The Asia Cup 2023 match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan was certainly a game-changer because to their outstanding performance of Miraz and Shanto who played outstanding batting for them, helped them to a respectable total of 334 runs. In my opinion Taskin and Shorful has become a strong bowler as a result of his perseverance and hard effort, whilst Mustafiz has lagged behind as a result of lacking a similar level of devotion. Bangladesh ability to compete at the highest level on the world stage was demonstrated by their victory by 89 runs which not only highlights their talent but also keeps their aspirations alive to win AsiaCup 2023.
I didn't think that Bangladesh will perform so well. But after watching Bangladesh team's first match I was upset with Bangladesh team because Bangladesh team had bad performance in batting and bowling line for which I was worried in Bangladesh vs Afghanistan match. But on the day Bangladesh team batsmen bat first. Bangladesh team won on that day by giving a target of more runs. Afghanistan could not do well in bowling and batting in the match. I thought Afghanistan team could perform well but they could not do that.

Heavy thunderstorms are predicted for entire day, and the same weather is going to be there for the next 7-8 days. The ACC is actually considering to move the remaining matches to either Dambulla or Hambantota, where the conditions are slightly better. That said, this decision to hold matches in Sri Lanka right at the monsoon season was a disaster. The BCCI wanted to move matches out of Pakistan, but then they should have also kept weather conditions in mind.

Bangladesh bowlers bowling well Taskin Ahmed took 4 crucial wickets by just giving 44 runs in 8.3 overs and Shoriful Islam great fast bowler of Bangladesh also picked 3 important wickets by just giving 36 runs in 9 overs. From Afghanistan, Ibrahim Zadran showed his class while chasing down such a huge target he batted well and scored 75 runs.
Bangladesh really played well. And I was thinking that the Bangladesh can win the match when they made 334 runs. From the batsmans I will appreciate Mehidy Hasan Miraz who made 112 runs for 119 balls. And second is Najmul Hossain Shanto who made 104 runs for 105 balls. And from bowlers there are also two bowlers who deserves appreciation. One is Taskin Ahmed who got 4 wickets and second is Shoriful Islam who got 3 wickets. Congratulations Bangladesh team.

The 4th match of the Asia Cup between Bangladesh and Afghanistan has started in Lahore Cricket Stadium. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first which is a good decision the current score of the Bangladesh team is 132 runs in a loss of 2 wickets in 25 overs. Bangladesh batted well especially Mehidy Hasan scoring a well deserved half century in 67 balls with the partnership of Najmul Hossain Shanto who is playing at 36 runs in 44 balls. Shifting the tournament??
I think this is a good decision maybe. We just want to see the match and if Pakistan and India both qualify for the final. Then rain also can qualify for the final. If UAE is too hot, you can also select another country for this Asia Cup.
I think the best thing is to shift the tournament to Pakistan, there is no rain and no too hot weather, Just normal weather. Also, the real country who host this Asia Cup 2023 is Pakistan but, India doesn't want to come to Pakistan.

Among the pacers of Bangladesh, Taskin will definitely be at the top. I have seen Taskin's performance a few years back. He did not bowl very well. He did not have any variation in bowling. He used to score a lot of runs against big teams. But now Taskin's bowling is very good. Through hard work he has now become an excellent bowler. Taskin's line and length are still excellent. Also his bowling is very controlled now. He knows how to bowl against any batsman. Day by day Taskin is getting more experienced and his bowling is also getting better. On the other hand, talented bowlers like Mustafiz are falling behind. If Mustafiz was as diligent as Taskin, Bangladesh's pace bowling attack would have been stronger.

Mujeeb went on the back foot and to hit the ball, his bat was also going to hit the stump. Luckily his bat escaped the stump, but his back foot hitted the stump. Anyway, Mushfiqur had taken a great catch of Ibrahim, which had changed the momentum of the game in middle over. He was playing really great before getting out. @JSRAW, do you have any plan to create a prediction pool for the upcoming ODI world cup? There wasn't too many participants in the last T20 world cup prediction pool, but it was enjoyable.

Yes Mujeeb Ur Rahman is now the only player in cricket history to get out via hit wicket in two consecutive game. Today he was out on 4 runs but in last game against Pakistan he gave away his wicket after playing an entertaining innings of 64 that brought Afghanistan back in the game. Afghanistan need to improve there performance in next game to remain in the context.

I think in today's match Afghanistan can't chase the target of Bangladesh, because the main player of Afghanistan Rahmanullah Gurbaz is gone out, which is a very bad thing for Afghanistan and Bangladesh needs to win this match with a nice and good NRR. Then Bangladesh can qualify for Super4.
Unfortunately Afghanistan continues his tournament run with a deadly defeat against a Bangladesh, no doubt it was important match for Bangladesh as because they already lose his first match and if they lose the second one then thier elimination were confirmed but they done a good job and secure thier points against a strong opponent. It true that they were little bit off track at early over but later the spectacular partnership of two prominent batter really changed thee entire situation. I taught Afghanistan will really win the match but thier main bowler like rasid and mujeeb leak much runs than expectation which really blow difficulty for them. Also early unexpected dismissal of gurbaz degrade them and thus due to high pressure they can't Handel situation and lose his important wickets one after another.
