Afghanistan not only missing Rashid Khan but also Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Rashid is recovering from back injury while Mujeeb Ur Rahman recovering from hand injury. It's been quite a while since Rashid Khan has played for Afghanistan, his last appearance for Afghanistan was on Nov 10, 2023 against South Africa.

So Ireland can only draw the series if they win the last game while Afghanistan has nothing to lose even if they gave away last game.
