And, if the premine is to "pump & dump" they're pretty lousy at it. They should have done that when PXC was at 0.00035  Grin

Maybe they did a small part of their premined stash. Maybe they are smarter than the average idiot out there looking for a quick buck and knows dumping at Cryptsy is just a waste. Maybe they are trying to build services and make it useful to be millionaires (which I don't begrudge, btw). Maybe they are just laughing seeing all the dedicated fellows like you being hoodwinked. Maybe they are just in for the success and will donate everything and live under the bridge.

None of us know anything. You trust in them which is nice to see though.

I'll definitely bow to your superior knowledge on that one. Wink

"Yes Coins were premined which we are giving back to the community.  We have a 50 coin PXC houry freeroll a daily 1500 freeroll and a  25000 PXC freeroll Friday"

Here is the answer then. Took me 2 mins to search it. And yes its not my thread but i think im part of this community so have the right to write here, as you and as anybody else.

I don't play poker - so where does that leave me? I am not hating on PXC (and thanks for your 20 PXC giveaway too) but there should be better distribution of the giveaway.

1 million premined coins is huge. So far the team has been doing a good job and has been open about it; but they favouring only poker players sucks.

Here is the 150 coins giveaway for you. of course you could withdraw them.

Wow, so the premined coins are still 39% of the total? Shocked

Is there a tally somewhere of how these were spent/are earmarked to benefit the project?

I saw that, it's not a tally, it doesn't say how many coins have been or are to be spent on each thing. Coins that are justifiably premined often have such a thing in their OP. Openness and transparency is a good move if you've premined for good reasons.

I know the developers use the company-coins for freeroles, etc.
They also use them to close deals for coming applications.

They put a huge ammount of effort, time and support in this coin.
Even if they sell all their coins now (with low market volume) it wouldn't even pay for their expenses.

It assures me a bit that they have a lot of coins, if they want to earn back their investment, they have to make this coin big and that's great news for people holding a lot of PXC too Smiley

And looking at the latest development, like the merge of 3 coins for future development, shows real professionalism and a long term vision Smiley

At this time, I don't think they can disclose what the premine is used for (it would give away too much info about coming applications and deals) but I think they would specify it if you ask it again in about 1 or 2 months Smiley

I wouldn't have minded if PXC was junk like most the coins around now. But its not and so there should be a fair and transparent distribution.

51329 * 50 = 2566450

You are not so good at math...

51329 * 50 = 2,566,450 >> 1,52% of 168,000,000 coins.

Tongue TsuyokuNaritai's point was that PXC premined 1million coins, which is 39% of 2,566,450

"It's 168 million total coins, but how many of those are currently mined?"

Total coins versus currently mined. OMG. Learn to understand what you read. Is there anything in that question pointing the 1 million premine? NO.

I want to know to work out the market cap.

And no offense.

Great to hear PXC, WDC and FTC united their forces in development! More places coming to spend your coins!

I support this Smiley

I always supported FTC and PXC, don't have a lot of WDC (soon gonna change  Grin) but I like the way it's supported.

Guys BTC is going down really fast. I think the next wave of investors will come to BTC who are waiting to buy low.  BUt in all of the process our beloved PXCs price will rise really fast people will try to invest in some new coins. Just my thinking.

What do you think??

BTC goes down, alts go down.

NO not always. I have seen some alts going up when the last time BTC was going down. I mean the when it was falling. down from $250 to $90

Not true, Ive seen BTC go down while LTC goes up many times...  Mark my words, we will see LTC go way up on BTC, probably $25 while BTC still hovering at $100
