Rain is causing disruptions in cricket matches yet again. Unfortunately, India vs England match has been called off due to rain. On the bright side, Australia vs Netherlands match is now reduced to 23 overs per side, so we're looking forward to this game.
It's frustrating how rain has been consistently affecting cricket matches in recent months. Perhaps matches should not be scheduled during the rainy season. Monsoon season is known for heavy rain, so planning matches in such places during this time might not be the best idea.

Agreed. During the last decade, Ashwin managed to win countless matches for India. Anyway, we don't have a lot of world class spinners active right now. Gone are the days when there was fierce competition between Muthiah Muralidaran, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble, with Rangana Herath, Harbhajan Singh and Daniel Vettori in the fringes. Right now, Ashwin is the only one who can dominate a test match. Lyon is noway near him, IMO. He is far too incosistent and injury prone. Sri Lanka has some good spinners such as Theekshana and Hasaranga, but they still have a long way to go.

Not just matches but he won plenty of test series for India with the ball and to some extent bat as well. There is a reason he has the second highest man of the series (10) after Muttiah Murlitharan (11) and the latter played almost 30-40 tests more.

I won't say Lyon is injury prone because he's the only bowler in history to play 100 test matches in a row without any break, he plays only one format so it helps. Theekshana just started his career, he's good but not sure if he'll play test cricket for long because franchise cricket is taking the lead and money is good. I'd be very happy if proven wrong tho because the kid has a talent. Hasaranga just wants to become white ball cricketer and as far as i can tell, he's not interested in test cricket.

In the First match both teams are good and don't say anything at this time. But India is more strong because they already won the series from Australia. So India has the chances to win.

In the second match Australia is strong as compare to Netherlands so I think Australia will win the match today.

About the performance of New Zealand, I think it was definitely one of the best chases that I have seen recently. Not gonna lie, they seemed to be in some problems. But they handled it quite perfectly. They were also scoring at a very high rate. it was like they somehow found a way to score without having any problems. But yes I have to say Pakistan bowling lineup should have done much better.

Agreed, there are far better spin bowlers in other countries. Even within India there are better bowlers, but the best part I see in him is the confident bowling unlike the match situation makes him better over the other. As said he's good with test matches, being in the home ground his performance could be better.

Pakistan batsman played well, but the bowling line-up wasn't able to support the team and make it a win. The credit goes much to the New Zealand team batsmen, because the way each and every player handled the situation is really awesome. Rachin is really awesome and missed his century which is very bad. Williamson took time against the swing from Salman and started scoring later. Till the last order, they played well as per the requirement without pressurising themselves. A big win for the team New Zealand at the warm up match. Pakistan needs to make themselves better with the league matches.

In the other match Bangladesh enjoys a comfortable win against Sri Lanka team that struggled to score 263 runs. With the scores coming from Tanzid (84), Liton Das (61), Mehidy Hasan (67*) and Mushfiqur Rahim (35*) Bangladesh reached the target in 42 overs.

We have the good number of white ball bowlers right now those are giving their best recently in today game we have some good treatment from the Kiwis for them, and now they have to check their weakness for the future games as well because this time things are looking not easy for the bowlers on these batting pitches and with rain is also going to have big impact as well.
