Anamul Haque and Tanzid Hasan have both performed well in BPL, I think it would be good to give them a chance as openers. Yes, Najmul Hossain Shanto performed well as captain yesterday, his performance is really commendable. The contribution of Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah was not less.
Bangladesh got a victory against Sri Lanka and the last time, the both team met together at T20 series it was won by Sri Lanka at Bangladesh's home ground. It was not a good deal for Bangladesh because a team came in their country and defeated to them, and Bangladesh didn't know. So, for the respect of their team, they need to win the matches of ODI series, which I think they can win be to it in a good way after seeing the result of the first match but in the next matches, the Sri Lankan team will be more proactive.
Yesterday Najmul Hossain Shanto played very well and on that win, he had made very important 122 runs and remained not out. He also used almost 20 overs (122 balls) to make this score but for runs and they had balls as it was an ODI so they can easily afford these overs because at the end they won the match in a good margin so what we needed more by a player is to play according to the situation of the match.
He is a good ODI player but better for the test as we can see in these wonderful runs, he hit just 2 sixes means only 12 runs were made by sixes out of 122. He needs to improve his boundaries then he can play T20 and ODI in a very good type, otherwise this condition is excellent for test matches. Such temperament is needed in test matches.
