2nd ODI, Bangladesh tour of New Zealand. We watched the performance of Soumya Sarkar. His performance became unbelievable. His outstanding score is 169 from 151 balls including 2 sixes and 22 fours. If his best performance the match was beaten by New Zealand's all of the top order batsmen named Will Young  (89), Rachin Ravindra (45), Henry Nicholls (95), Tom Latham (34), and Tom Blundell (24). Congratulations to the entire New Zealand team.
New Zealand won this match by 7 wickets and lead the series by 2-0. New Zealand chase down the target 296 runs in loss of 3 wickets in 46.2 overs. New Zealand batting performance is well especially Henry Nicholls who scored 95 runs in just 99 balls, unfortunately miss his well deserved century by 5 run short. will young also score well 89 runs in 94 balls and played an important role of NewZealand victory. The player of the match is Soumya Sarkar for his outstanding batting 169 runs in just 151 balls that helped Bangladesh to scored a decent total 291 runs for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh teams top orders are always failing to collect good start, it’s their common weakness for the long time. Yeah, only 2 batsman taken good runs Soumyo Sarkar 169 (151) & Musfiqur Rahim 45 (57), it was surprised to BAN team Soumyo got century after 5 years it’s a brilliant come back. Without top orders batsmans runs they will never reach 300 runs, so it’s not a fighting scored to New Zealand, they will win because they have strong batting line up.
Every New Zealand batsman is batting well, especially Will Young (89), Rachin Ravindra (45), Henry Nicholls (95), Tom Latham (22*) none of them bats badly. However, except Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim of Bangladesh, none of the remaining 9 batsmen have collected good runs from the bat. So how will Bangladesh perform well as a team? The top order batsmen in the Bangladesh squad need to be given temporary rest at times so that they can prepare themselves and perform well in the next matches.
In Bangladesh tour to New Zealand competition, today was last opportunity for Bangladesh squad to tie this competition by emerging victory because Bangladesh squad had already lost first match of competition and total four matches in this competition. Bangladesh squad lost this today second match but Bangladesh squad performance in this match was very impressive because they made a decent target and due to bowling performance they faced defeat. Every batters of New Zealand squad played very great and total they lost 3 batters only first starter batters collected high runs when they got out then next batters defend remaining target and get victory when 22 deliveries remained.

In the second one-day match of Bangladesh, despite Soumya Sarkar's extraordinary performance, Bangladesh team could not win. Bangladesh set a target of 292 runs to New Zealand but Bangladesh batsmen could not bowl very well. If Bangladesh's batsmen could have bowled well, then maybe we would have seen the victory of Bangladesh in this match today. Because New Zealand played very well. New Zealand team won by seven wickets against Bangladesh. Congratulations to the New Zealand team.

We should write with some caution. However, we did not see good performance from the Bangladeshi bowlers in this match. But it cannot be said that the batsmen also played very well. Apart from Soumyo and Mushfiq, no player could stay at the crease for long.

We have seen the condition of Bangladesh team is weak for the last few years. They perform very well on spin friendly pitches in home matches. And wins against big teams. But Bangladesh's performance on the pitch of Australia, England or New Zealand is very weak and erratic. I have noticed that winning on a pace friendly pitch is much more challenging for the Bangladesh team. Bangladesh lost most of the matches.

Soumya Sarkar is an excellent player who has talent but has repeatedly failed to show his talent.Soumya Sarkar was the auto choice of the Bangladesh coaching staff and selectors because of her different game.Soumya Sarkar's cricket playing shots are so spectacular that even the coaches and selectors had faith in her that Soumya Sarkar would play well.He proved that by scoring 169 runs in the second match against New Zealand. We would like Soumya Sarkar to keep up this run-scoring streak in every match and play well.

Bangladesh team should have given 300+ target today. The main weakness of the Bangladesh team was that 2/1 players in the squad performed well, the rest of the players performed below average. In today's match, if one more top order batsman could have batted well with Soumyo Sarker, or if Miraz had been able to bat well, then Bangladesh team could have given 320+ target very easily. The performance of every Bangladeshi player is very erratic. This is why Bangladesh's overall performance is poor despite having a lot of talented players in the squad.

While I agree with you that in 50 over format, anything above 300 runs is a good target. That does not mean that 291 runs were not defendable by the Bangladesh team. The lack of experienced and effective bowlers has been an issue with the side, and it will continue to haunt them. New Zealand were always a good batting side, and they proved today once again that they can chase runs. Two more games left in this series and I am not expecting much from the Bangladesh side.

Soumya Sarkar may gift a victory to Bangladesh today. But the interesting thing is that he hardly got any support from the other batsmen. Apart from his 169, the next top score was 45 from the no.6 batsman Mushfiqur Rahim. And it's not like the New Zealand bowlers were wayward. They bowled with tight line and length, especially Adam Milne, Jacob Duffy and William O’Rourke. Adithya Ashok, on his ODI debut did a decent job as well. Still, a Bangladesh win is not confirmed yet. The pitch looks good for batting.
Despite Soumyo Sarker's massive collection of 169, Bangladesh failed to give away the 300+ target. I do not see any improvement in Bangladesh's batting order. Soumyo played well today. But Bangladesh's top order is weak as usual. Anamul Haque 2, Shanto and Liton returned to the dressing room with 6 runs each. If these 3 experienced top order batsmen could bat well, Bangladesh could have given a target of more than 350 in today's match. I don't think 291 is enough to beat New Zealand.

In 2nd ODI New Zealand won toss and bowls first Bangladesh made 207 in 50 overs what a great inning played by Soumya Sarkar of 169 runs while O'Rourke and jecob takes 3, 3 wickets New Zealand easily chased the target 296/3 on 47th overs Henry Nicholls 95 runs and will young 89 runs help New Zealand to won this match by 7 wickets Bangladesh failed to defend this total new Zealand won the series by winning 2 matches and last match will be play on Saturday
Mostly the player of the match chose from the winner team but today we saw that the player of the match is Soumya Sarkar. He played really well. He needs the Bangladeshi player with him on pitch but no one of them who make partnership with him.
New Zealand played wisely and won the match. They have remained one Match of the series and New Zealand already won the two matches. It means New Zealand has won the series now. And now series is 2-0. Bangladesh will try to win the last match to avoid from 0 winning match of this series.

The management and selectors have been under a lot of pressure due to the inclusion of Soumya Sarkar and repeated chances, but the selectors have put their faith in Soumya Sarkar and Soumya Sarkar fully repaid the faith in the second ODI against New Zealand. Soumya Sarkar played a brilliant innings of 169 runs against New Zealand which is the second highest individual score in ODI cricket for Bangladesh. Soumya Sarkar's innings of 169 runs defeated Bangladesh on the day but one of the biggest takeaways for the fans is Soumya Sarkar's return to form after a long time. Although Bangladesh lost the match, Soumya Sarkar was awarded the Man of the Match for his brilliant innings. Congratulations Soumya Sarkar and congratulations to New Zealand Cricket.

Bangladesh team failed to win today's match due to lack of experienced bowlers in the squad. Maybe Bangladesh would not have been defeated today if they had better performance from the bowlers. Bangladeshi bowlers have managed to take only 3 wickets of New Zealand. Bangladesh did not have any experienced bowlers in the squad. At the same time two Bangladeshi bowlers Hasan Mahmud and Sakib gave a lot of runs. Apart from Miraz and Shoriful, none of the bowlers controlled their bowling. Bangladesh has already lost the series. Waiting to see if Bangladesh can make a comeback in the third match.

After the first match bravado, it was only fair that Indians failed in every department.  Grin

The likes of Arshdeep and Avesh already took enough wickets in the first match and it's okay to go wicketless in the final match as well lol  Grin Tongue. Having said that, this defeat came because the batters looked like a club cricketer. Rutu, Tikal and Sanju are just wasting time, the first 2 will still get a long rope and rightly so because they have a talent and are new in the setup but no one is sure about Sanju.

Sanju Samson is trying his level best to cement his position in the Indian team by not playing good cricket. India has enough wicket-keepers/batters for themselves and they can rotate these guys but players like Samson are not worth getting selected. It is only the fans of Samson that are trying their level best to get him a confirmed slot whereas he is not bothered at all. I felt that Iyer should have been in the team yesterday and it is okay to not take wickets once in a while but it is not okay to leak runs like Avesh Khan did in the match. Why he gets a slot is questionable when we can see he is not good for any format of cricket.

Bangladesh vs New Zealand in the second ODI, Bangladesh set a target of 291 runs to New Zealand. Soumya Sarkar scored a century after five long years. Soumya Sarkar played very well today Soumya Sarkar scored 169 runs off 151 balls. After Bangladesh batted so well today, they may not be able to win this match today. Because New Zealand is batting brilliantly. New Zealand need 38 runs from 60 balls.

Soumya Sarkar of Bangladesh team performed well enough, but the next batsmen could not support him. Soumya Sarkar scored 169 runs off 151 balls, but the fall of three wickets in the power play meant that the reverse batsmen could not stay on the field for long. But the New Zealand team has performed better than the Bangladesh team, the New Zealand team has so far scored 266 runs in 42 overs for just 3 wickets. The batsmen of the New Zealand team, starting from the opening, out of three consecutive batsmen, two batsmen have been out on the way to a century. The New Zealand team will definitely win in a short time.

#INDvsSA: Not Ruturaj's days in these odis, failed in batting and dropped catch too. Tilak Verma's position should be given to someone else honestly, he has been given so many opportunities in t20s and these odis, nothing substantial yet.

Well... as of now it looks like New Zealand is having the upper hand. They have lost just one wicket (that of Rachin Ravindra) and they have raced to 100+ in less than 18 overs. After the initial fireworks from Rachin, now Will Young and Henry Nicholls are batting at brisk pace. Unless Bangladesh can get one or two quick wickets in the next few overs, the match will rapidly slip out of their control. And I don't know why the Bangladesh captain is sticking with pacers such as Tanzim Hasan Sakib. He needs to have spin from both the ends.

Bangladesh team has given descent target of 292 runs. But considering the pitch it is not enough. Bangladesh team needed to collect 40-50 more runs. It seems that the New Zealand team is going to get an easy win in today's match.
New Zealand collected 111 runs after 18 overs. New Zealand's average collection is more than 6 per over. And New Zealand lost just one wicket. If the Bangladeshi bowlers cannot take 3/4 wickets before 30 overs then there is no chance for Bangladesh to win. New Zealand will win very easily with a target of 292 runs.
