Amazing what an impressive performance by UAE in the ACC Cup! Scoring 471 runs in an ODI is a remarkable feat, and its clear that Muhammad Waseem and Vriitya Aravind were in superb form with the bat. It's challenging for any team to chase such a massive total. After the second batting Singapore scored 119 runs in a loss of 4 wickets in 23 overs, A khan picked 2 important wickets for UAE. I think its a tough task ahead of them chasing 353 runs in the remaining 27 overs with a required run rate of 13. But in cricket anything is possible, and with 6 wickets in hand, Singapore still has a chance to mount a spirited comeback. Lets see how the rest of the match unfolds, as match of cricket never fails to surprise us with its unpredictability but its a difficult task for Singapore

I just watched the last over after getting the update that UAE batting is on fire. I don't know whether the matches played in ACC Cup are given status of ODIs or they are just simple 50 overs game.
If this game has ODI status then UAE just posted 3rd highest total in ODI by scoring 471 runs after winning the toss and elected to bat. There are three batsmen who scored major portion of runs, Muhammad Waseem 160 runs on 82 balls, Vriitya Aravind 174 on 133 and Aayan Afzal Khan 74 of 50 ball. 8 bowlers were used by Singapore but nothing worked there way.

Zimbabwe played the biggest challenge than Thailand in the third ODI match, and Zimbabwe were saved in the next three wickets. Kuwait defeated Bahrain by two wickets with 34 balls remaining in a thrilling ACC Premier League ODI match between the two teams. This was a great performance from Saudi Arabia. Very dominating performance from them as well. The target was not very big for Saudi Arabia to be honest. Qatar was unable to actually post a very good total on the board. The performance of Qatar was not good in this match. I have to say that the performance of Abdul Waheed was absolutely incredible in this match for Saudi Arabia. This was really easy on paper for Saudi Arabia.

The openers made a good start and the same turned the match to be an easy winning one by the 35^th over. If Saudi Arabia team had lost some early wickets the match could've went upto the last overs of the match. Abdul Waheed and Waqar Ul Hassan had a good partnership. Hope the players maintain consistency in their performance.

On the other match it was Kuwait that won against Bahrain. Bahrain managed to set a target of 255 runs and Kuwait chased it with little difficulty as there is fall of wickets at regular interval. Almost every player contributed little runs that helped the team win the match.

We have two ODIs today in ACC Men's Premier Cup:

Qatar vs Saudi
Bahrain vs kuwait

In first game Qatar gave a small target of 216 runs to Saudi which was chased easily by Saudi in 35th over. From Qatar side, Muhammad Tanveer was the highest runs scorer with 46 runs. Saudi have 118 runs openng stand between Muhammad Tanveer and Waqar. Tanveer scored 124 runs on just 108 balls and Waqar ul Hasan scored 55 runs on 55 balls.
Game between Kuwait and Bahrain was a bit interesting then the first one. Bahrain batting first gave a target of 255 runs which is chased by Kuwait in 45th over.

Saudi Arabian team performance looking excellent. Now the Saudi Arabian team is very much close to win. They need only 10 runs while I am writing this post. Qatar made only 216 runs and Saudi Arabia's team will achieve the target soon hope so with in 33 overs. And gave only two wickets. Well played Saudi Arabia.

The outstanding effort Saudi Arabia put forth against Qatar. The team performed remarkably well and it was obvious that they were focused on winning. It is very impressive that they were able to chase down Qatar 216 runs while only losing two wickets. Waqar ul Hassan and Abdul Waheed both put in outstanding performances scoring 54 runs in 54 balls and 126 runs in 104 balls respectively. What a fantastic combination by Waqar ul Hassan Cheesy

It is impossible to exaggerate how important they were to the team's success. They played with obvious passion and grit so it is not surprising that their efforts were successful. Congratulations to Saudi Arabia on their well earned victory and here's hoping they maintain their impressive play in upcoming matches.

Most of the new teams do not have native players and that is the main reason that they are not able to sustain the performance because only the native players will play in the true spirit of the country while the non-native players' only motive is to earn money by playing cricket for that country.

I do not know much about the origin of the players playing in the Nepal team ?
Are most of them Native players? If so, I can assume that Nepal will become one of the good teams who can give tough time to teams like Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Srilanka.

The ICC did their best in sabotaging Nepali cricket over the years. If you look at the funding structure, Nepal is receiving only 20% of the amount that they used to receive a decade ago. But now the Cricket Association of Nepal has become more or less self-sufficient. They are generating significant amount of revenues within Nepal and are not overdependent on the ICC. And among the full members, Nepal hasn't received support from anyone except Pakistan. But now the ICC doesn't have any choice other than to increase the funding, since their performance has been exceptional in the recent past.

The best thing about the century from Kushal Malla is the century coming from him at the right time. A big win and once again proved they are the best among the teams of ACC Men's Premier Cup 2023.

If they could keep the target anything between 270 I think they had a good chance. We all know that Oman was trying to score quickly and that’s why they lost quick wickets. If the score was less than 270, I think that pressure wouldn’t have been there. Great performance from Nepal in both batting and bowling.
