New Zealand with a great batting performance in today's first match of ICC World Cup England vs New Zealand. These two teams played the final in the last ICC World Cup where England was in the best form. However, in today's first match, England batted first and collected 282 runs and lost 9 wickets, giving New Zealand a target of 283 runs. However, everyone was impressed by New Zealand's batting performance in today's match, they achieved a huge win by nine wickets in the first match. New Zealand batsmen especially Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway batted brilliantly both to give New Zealand victory in today's match. Devon Conway scored 152 runs off 121 balls and his batting performance was outstanding, scoring a brilliant century. And Rachin Ravindra scored a century with 123 runs off 96 balls, the batting performance of the duo delighted the crowd. The first match of the World Cup I thought would be very competitive. Also I thought England team as favorite. Because England played very well in the last series against New Zealand and won the series. It was totally unexpected that England would perform so poorly today.

During England batting few players done mistakes which hurt them badly, and they were not able to perform as they started but here we also need to praise New Zealand bowling which give their best in these hot and difficult conditions specially Matt Henry done good job with 3 wickets which was vital for them, and now they have been having impressive batting from the Conway and Ravindra both which are already passed centuries aggressively.

This match is slowly getting engrossing after Sam Curran took the first wicket. Rachid is on the pitch, this guy has the ability to hit the oddball and can rotate runs. Conway is in no hurry as he is still going with the ones and twos. The target is not that big for these guys to chase as a target of more than 300 runs would not be easy. New Zealand has been a different team today after their poor performance against England in the bilateral series. A good partnership is what they need to chase and win the match.

Yes exactly they played really well in the series but here in ICC World Cup's first match England is looking weak and New Zealand is now much stronger as compare to the England team. According to the current situation New Zealand made 209 runs in 28 overs and they need 74 runs in 21 overs. Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway partnership is going well. Matt Henry bowled well taking wickets of Malan, Butler and Sam Curran. Every bowler had good bowling economy, Rachin Ravindra's bowling was well used at the start by Brook and it made his economy quite high. This looks like New Zealand's game all the freaking way unless they fall like dominoes. Williamson not playing could be a problem for them, but I think they will manage without him since the target is pretty low.
Root was the only batsman who troubled the NZ bowlers while Henry was fantastic with the ball. England are clearly missing Stokes.
