You are missing the point here. Everyone expected Australia to win of course, but not like this. They struggled to even make it to 166 though they did shuffle their lineup quite a bit probably for experimental purposes.

First I would say that match between Australia and Netherlands started after few hours at actual time due to rain delay. There was disadvantage for the Australia team because batting pitch effected by rain due to this Australia unable to show their actual performance and not set a big target against Netherlands team. I feel that target 166 runs not too much high nor too low in 23 overs but I was wonder to see the bowling performance of Netherlands team they took seven wickets of Australia batsman which some big players out at few runs. Netherlands team made 84 runs and 82 runs left in almost 9 overs I feel that not possible for Netherlands to chase this target and they also lost 6 wickets and now they have less chance for winning this warm up match. Now match ended without any result

Well, surprisingly Australia hasn't been able to freely score in the match till now and scored 114 runs in the 16th over with 4 wickets down. This score seems a bit on the low side considering this is a strong Australian side and the opposition is one the weakest teams (at least on the paper). Steven Smith scored 55 runs is the highest among the Australian team.

I really didn't expect to see scores like Josh Inglis (0), Glenn Maxwell (5), Alex Carey (28) runs. If it was any strong opposition i would rekon they would have won against this Australian batting failure today.

Australia is struggling it's just because we have heavy rains and then match reduced to 23 overs which are still good for them to have some practice session which will help them in coming matches and if few batsmen are fail to score runs then it's not a big deal things could be well organized in coming matches and I have feeling they are able to score these runs still good from them in these conditions there main batsman done good job and have good score in these overcast conditions.

In chasing 167 right now we have all down for the Netherlands as they are having just 12 runs on board with 3 wickets gone, Mitchel Starc is doing all damage with his lethal bowling which is surely not easy to handle in these conditions.

Yes It's confirmed now match is under progress with 23 overs for each team at Thiruvananthapuram and after winning toss Australia is on bat we are having 4 overs 24 and lost of one wicket.

Alex Carey and Steven Smith both on crease for Australia, hopefully we will have some action from the both sides if rains allow for the completion of this match.
