They needed just 156 to win, and then fell short by just 1 run. And this time they had the county stars in their side such as Bas de Leede, Colin Ackermann and Timm van der Gugten.

Yes finally Bangladesh lost to Afghanistan in the third ODI match by a huge margin of 5 wickets, losing the third match to Afghanistan they also lost the ODI series against them. I would blame Bangladesh's loss in that match yesterday on the uncontrolled bowling and bad fielding by the Bangladeshi bowlers. Moreover, Bangladesh could not score many runs despite batting first. I was surprised to see Mehdi Hasan Miraj's batting, it seemed as if he was playing a test match. Bangladesh team did not do well in batting but they should have done well in bowling and fielding they also failed to do that which resulted in them losing the match to Afghanistan.

As the series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan is already over, Bangladesh should focus on their upcoming series. Because Bangladesh will face the West Indies in the upcoming series, they may have to face a tough test there as well.

Afghanistan usually wins matches based on the performance of the top order batsmen. Afghanistan's batsmen, especially the top order batsmen, perform well in almost every match. But the performance of top order batsmen for Bangladesh is not good at all especially Bangladesh opening batsman is not getting fit and the failure of opening batsman is suffering the entire team of Bangladesh.
While other countries usually win based on the performance of their top-order batsmen, Bangladesh wins based on the performance of their middle-order batsmen. If the middle order and lower order batsmen in Bangladesh did not perform well, then Bangladesh would not have been able to top the score of 150 runs in any match.

Unfortunately Bangladesh team again did not won tournament and today Afghanistan team won the match by 5 wickets and 10 balls. Afghanistan is a strong team and wining match and series by 2 wins. The 3rd match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh was played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Bangladesh team won the toss and elected to batting first. Bangladesh did not play well and made a record total runs for 244 and lost the match in bowling. Afghanistan team chased record total runs for 246 and beated Bangladesh. Afghanistan team played a fantastic match and also this tournament. Azmatullah Omarzai is a very talented player for Afghanistan team member. The best batting performance in the Afghanistan team was showed by Rahmanullah Gurbaz and he scored 101 runs and 120 balls hitting 5 fours and 7 sixs. I hope Bangladesh they will play better in the next test tournament which will start soon. Afghanistan showed excellent teamwork and skill on the field. Afghanistan eventually won the match. And Afghanistan won the series by 2-1. Today's match was the most competitive match of this series. If Azmatullah Omarzai and Mohammad Nabi did not stay at the crease till the end, Afghanistan team might not have been able to win the match. Afghanistan were under pressure after losing the wicket of Rahmanullah Gurbaz. But because of Omarzai and Nabi's innings, Afghanistan easily reached the victory target.

There is no doubt that the Bangladesh team managed to deliver a decent target today. However, the performance of Bangladeshi bowlers was not good in today's match. Shoriful in particular gave a lot of runs today. SHoriful gave 61 runs in 8.2 overs. Mustafiz took 2 wickets but gave away 56 runs in 9 overs and Miraz gave away 56 runs in 10 overs. Bangladesh managed to collect 244 runs. And considering the pitch, it can't be called a bad collection. Bangladeshi batsmen batted well enough. Mahmudullah missed the century by just 2 runs. It is unfortunate for Mahmudullah. Miraz managed to play a necessary innings of 66 runs. But Miraz batted very slowly. Miraz collected only 66 runs from 119 balls. He batted at only 55 strike rate. If Zakir Hossain and Jaker Ali could have batted a bit better, Bangladesh would have been able to collect 260+.

The target that Bangladesh has set is not that difficult and not going to be successful.
