I am curious that why Shamar Joseph is not included in today's ODI. Is he injured or he was not part of ODI squad? No problem faced by Australians today in winning the game. First they bowled out West Indies team for 232 run and they chased it without any hassle. Australians were playing without Cummins but didn't feel his absence as debutant Xavier Colin Bartlett bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets. There are two more games still to be played after that and West Indies need to improve there performance in upcoming matches to avoid whitewash.

West Indies team to bat first. Losing two wickets for six runs, West Indies batsman was under a lot of pressure. Keacy Carty worked hard enough to take the team forward from there. But he could not make a good partnership with him and if any batsman could have made a good partnership with him, maybe the West Indies team would have given a bigger target to Australia. Keacy Carty did a great batting with 108 balls 88 Run out. In today's match West Indies team's batting was definitely weak. West Indies team's batsmen should have batted better. Tackling such a small team like Nepal will not be a big problem for team India who already continued his winning streak from start of the tournament. Currently they are in good touch, no doubt thier top order lose quick his important wickets without adding any significant contribution but now things are in thier control and Thier captain a long with Thier middle order batter managing to build more than 100+ partnership now which will put thier team on track toward a big target like above 250 which will be fair target to defend as they have quality bowler too.

The toss was very important in today's match so Australia won the toss and decided to bowl. Australia managed to capitalize on the early bowling spell, especially as West Indies lost four wickets for 59 runs. Keacy Carty and Roston Chase made a partnership of 110 runs for the fifth wicket. Looking at the fifth wicket I thought the run would cross 250+. Roston Chase was dismissed for 59 and Keacy Carty was dismissed for 88 in the next wicket. Xavier Bartlett bowled brilliantly for Australia with a maiden over taking four wickets for just 17 runs in 9 overs. 231 run was not a fighting score for West Indies against Australia. Although Australia lost Travis Head in the first over to bat, Australia did not come under any pressure. Josh Inglis opened the batting in T20 style, scoring 65 off 43 balls. At the moment, the Australian team has collected 174 runs in 28 overs with the loss of 2 wickets. Australia now need only 58 runs to win against West Indies. As West Indies could not give Australia much of a target in this first ODI today, Australia is going to meet their target very easily.
