Is there any purpose of this tournament (2023–2027 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2) apart from being one of the gateways to the ODI World Cup? Previously we had the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, and there were rumors that the top team from this tournament will get qualification to that league. But then the ICC decided to scrap Super League. So effectively, the World Cup League 2 has lost its significance. I think the game between Namibia and Netherlands was exciting and Netherlands won because I think they are stronger than Namibia. Aryan Dutt did really well by taking 6 wickets. Michael Levitt and Max O'Dowd worked together in batting and helped Netherlands to win. Teamwork and great playing were important in the cricket game. Well done to the Netherlands team for winning.
LOL.. the series is looking quite competitive at this point. Nepal, Namibia and Netherlands have won one match each. In the first match, Nepal was squashed by Namibia. But they came back quite strongly to defeat Netherlands (by 9 wickets) in the second match. And the cycle was completed when Namibia lost to Netherlands in the third match. Three more matches remain in this series, and all three teams look as if they are of equal strength. And this is bad news for the Netherlands, as they are being regarded as one of the strongest associate sides.

Netherlands winning toss and all out Namibia team in just 123 runa only. Netherlands team excellent bowling Aryan Dutt very impressive spell and took six important wickets 6/34. Netherlands chase down this small Target bery easily 124/3 in Just 28th over of the game. Michael Levitt helped Netherlands to chase down target by scoring a fifty but this very disappointed performance by Namibia

Netherlands are a better team than Namibia and they were part of the 50 overs World Cup last year. You can easily expect them to win against a weaker team like Namibia. In a 50 overs game a target of less than 250 is not considered a decent target. Whereas Namibia was only able to get 123 runs on the scoreboard, it is not even 150 runs and I am sure the Netherlands have a good batting side they would have eventually got 124 runs in less overs. It is a complete domination game by the dutch team as per the scoreboard is concerned.

At least on paper, Netherlands is supposed to be stronger. They are widely regarded as the strongest associate side. And they were the only associate nation to qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup (and then went on to defeat South Africa and Bangladesh during the tournament). Also, they have most of their players participating in either county cricket or other first class competitions around the world. On the other hand, Nepal is considerably weakened by the absence of Sandeep Lamichhane. They are a very young side and none of the players have first class experience.
Namibia is also a strong associate team like Netherlands. We have seen Namibia in many ICC tournament's and todays game was supposed to be between two teams of equal level but it was Netherlands who dominated. It's mainly because of Aryan Dutt heroic bowling figures (9-034-6) that Namibia team were only able to score 123 runs and you can't avoid a defeat when you have that much total to defend.

I think Netherlands is stronger than Nepal on paper because they qualified for the recently concluded 2023 ODI World Cup. Where a strong team like the West Indies failed to qualify, the Netherlands qualified for the 2023 ODI World Cup. One of the best players in the Nepal team is Sandeep Lamishane who has gained a lot of experience by playing in various franchise leagues around the world. Although he has not been associated with the team recently, all the players in his team have played well. It is not that any team will win the game of cricket if it is strong on paper, the victory of the game of cricket depends on those who play well on the field. Nepal team may have proved that they are not strong on paper but they are strong on the field.

Before the starting this match, I was thought about that Netherlands would won this match without any questions. Now I think it kinda became hard to understand what gonna happen. Their two openers both are failed to do the performance. If this continue I don't think that Netherlands will be able to cross 200run today. Can't say with guarantee yet because, Nepal's batting is still left.

In ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 match between Nepal vs Netherlands already started. Nepal won the toss and chose to bowling first. It seems they are doing good performance. Because after 12 over Netherlands only took 35 run and the also loose their two strong batsmen. Netherlands current run-rate is about only 2.91. I think it was not a good start for Netherland team.
Nepal wonderful performance in match against Netherlands and winning it by 9 wickets. Its a huge victory for Nepal team. Kushal Bhurtel from Nepal take important wickets 4/20 and all out Netherlands in just 137 runs. Anil Kumar Sah brilliant batting performance scored 57 runs unbeaten and win it by easily for his team.

You were right thinking what Nazarland is doing Netherland has lost the match. This was a low score match and Nepal team shocked Netherlands team and Netherlands all team out on 137 runs . Nepal team won the match by 8 wickets. This was bowling friendly pitch and bowlers played very well on this pitch.K. Bhurtel took 4 wickets by giving 20 runs in 7 overs and he also made a score for his team and was awarded as a player of the match. Rajbanshi also took 2 wickets by giving 32 runs in 10 overs and he performed an excellent bowling .From Netherlands batting side no one player paly well.

If cricket is not played by the local players of a country then the game of cricket is not very attractive. We are seeing more of this practice in some countries in recent times. I have mentioned earlier where I felt that the ICC may have continued such an effort as countries that did not like cricket but they became enthusiastic about cricket. I am very optimistic about some of the new teams, Nepal being one of them. Who has improved a lot in cricket in a short period of time. If they participate in the World Cup, they will gain more experience and their cricket will improve.
This is why I am supporting teams such as Nepal and Namibia. They have 100% native squad, unlike the case with the United Arab Emirates or the United States. But the root cause is the stupid eligibility criteria that was enforced by the ICC. Anyone with a visiting visa can represent any country, despite having no family connection or personal attachment. And this has seen more deserving countries struggling to win matches, while teams that are entirely comprised of foreigners are now dominating associate cricket.
I am pretty surprised that ICC did not do anything about it. About the foreign players playing in the national squad of another country. And I absolutely do not understand how that makes sense. Right now there are a lot of teams that play foreign players in the national squad. And that is the story for a lot of associate teams to be honest. I do not think us supporting a certain team is going to do anything in this matter. I think ICC will need to have taken bold steps against these things. I am actually pretty surprised that there are rules for almost everything when the game is played on the phone but on the field there are very little terms and conditions.
