ICC Champions Trophy 2025
ICC champions trophy 2025 fate will be decided today by ICC. BCCI still not agree on sending his team to Pakistan and PCB so far hasn't given any given green signal on accepting hybrid model. As a cricket analyst, it's not fair with PCB to accept hybrid model and ICC must vote for Pakistan but ICC is helpless in front of mighty BCCI. PCB has also threatened that in case it is denied of hosting rights then there won't be any India Pakistan match in icc events. Let's see what icc decides today and will it be acceptable to Pakistan.

Pakistan lost the first match unexpectedly. Zimbabwe is a weak team. Even then, we saw very bad batting from Pakistani batsmen in the first match. Pakistan lost the first match mainly because of the inconsistent performance of the batsmen. However, Pakistani batsmen batted well in the second and third matches. Pakistan reached the target of victory in the second match in just 18.2 overs. Pakistan also won the last match by a big margin. Pakistan is also the favorite in the T20 match. Because there are several batsmen in the Pakistan squad who are capable of batting at a decent strike rate.
I agree that Pakistan loss in first match was surprising especially since they were playing against weaker team like Zimbabwe. But it is good to see that Pakistani batsmen played much better in second and third matches. They did great job of reaching target score in just 18.2 overs in second match. This was very impressive performance. With strong group of batsmen Pakistan has big advantage going into T20 match. Their ability to score runs quickly could make big difference in match. This is key strength that could help Pakistan win.

And the most important thing is that they won the matches in quite convincing manner. Pakistan won the second match by 10 wickets, and then they won the third match by 99 runs. Now the action shifts to T20I format. Pakistan has the momentum with them right now, and they would be the favorites to win the T20I series as well. Also, the PCB management should be happy that young players such as Kamran Ghulam are performing exceptionally well.
Yes Pakistan team performed quite well in series after losing 1 st game very poorly they bounce back in last two games brilliantly and both games they won as well won series only lose one game. In 3 rd game, Kamran performed quite well from Pakistan team and he made 103 runs in 99 balls and hitted ten 4s and four 6s. In bowling, he took down 1 wicket in 2 overs and gave 7 runs. Pakistan team set a competitive runs target 303 in 50 overs by 6 wickets. Shafique made 50 runs in 68 balls and hitting five 4s and one 6s. Zimbabwe team have a great pressure in full team first they have big runs to chase and second they lost first few good players wickets. Ervine showed some brilliant effort and made 50 runs but all his effort was useless. Congratulations Pakistan team to win game and congratulations Kamran to get player of game award.

I was underestimating this young squad of Pakistan after the first match. Even I was thinking that Pakistan might loss this ODI series for this squad. Now they have completely proven me wrong. Saim Ayub is going to be auto choice as an opener for the next few ODI matches of Pakistan. They have won the second and third ODI match very easily. Perhaps, Zimbabwe is going to be whitewashed in the T20 series.

Today every single bowler of the Pakistan team performed equally well as Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, Aamer Jamal and Saim Ayub picked 2 wickets each. The bond of these four bowlers is too good for Pakistan. Everyone has their own ability as Haris Rauf is a speed gun and fast bowler while on the other side, Aamer Jamal is a medium fast bowler and he is such a good bowler.
I think he should get a chance to play for Pakistan in future matches. Now about Abrar Ahmed, he is a wonderful spinner and also created wonderful history on his debut in the test matches and Saim Ayub is always amazing in all departments of the game. Together they restricted the Zimbabwe team to just over 200 runs and won the series.
Kamran Ghulam 100 runs helped Pakistan reach a total above 300. He played all around the ground and was dominant throughout the innings.
Today the openers and the top order made a magical effort by the Pakistan team that was super great for them and allowed them to set a good target too. Saim Ayub made 31 in 37 balls, it is not too good but at least it is not too bad and on the other side in the last match, Abdullah Shafique was playing slowly but now he is playing with good strength.
Kamran Ghulam has smashed a wonderful century and then Muhammad Rizwan also did average performance. I think Pakistan have to make some changes in thier batting lineup but still in this series, they are checking their players for the next series.

it seems that was the only win they could get in the ODI series as Pakistan is also looking strong again in the 3rd ODI. Zimbabwe is going to lose the game for sure, they do not have many wickets in hand otherwise the way they are batting they can chase the score but they have lost their 8 wickets which is why no chance for them now.
By the way, still the Zimbabwe played very well in this series as they beat Pakistan in the very first game of this one day series. Pakistan was confident but Zimbabwe broke it and made fear for the next matches that were won by the Pakistan team and they will win the series too.
This is happening regularly as Zimbabwe winning first game and then giving up in next games easily, but we have Pakistan even they won third game and series, but their performance is not as they needed because things are not stable specially their batting is having not good time while they are playing against a weaker opponent their performance needed to be at the top.By the way, still the Zimbabwe played very well in this series as they beat Pakistan in the very first game of this one day series. Pakistan was confident but Zimbabwe broke it and made fear for the next matches that were won by the Pakistan team and they will win the series too.
We have some good individual performances from few players which are going to have good future but still they needed to work on technique and quality because now if you want to compete in world then you have to give your best some resistance in lower middle order from Zimbabwe but the gone cheaply and lost this match by 99 runs.

This third match is very important for Zimbabwe as it is for Pakistan today, if Pakistan wins this match it will seal the series and if Zimbabwe win then Zimbabwe will definitely win the series. Pakistan, however, won the toss and decided to bat in today's match and as far as it is understood, if Pakistan can score above 250 runs in today's match, Pakistan will definitely have a high chance of winning. But Zimbabwe will want to restrict Pakistan before 220 runs if that is possible then Zimbabwe can do something positive in today's match.
I think Pakistan know the importance of this last match of the ODI series and that's why they perform extra ordinary even thier main player and previous match high scorrer saim ayub got departure before his vital contribution but rest of player does handsome especially the new uncap guy Kamran ghulam with his significant century, also some decent contribution from Abdullah and Rizwan push Pakistan total target above 300 and that's a enough Target for thier bowlers to defend and that what exactly they done by collecting rest of thier ten wicket before the winning margin goes below 100. Anyway Pakistan won the series by 2-1 which can be easily turn into 3-0 but if they avoid thier miner mistake. Now from December first they will once again face same opponent in t20 series which Gona be more interesting to watch

Zimbabwe team came out to bat and scored 204 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 40.1 overs. The batting line of Zimbabwe team was weak due to which Zimbabwe team could not win today's match. Yes, Pakistan is very closed to win this series 2-1. Zimbabwe lost 9 wickets in just 204 runs. Pakistan batting performance is amazing scored a huge 300 plus runs total in a loss of six wickets. Abdullah Shafique played a clasic inning score half century and Kamran Ghulam scored a well deserved debut hundred in ODI cricket. from Pakistan bowling side Abrar Ahmad and Saim ayub both picked 2, 2 wickets. Zimbabwe need 100 runs in 60 balls to win this match the require run rate is cross 10 runs per over its very difficult for Zimbabwe to get back in this match, Pakistan just needs one more wickets to win series and i hope it is easy win for Pakistan.
Back to back, the wickets are being lost by the Zimbabwe team, they cannot steady the game and after every over, their one player down that is why they lost all thier wickets at 204 runs and lost the game.
However, Zimbabwe played with a good run rate throughout this chase. At one time Zimbabwe hd to make 117 and they had 80 balls to make it. I think if there were wickets remaining with them then they would score better but in the current situation they could only lose the game. Zimbabwe bowlers gave too many runs and that is why they had to chase a target over 300. Blessing Muzarabani gave 66 runs while Faraz Akram gave 63 runs in 8 overs.

Zimbabwe stands at number 11 in ICC ODI men ranking while Pakistan is at number 3 yet Zimbabwe was able to beat Pakistan quite convincingly in first ODI. The second ODI was a must win game for Pakistan to remain in the series and luckily they didnt made any mistake in that game. Zimbabwe already have made a significant impact in the series by winning the first ODI and they will be happy not to lose the series 3-0.
Well, it seems that was the only win they could get in the ODI series as Pakistan is also looking strong again in the 3rd ODI. I was amazed when I saw Pakistan team great comeback in previous second match and their squad defeated Zimbabwe squad with massive difference and I was 100% confident that Pakistan team would showcase their true performance. Now both squads Pakistan and Zimbabwe squad were participated for third one day match and Pakistan squad has fully completed their first batting inning and they won toss task. Their members were also displayed their amazing performance again in third match with managing 303 scores as a defend. Their all top order batters showcased impressive strength but these two Kamran Ghulam and Abdullah Shafique played vital role in batting and both achieved fifty and century in their inning. Kamran Ghulam and Abdullah Shafique both collected 103 and 50 scores respectively. Zimbabwe squad batting Inning is ongoing on crease and their members played 21 overs with collecting 105 scores and lost of 4 batter wickets. I am damn sure that Pakistan will also emerge victory in third match this would be more easy for them if their bowlers will pick up the Wicket of Craig Ervine batter and one two more wickets in next few overs and put burden on them.

Kamran Ghulam, one of Pakistan's main contributors in today's game, is out with a century but the score Pakistan collects will be a fighting score with Zimbabwe. At the end of 46 overs, Pakistan has collected 257 runs and if the remaining 4 overs are more aggressive, they will easily cross 300 runs. If the target is 300 runs, Zimbabwe will not be able to win by targeting this run because Pakistan's bowling attack is very strong, so it is impossible for this Zimbabwe to meet the target of so many runs.
Not only just the Kamran Ghulam I want to also add here Abdullah Shafique as his 50 run also played a big roll on this 303 big score.I thought after the first match of this series may be Pakistan team would lose the series before the one match but they did a good recovery from the second at least they didn't have the worst performance what they do in the first match as well as I think here their luck was also good from weather.
Anyway, I don't think that the current Zimbabwe form have that kind of capabilities to chase the 304 run and as their batting line up wasn't excellent like the Pakistan team.

Sri Lanka A and Pakistan A
Today was the first one day match between Sri Lanka A and Pakistan A. Haider Ali is the player of the match for his amazing and awesome performance by smashing 100 and at the same time, he did much effort in the fielding and picked two main catches, also defended much score. I think if he performs like this in further matches then he should be playing for the Pakistan national team. In the past whenever he got the chance to play for Pakistan then always he missed it and could not score high.
Another news coming from Pakistan is that due to political unrest in the country, this Sri Lanka A tour of Pakistan is on hold for now and hence we may not see further matches. Sri Lanka A tour of Pakistan put on hold due to political protests
The match between the two was quite good and interesting as Pakistan A played the 50 over innings very well and strongly. And their batsmen gave a huge target of 306 in 50 overs which was very heavy on Sri Lanka A in which their batsmen scored only 198 runs and the whole team was out in 40 overs. Which proves that his bowling was also quite good and under pressure. If Sri Lanka played with confidence and played together to save wickets, I was hopeful that they could have achieved the target.
