Haha, thanks..  You helped me see my problem.

I had my .conf file named Offering.conf instead of offerings.conf.

Syncing again now..

That's exactly what I thought after I wrote my reply... Smiley

Heh, ya, I laughed at myself for that one.

If anyone is able to solve the mystery with the 1.7 client, post your findings..  I'm baffled..

It's possible its just the compiled windows version that has an issue and needs recompiled but I haven't tried the compiled MAC wallet or the linux wallet to know for sure.

I still haven't been able to get the new 1.7 client to download blocks though.

There seems to be some descrepency between Offering and Offeringcoin and I have been unable to figure out how to resolve it as of yet.

Version 1.6.2 should work with 144.76.91.109

My offerings.conf has:
addnode=108.61.170.22
addnode=144.76.91.109
addnode=54.89.21.44

Let it work for a while, sometimes it just needs time to connect...

No go.  Both of my clients are 'stuck' and won't download any blocks.

Is this new version compatible with the previous one 1.6.2 ?

I mean, can we use 1.6.2 alongside 1.7 ?

BTW, thanks vlad9vlad for helping out...

I am unable to get a block source connection atm.

addnode=144.76.91.109:20000

That is the node I see Cryptopia is connected too, however, I seem to be unable to get a connection to it with either the new client or the previous version at the moment.

I was able to connect and sync last week using v1.6.2.0-Bokrug however I updated to the new client and haven't been able to get a connection with either client yet since doing that.

I'll leave the client running and see if it connects.

For those of you interested, I have recently begun to update the Illuminatus! Psuedobanking coins from Blazr2. CHAO/Skidoo is complete and has been updated to CORE levels, Windows/Mac GUIs in this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/23-skidoo-chao-information-526224

I am planning to do OFF next. These coins are indisputably the most unique coins in the crypto-verse and that they are still alive after all these years is a testament to solid work and a good following. Nearly 2million blocks on OFF and still churning! Over the next few days, new Windows/Mac/Github builds for Offerings to come. Tharnak Shaag shall roll over us again my friends.

Don't know, have you tried splitting the transaction into smaller amounts?
