting match now shanaka is also doing good as he was good in previous match Pakistan is just going with home advantage otherwise I believe this Sri Lankan team done reasonable job in this series.

Like I said earlier, Pak failed miserably eventhough they won the 2nd ODI. If they were skillful they wouldn't have let Sri Lanka to get past 200 runs considering the earlier loss of wickets. They were just lucky to topple the Srilankan top order batsmen. That's why I suggested that it's better to bet on Sri Lanka on the 3rd ODI given the superb odds. Now the Srilankans are playing nicely, scoring at an average of 5 runs per over. Gunathilaka got past 100 and now SL is looking for a score around 270+ runs. And if SL were able to get a few earlier wickets, then the match is lost for Pakistan.
