Pakistan's players have not been able to perform consistently at the moment which has resulted in them being badly beaten in the first ODI by a weak Zimbabwe. Many of the batsmen in the Pakistan team are experienced batsmen such as Rizwan, Abdullah Shafique, Saim Ayub, Agha Salman and some other batsmen. Despite being an experienced batsman, they cannot perform regularly, Mohammad Rizwan has been performing poorly for several series and still his performance is not improving.

Today again Pakistan team will face Zimbabwe in the second ODI match. This match is most important for Pakistan cricket team because if they unfortunately lose today's match against Zimbabwe then they will lose the series against Zimbabwe.

The Pakistan team has never thought that they would experience this kind of loss. If this match is against any of the top teams, then the Pakistan team might have chosen to bat first after winning the toss. In this match, out of confidence after winning the toss, they choose to bowl first. Bowling is good, and 205 is not a big score for them. However, the over reduction served as a support for the Zimbabwe team. They well utilised the opportunity and took wickets continuously. Maybe if the complete match had taken place, the Pakistan team might've played their regular game and won the match. For Zimbabwe, the performance from Nagarva is appreciable, because without his scoring from the bottom, Zimbabwe couldn't have crossed 200+ runs.

Pakistan unable to develop themselves and suffering from victory for long time. They lost many recent matches against their opponents team but it's hard to believe, developing team like Zimbabwe defeated Pakistan. Although I don't neglect any team but people including me use to believe that, atleast Pakistan is stronger than Zimbabwe. But Zimbabwe proved everyone wrong. Yes ,you are right but that kind of performance of Pak team is due to bad decisions of cricket board and they are not picking good players. We always see that pak team top order is not playing quality cricket and that is big cause of lose in last match. Pak team players have to make routine and they should work hard but we are not watching good performance from that team. Zimbabwe team did not give good target but after that they performed well in bowling and they made match one sided and Pak team were helpless. But now the question is when Pak cricket will produce players like Younus Khan and Shahid Afridi or we should not expect any good thing from Pak team. That is choice of cricket board.

To be honest, before start this competition I had some doubts and fears that something unexpected might happen in first match as everyone was saying that it would be quite simple task for Pakistan team to win this one day competition against Zimbabwe and everyone believed that Zimbabwe team is weak as compare to Pakistan squad but Zimbabwe squad prove all of us wrong by defeating Pakistan squad very badly. Next second one day match will start tomorrow and in first match, Zimbabwe squad did not display such strong performance and their scores 205 was low quality. Pakistan squad bowlers did great job in bowling and restricted batters of Zimbabwe squad to such weak scores. But their bad performance in batting Inning, yesterday they faced bad defeat with massive difference scores of 80. Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub both are nice batters and came crease as starter but both disappointed their fans and squad by delivering shit performance.

In this year 2024, I think there was the good effort and progress by the Zimbabwe team. They are not able to make their place in the last ICC event and also at the same time, they are not playing the next ICC Champions Trophy. And I don't have idea but I think Zimbabwe has not even played Champion Trophy since their cricket started. However in 2024 after the World Cup, firstly they beat the Indian team in a T20 match and after this for some time there was a break and played matches against weak teams but then yesterday they also beat Pakistan.

Two matches are still left and I think Pakistan can make a good and strong comeback this time too. After this, the T20 series will come and to be honest, I am more scared for the T20 matches because, in the 2022 World Cup, Pakistan lost against Zimbabwe, that was so bad for them and at that time, there were many chances for the Pakistan team to get out of the tournament but they did not, because somehow they have reached the final game but ended up runners-up. Yes I agree too that poor performance should not be deciding factor to host an ICC tournament.

If rain did interrupted the match and the DLS method would not be involved in the yesterday's match then at that condition, still Zimbabwe was winning in that condition too or maybe they would win with more efficiency.

Pakistan cannot chase the target of just 141, the original was more than 200 but after DLS it has decrease to the 141 and they cannot even chase this score. Also if we talk about the bowling then that was also so poor and cannot defend the scoring by Zimbabwe. No words to say at this stage, Pakistan had such a bad start here. Muhammad Rizwan has also not played good and just waste balls.

For me this is one of worst ever performance from Pakistani cricket team like it's true that they have no consistency like like one minute up and second minutes down, who will believe that they are the one who brutally smashed Australian team in Australia which is mostly impossible for any normal team but they does and now against an associate team they exposed thier batting lineup like seriously Kamran got several chances but just scored a single century In home test match against england while salman agha were continuing thier single digit scored with some golden ducks. While compared to Australian Zimbabwe were very easy opponent but still such failure. They have 17/2 and then 58/6, to be honest thanks GOD rain safed them otherwise it will be more than 100 margin victory of Zimbabwe at home ground Undecided

I am fed up with the poor performance of Pakistan and Bangladesh. For the past few years, we have been seeing poor and inconsistent performances from these two teams. Pakistan won the ODI series against Australia a few days ago by 2-1. We have seen Pakistani players perform well in the ODI format against Australia. But today Pakistan performed abysmally against a team like Zimbabwe.

Pakistan scored only 60 runs in 21 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Pakistani batsmen batted like fools. Pakistan could not score even at an average of 3 runs per over. Pakistan has a lot of experienced players in the squad. Even then, the team is not able to perform as expected.

Well this also makes them look like a small team and no one would listen to them if they demand India and rest of the world to visit their country for champion trophy. It will just make their case weak to have the ICC champions trophy in their own country. I would be keen to see how Pakistan will perform in rest of the matches, as losing the series would seriously dent their cause.

I really don't know who to blame for this loss by Pakistan. I heard on social media that people are complaining the rain and the DLS as the reason of their loss and ignore the fact that they made only 60 odds runs and lost a lot of wickets too. Pakistan team seriously need to think about their performance while Zimbabwe must be celebrating this win.
