Yes, every year we miss out on many, many important matches due to rain interruptions. We all expected that the third match of the group stage of this year's Asia Cup between India and Pakistan would be a high voltage match. But that high voltage match was swept away by the rain in a flash, in an instant. Pakistan would have easily won this match against India had the rain not interfered with it. As much as the Pakistan team has performed brilliantly in bowling, there are more surprises in their batting. Unfortunately, due to the rain, we could not enjoy the spectacle

No doubt the match had a sad ending and it was anyone game from thereon had we played the 2nd innings of this match. Both teams could have won that match and hence we cannot say the the rain was lucky for one team or the other.

Coming to the bowling, Shaheen Afridi did display a marvellous and extraordinary bowling spell. I was reading on social media that no bowler in the world had dismissed both Virat Kholi and Rohit in the same innings before, Shaheen did it.

Your point is correct. If the batting partnership of Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan had not lasted for a long duration then Indian team might not have been as successful in scoring 266 runs. If I am correct it was difficult for Indian team for scoring above 200 runs. Their partnership made match at intense level and it was only when match continued without being suspended or delay by rain that we could have seen who will win the match. Considering Pakistan's strong bowling performance one would have expected same batting performence to be impressive. If we look at their previous performance they had out the whole Nepal of team for almost 160 runs.

Both the Ishan Kishan and Hardic Pandiya had take responsibility of the team score,if they also out with low run like other players.The total score of India may not cross 150 runs,because the average score of other players was 10-15 runs.So the second half was played without rain,the Pakistan had a good chance of winning the match.From the Afghanistan matches,the Pakistan had a capacity to score the 300+ from 50 overs.So this 267 will not be the big target for the Pakistan.The team India had a good bowling in a recent days,we already see the India bowling in the WI series.To know the exact result we need to wait till the next India vs Pakistan match.

266 runs in an ODI match is not a big score compared to the reputation India has in the game of cricket. India were expected to give Pakistan a target of more than 300 runs. Pakistan is also not a team to be neglected, they also have a lot of reputation in the game of cricket. So it will not be impossible for Pakistan to surpass this target. I think Pakistan may be able to surpass this target. Because Pakistan team also has some good batsmen who will collect some good runs each

I don't think they will be able to score 266 runs as bad as India's top order batted. Ishan Kisanevan Hardik Pandya batted well. Due to the good performance of these two, the team managed to collect 266 runs. Otherwise, India would have lost all the wickets before 200 runs. None of the experienced top-order batsmen can stay at the crease for long. However, we cannot see the result of the match due to rain. Had it not rained we would have enjoyed a competitive match.

No doubt hardik and Kishan partnership really put India on track rather than this I taught they will hardly score like around 200, but thier partnership really boost them which allow them to scored higher. At one stage of thier partnership I taught they will scored 300 they way they smashed top class bowler but unfortunately after Ishan dismissal things got changed automatically.
Everyone has this own mindset but just like other indian top journalist like vikrant and Akash we believe that it will be an easy victory for them because after rain trouble overs and runs will be turn down lower which really help Pakistan batter to chased it down and make a victory on his name..

No I don't think it's a poor captaincy because there is no other option for him to use because they can maximum use any fast bowler for just 10 overs and if they use most of fast bowler at early stage then probility of smashing spinners in last overs will be very hight as because opponent batter will didn't feel frightened or under pressure to take a charge against them to boost this total score,

Well, how about if the pacers had kept on bowling from the 15th over onwards, they would have managed to take one or two more wickets and it would have been like 150 all out for the Indian team. When you have taken early wickets, you should be aggressive and not let the other team settle down and come back in this game. Believe me, India was going to make 300+ runs but again the fast bowling attack of Pakistan prevented it.

Anyway, its a never ending debate now as the match is drawn so each one of us can argue that we are right because we do not have a winner in this match

The match between Pakistan and India was a draw. Both teams take 1-1 point, No one is the winner of this match. But, India gave a very low target just 267. So, Pakistan can easily chase this target, also People are so excited about the Pakistan vs India match but rain is coming and now people are very disappointed.

I can't understand when ACC knows Sri Lanka's weather so why they selected the host country, Sri Lanka, not for the normal match, The biggest of the cricket world PAK vs IND. Anyways, Pakistan's bowling performance is amazing and we can't see the batting of Pakistan.

That's where the game drifted a bit from Pakistan otherwise maximum total would've been 200 at best. Still. Having said that 266 is not a big total so there is a fine chance for Pakistan, unless they choke.

266 runs in an ODI match is not a big score compared to the reputation India has in the game of cricket. India were expected to give Pakistan a target of more than 300 runs. No I don't think it's a poor captaincy because there is no other option for him to use because they can maximum use any fast bowler for just 10 overs and if they use most of fast bowler at early stage then probility of smashing spinners in last overs will be very hight as because opponent batter will didn't feel frightened or under pressure to take a charge against them to boost this total score, but one things is that spinner would me more worthy if rain didn't interrupt at the early stage of the game. But anyway after leaking too much runs in mid overs they control the situation in last by breaking the worthy partnership and then Quickly took some important wickets which really turn the match.
