Shakib Al Hasan is the pride of Bangladesh. But even if good cricketers are born in Bangladesh, But they don't get the respect they deserve. I can remember two players in Bangladesh cricket one of them was Shakib Al Hasan and the other was Mohammad Ashraful Islam who was convicted of match fixing. Ashraful was the youngest cricketer to score a century in Test cricket. He might have done better in cricket if he had not been convicted of such a crime. Perhaps he was expected to return to the team after serving the punishment, but the Bangladesh Cricket Board did not accept him. In Bangladesh cricket, good players are born and again they are lost due to lack of proper nurturing.

Shakib Al Hassan is the perfect example of a great player being born in the wrong country. If he was playing for any other country, I believe his achievements would be a lot better even though it is already the best in the world. He is the only player who has been consistent throughout his whole career.

Bangladesh is really lucky to get a player like Shakib Al Hassan. It is also going to mean a lot to Shakib Al Hassan that Bangladesh was able to win the match against a big team like England on that day which he achieved all of these milestones.

If you are talking about the 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, then I agree. Bangladesh has already qualified, by being in the top-8. They still have 3 matches remaining, and are having 130 points. No matter how much they try, the bottom ranking teams (West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Ireland) will be able to overtake Bangladesh. And let's remember that the remaining three matches for Bangladesh are scheduled to be against one of the weakest teams in the league (Ireland, May 2023).

We have the series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka starting in two weeks from now. Now this is extremely crucial. In order to have a chance to qualify for the ODI World Cup, Sri Lanka needs to win at least 2 out of the 3 matches (and hope that South Africa lose most of their remaining matches). But then, South Africa has two matches remaining against Netherlands. 

Apart from Shakib Al Hasan winning Bangladesh in the last match against England, he also touched two other big milestones of his own. He became the first Bangladeshi to touch the milestone of 300 wickets in ODI cricket, which no Bangladeshi has done so far. And the highest number of four plus wickets and 50 plus runs in the same match is currently number one and second is Shahid Afridi. I think this achievement is not only for Shakib Al Hasan but for all cricket lovers.

Bangladesh had already qualified for the ODIWC. I am not sure why there is so much fuss about them losing the ODI series at home. They are currently ranked above Pakistan on the qualification points table after winning the last match against England because of NRR.

In comparison they are far better than Australia & Pakistan. Bilateral series doesn't make a big difference. In the end what matters the most is how well you can play in an ICC tournament. I am pretty much confident that this Bangladesh team will play much better than many big teams in the ODIWC.

@romero121 while it’s true that Bangladesh did lose the series, but I’m sure that this win will boost their confidence for future matches and hopefully they’ll continue to stun some more team’s this year. However if they fail to capitalise on this victory, then they’ll end up repeating the same story where we’ll feel that they’re winning the match but in the very end they’ll lose without putting in too much efforts.

Did anyone watched yesterday's match between Nepal and United Arab Emirates (ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2). It was an extremely crucial match for both the countries, and Nepal managed to win by a small margin. Initially it looked as if Nepal would struggle to get to a total of above 100, as they were at 68/5. But in the end Bhim Sharki with the help of the lower order batsmen took them to 229/8. UAE bowlers ran out of steam in the depth overs and struggled to get the tailenders out. In return, UAE was cruising comfortably. They were 94/1, 122/2 and 146/3 at different stages of the match. But unlike Nepal, their middle and lower order collapsed and in the end they got bundled out for just 187.

As I mentioned previously, this match was very crucial. Now Nepal has a one-point advantage over the UAE and both the teams have played 32 matches. 4 matches remain for both the teams (2 of them against each other, and 2 against Papua New Guinea). Who wins these matches will determine ICC fund allocation for the next 4 years.

BTW, I noticed something interesting yesterday. I was watching the match live on FanCode. The match was taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and there were close to 1,000 spectators. And despite the fact that the match was taking place in the UAE, I couldn't spot a single supporter of that team. All the spectators were Nepali. This shows the absurdity of creating a national team out of foreigners. No one supports such teams and the UAE players themselves may support India or Pakistan and may never bother about their own "national" team. This is such a shame.

Yes, Bangladesh missed its opportunity in the first ODI. Shakib Al Hasan have performed good in the second and the third match. If he had played well in the first match this could've been a winning series for Bangladesh. As in the previous post, the experience always matters and Shakib Al Hasan did it in the right way in this match. Teams always have the players to take position and perform when someone wasn't able to do the right thing. Maybe this isn't possible everytime, but the try could give good results and make the career good.

Bangladesh comeback in the third ODI is really commendable but one thing is that Bangladesh had many chances to win the match in the first ODI except for the second one. But the top-order batsmen failed completely on the day and depended on Nazmul Hasan Shanto and late Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam as Bangladesh managed to collect 209 runs in 47.2 overs on the day. England had a target of 210 runs but they had to bowl more than 48 overs to meet this target and the wicket went for 7 on the day. Like yesterday's match, if Bangladesh's total was above 240 runs, then the first match would have been won by Bangladesh. Although England won the ODI series between Bangladesh and England by 2-1, many congratulations and best wishes to the England cricket team.

Although I could not watch the second match due to work, this match was thoroughly enjoyable for me.  Bangladesh tried their best in this match and they have succeeded. And shakib Al Hassan once again proved why he is on the top ranking of allrounder. Seniors were not seen performing well in other matches, but in this match Shakib and Mushfiqur Rahim were seen performing well. And, among the juniors, Nazmul Hossain Shantu continuously performed well.  And the Bangladeshi bowlers also took great econ and wickets with the ball. Today's match was a good team work for Bangladesh. Wish they could have given such a performance earlier. Anyway congratulation to England team once again they won another ODI series with Bangladesh.

England were the last team who one ODI series in Bangladesh and now again they repeat this performance and won ODI series which is surely giving how things are going for them in last few years with having two different teams for REDBALL and WHITEBALL surely this is going to be good experience, and we will have this experiment from few other countries as well in near future but here Bangladesh team is also needed few changes in their system which helps them for having quality players for this format because right now they have small pool of players which is surely not going to help them for having positive results, and they can suffer badly because right now for having better results domestic setup is key with this is going to be good nursery for the all players which helping them for having good experience and techniques for international matches.

Bangladesh performance was totally surprising and brilliant today , they were good with batting and ballers did an amazing job and that's the reason they have won the match.
England today couldn't deal with Bangladesh ballers and got all out on 196 runs.

Bangladesh cricket team managed to give some consolation to the fans of Bangladesh cricket team by defeating England in the third match of the ODI series. However, it is a shame for the Bangladesh cricket team that the Bangladesh cricket team could not win the series on their own soil. Bangladesh played very well against England in today's match. If the Bangladesh cricket team could have done well in the previous two matches, they would have definitely won the series

Bangladesh's performance in the first match was quite good. But their luck was bad. Bangladesh might have won if they could score 20-30 more runs. Also, Bangladesh could have won the match if Dawid Malan's wicket was taken. However, Bangladesh's overall performance in the second ODI match was very poor. But Bangladesh did not make any mistakes in the third match. Shakib batted and bowled well. He scored 75 runs while also taking 4 wickets.

Bangladesh's performance in the ODI series was good. But I think England will dominate the T20 series and Bangladesh will win all the matches in the T20 format as Bangladesh is a weak team because their batsmen's performance is erratic. It is difficult for Bangladesh to win T20 matches against a team like England.

Bangladesh performed poorly in the second ODI match only. They played well in the first and 3rd ODI match. Bangladesh would have won the first match too if they scored 30 more runs. The condition of today's pitch was pretty similar to the first ODI pitch. Bangladesh lost an ODI series in their home ground after a long time. The last time they lost an ODI series in their home ground against England in 2016. Anyway, Bangladesh isn't a good team in T20 format. The chance is too low for them to win any T20 match in this series.

Yeh absolutely everyone taught that victorious will be england in this third and last match of this ODI series but Bangladesh shock every one by them by huge margin of 50 runs. Shakib-ul-hassan play a complete inning by dismissing 4 main player of England and also scoring 75 runs in crutial situation against england. I think such kind of performance were required from them in his previous which may change the result of this series but anyway it's great achievement for them too to save themselves from whitewash in this series.

In the third ODI match between Bangladesh vs England, Bangladesh entered the field against England with a whitewash at the Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. When he came down to bat first against England, he was able to accumulate 246 runs for 10 wickets in 48.5 overs on the scoreboard. The opening two batsmen were out early but the middle order handled the batting disaster very well. Shakib Al Hasan played the highest innings for the team with 75 (71). When the English came to bat with a target of 247 runs, the Bangladeshi bowlers put a lot of pressure on the England batsmen from the beginning. As Shakib Al Hasan is the best in batting today, Shakib Al Hasan is the best in bowling. Shakib bowled 10 overs today and took four valuable wickets for just 35 runs. As a result, Bangladesh came back brilliantly in this match and defeated the English by 50 runs.

In addition to winning this match, world number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has touched another milestone. He touched the milestone of 300 wickets in ODI cricket.  Congratulations to Shakib Al Hasan for achieving such a big milestone. He is the first Bangladeshi to take 300 wickets in ODI cricket.

Bangladesh vs England ODI match has been a really great game. Today's player of the match is all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib Al Hasan scored 75 runs from 71 balls and took 4 wickets in today's match. Which was very happy for Bangladesh. Total runs of Bangladesh in today's series are 246 and 10 wickets. Bangladesh won this match by a huge margin of 50 runs. England tried to play this match well today but they could not succeed despite their endless efforts. Adil Rashid won England's Player of the Series in today's match. However, despite winning the match, they could not save their series, it is a very sad thing for Bangladesh. However, in today's match, Bangladesh gave enough good game to the audience.

Bangladesh won the match by 50 runs finally. I would say Bangladesh performance at the home ground in ODI format is very much satisfactory. Shakib ul Hasan 75 (71) & 4/35 are the main reason why Bangladesh avoided a whitewash. But they need few more players like Shakib in there squad otherwise they will keep losing like this. They have got enough time in international cricket but still there overall performance is not satisfactory.

I thought I won't write any comments about Bangladesh VS England Series anymore. I thought Bangladesh will lose this match as well when I saw Top order batters like Liton Das and Tamim Iqbal fail again. That was bad but, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, and Shanto played well today. They could have scored more runs but lower-order batters failed again.

Congratulations Shakib Al Hasan for being the first Bangladeshi Bowler to take 300 International wickets in ODI. Also, for the leading half-century scorer (92) for Bangladesh. It was his and Bangladesh's day as well.
