I am seeing lot of swings in the indian bowling line up which is very hard to pick. Srilanka batsmens completely failed to understand the ball and this why they are losing wickets. Siraj which are usually not considered a wicket taking bowlers completely destroyed the SL batting and all dangers man backs to pavilion. Srilanka couldn't win this match. They will now try to build the partnership to increase score. spin is also yet to be bowled. Kuldeep Yadav is ready to please the crowd. This tournament proved so bad for Srilanka team and they should work on their performance.

In the India vs Sri Lanka match, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field, and India batted. The batsmen of the Indian team are doing a great batting performance in today's match. If there was some pressure at the beginning of the match, then again Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill eased the pressure. The two have made a great pair, of course the target they are playing in I think they will both score centuries very soon. If Sri Lanka can't take wickets then surely they can lose to India by a huge margin. And right now India team has collected 140 runs in 24 overs and lost 1 wicket. In the end if they can survive I think they can score 350 runs.
India ended up collecting 357 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill batted very well. Srilanka won the toss and chose to bowl first, they started well by taking the wicket of Rohit Sharma. Then two catches were dropped one for Shubhman Gill and the next one for Virat Kohli. If they had taken these two wickets then India would have been in big trouble. For now, both batters are hitting the balls for boundaries with a run rate of 5.73. With the current run rate the projected target is more than 300 runs and if the Indian batter gets those runs then the Srilnakan team would be in trouble. Both opening bowlers bowled really well but now the bowlers are bowling a lot of lose balls, not looking great for Srilanka now.
Partnership of Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli is going well and they have 123 runs partnership. If these two batsman will not leave the pitch so India can go above 350 runs and this target will be a good target for SriLankan team and difficult to chase. A strong start for India in Mumbai despite losing captain Rohit Sharma in the first over. India are at 164/1 in 28th Overs. Virat kholi make his fifty and Shubman Gill also scored impressive knock playing at 75*. Sixth 50 plus score in last eight ODI matches for Virat Kohli. Well.. one of the disadvantages with having 10-team group is that after a few matches we will get to know who is going to qualify for the semi-finals. Now it is certain that India and South Africa will be in the semi-finals. There is some doubt regarding Australia, but they should be able to qualify as well. And then it is going to be a direct fight between New Zealand and Pakistan for the remaining slot. All the other teams are out of reckoning, with the exception of Afghanistan. That means that 4 out of 10 teams have no chance of qualifying for the semis.

It's too early to say if New Zealand will qualify for the semi final or not, but looking at the points table, things are looking really interesting and a lot of teams are competing for the 4th position including New Zealand. I won't rule them out as yet. They only need to beat Pakistan (who are not in a good form) and they would qualify.

India and South Africa have booked two semifinals spots which implies that the remaining teams are duking it out for the remaining 2 spots. Australia will most probably occupy one spot, but the final spot is still up for grabs.
New Zealand keeps sinking though they are still in contention while Afghanistan are behind them. Pakistan would need a miracle to grab that spot.
South Africa is doing great in India World Cup I want them not to drop in the semi finals. Cricket world has witnessed many such past records of theirs. South Africa is an unstoppable team till the semi-final but I don't know why they get completely eliminated in the semi-final. At the 2015 Australia World Cup we saw every South African player on the ground crying. There is enough reason to cry, they played well throughout the tournament but in the semi finals they performed very poorly and they have been doing this since the past. We are definitely going to see something different from the South African side at the 2023 World Cup tournament. South Africa have come to India with a strong team, they must maintain their current performance and also aim to make it to the Elite Finals. Yeah, both the SA and the indian teams are the conquerors in this tournament and maybe we will see these two in the final match because they are the stronger than the other New Zealand and Australia. My team will be the Indian one in the final match India will win this tournament and there is no doubt that they also won the Asia Cup before the start of this tournament. But when we look at the table I think there is a chance for the Pakistani team to play a semifinal if Australia loses the match or newzeland If one of them loses the match they will clear the route for the Pakistan team but it seems very tough, they may not loss but somehow hope is always there and we will prayer for the Pakistani team to at least they play at the semifinal.
