The last round of group phase matches in the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup will be played today and tomorrow. Nepal Under-19s will be taking on Afghanistan Under-19s at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium today, and both these teams have lost all of their matches till now. And especially for Nepal, this has been a very disappointing tournament. They played two matches (against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh), and lost both of them by heavy margins. The senior team failed to qualify for next year's Asia Cup, and the junior team's performance is not that great either.

I am very surprised by the performance of Bangladesh women's team. I have never seen this team win a series. But they won every match in the series against Ireland. And Bangladesh women's team was able to dominate in every match. Bangladesh played very well in the last match. Has the performance of Bangladesh women's team really improved? Or is Ireland team very weak? I think Ireland women's team is very weak that's why Bangladesh was able to perform well in this series. I am waiting to see if Bangladesh women's team players can perform well in T20 format.
Hmmmm... That is right that Bangladesh women team played very well against Ireland women team. They won every match in series which is big deal. It is possible that Ireland team is not very strong, but it is also clear that Bangladesh women team has gotten a lot better. To see if this will keep happening it will be interesting to watch how Bangladesh women team does in T20 format like you said. If they can keep playing well in this format it will be good sign that they have really improved.

Bangladesh Women vs Ireland Women, 3rd ODI (ICC Championship Match), batting first, Ireland Women scored 185 runs. Ireland Women tried to bat well, and they played very well against Bangladesh Women. Bangladesh Women played very well, and they bowled well, which made the Island Women easily under their control. Bangladesh Women are playing much better than Bangladesh Men, however, we can see that Bangladesh are batting to achieve the target of 185 runs. At the moment, Bangladesh have lost 1 wicket and have scored 88 runs in 20 overs, if Bangladesh Women can play well and patiently, they will definitely win. Since Bangladesh Women still have enough wickets, they can easily achieve the target of 98 runs if they can bat patiently.

Pakistan under 19 team are looking in great touch especially due to huge contribution of thier oppner and firey pacer and that's a really great indication for Pakistan team future because they are looking in very safe hands. Anyway shahzaib Khan are really on fire its his second consecutive century at second match of the tournament, also some of guys complaint in previous match that only few of Pakistani batter are doing good which isn't safe because they need more to play like them In order to announce as winner of this tournament, so I think toady they fix thier complaint and played as a team from top to bottom. We have seen Shahzaib Khan batting well in both the matches. Shahzaib Khan scored 159 runs in the first match. Shahzaib Khan scored 132 runs in the second match. Pakistani batsmen played very well in both the matches and won.
But let's not forget that Pakistan is playing against Ireland. Ireland team cannot be said to be very strong. Basically Ireland's national team is also relatively weak. Ireland U-19 team is also not strong. So I would say that we should not be too happy if they perform well against such a team. I have a lot of doubts whether Pakistan U-19 team will be able to play well against India and Australia U-19 teams.

Anyone watching the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup? The match between India Under-19s and Japan Under-19s is ongoing at the moment. India are batting first, and at the moment they are 118/2 with Andre Siddarth and Mohamed Amaan at the crease. We can expect a big total, in the range of 350-400 against the inexperienced Japanese bowling attack. Aarav Tiwari was the only Japanese bowler who looked impressive so far, with everyone else leaking plenty of runs.
India won that match by 211 runs, this was a big margin lead but then Japan Under 19s is the weakest team of this group.
The Pakistan team is leading the table while the Indian team is going to lose their position in the Semi finals. They have to win their other match with a better run rate then they might have a chance for them to qualify for the next stage. So far, I am not seeing good for the Indian team because can you even imagine that the United Arab Emirates are at the 2nd position. But I am still hoping for them because the last match between India and United Arab Emirates will be a decider of who moves in the semi finals.
I think India will come in the second position. Even though they are on the third position right now but I know in the next matches you will see them in the second place. As today they faced Japan and they played their best game. Winning by 211 runs is no joke, no matter against which team you are playing. India U19 will have to produce a similar performance against UAE too. Even though UAE has a better NRR but that does not matter as the team winning that last match will get 2 points and they will move up the table, entering the Semi's.

Pakistan has qualified from Group A, and they have one match remaining against Japan Under-19s. The second team to qualify from this group will be the winner of the match between India Under-19s and United Arab Emirates Under-19. Also, from Group B Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have been confirmed as the entrants to semi-finals. It should be quite disappointing for the Afghanistan Under-19s to miss out. At the moment, Pakistan looks like the strongest team in the tournament, and I won't be surprised if they end up winning this tournament.

India Under-19s have reached 273/4 after 42 overs against Japan Under-19s. With 8 overs remaining, anywhere between 350 and 380 seems possible. Skipper Mohamed Amaan is still batting with 93, while Nikhil Kumar has come out to join him. That said, Aarav Tiwari and Nihar Parmar have bowled well for Japan, and they have been economical so far. This is the second group match for both India and Japan. The loser of this match is effectively out of the tournament, as Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates already have 2 points each.
India Under 19 team outstanding comeback in this match winning by a huge margin of 211 runs against Japan. While chasing down a huge total, the Japan under-19 team only managed to score 128 runs in a loss of eight wickets. Hardik Raj's bowling performance is out-classed, picking up 2 important wickets by just giving only nine runs with an impressive economy rate of one run per over. Chetan Sharma also bowled well, picking up two crucial wickets by giving 14 runs in his bowling spell and restricting the Japan under-19 teams to under 130 runs. The third and final match of the series between Ireland Women and Bangladesh Women is now being played. Neither Ireland Women nor Bangladesh Women are very strong teams. A strong opening partnership is a must when a team wants to chase the target. Just think of the match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. 243 runs is a reachable target, but with pressure, it isn't an easy score. Look at the performance of Afghanistan. They kept losing wickets from the beginning. With the win, Sri Lanka has almost qualified for the semifinals from Group B. In Group A, India and Pakistan might get qualified. I agree with your point that if opening of match is strong and winning chance increase significantly. Their first batter Dulnith Sigera was not succeeded to express their strong inning but next two batters Sharujan Shanmuganathan and Pulindu Perera build strong batting partnership with long inning and both batters managed 102 and 53 scores respectively. Sri Lanka Under 19s squad managed to collect 243 scores as a defend by playing 50 overs and this scores made great determination to bowlers. Their bowlers turned out this match to one sided by picking crucial wickets of Afghanistan Under 19s squad in early stage. Praveen Maneesha cleared out 3 crucial wickets of Afghanistan Under 19s squad and put burden to their batters and all wickets were lost at 112 scores and simply they achieved victory.

In my point of view, they are doing average performance but now the last power play is going to be started which is why they have to play fast and good here. I am looking that they can touch to 280. Also at the same time, the biggest advantage they have is many wickets in their hand that is really good for them as well. Sri Lankan Under 19 cricket team won the match by 131 runs . That was an easy win for SL- U19 team because they gave excellent target in this match which was 244 runs . Sharujan Shanmuganathan is awarded as player of the match because he played century in this match and played crutial role in win .Perera also played excellent in this match and made half century for the team and gave good start in this match.
No Afghanistan U19 team player could not stay on Wicket and team was out by making only 112 runs in this match. Maneesha took 3 wickets in this match and played crutial role to close this match as early as possible and Thevmika took 2 wickets in this match.Viran Chamuditha and Ranjithkumar also took 2,2 wickets and in my opinion SL -U19 team won due to best bowlers because target was not as big as saw the performance of bowlers.
