If you demand your refund per their online sales agreement, and they dont refund you within 30 days, simply sue them.

It is a case won almost 100% guaranteed and they will face additional legal costs.

My CCP 's PSU blew when i turned it on due to the red back plate not being attatched after being manhandled during shipping.

both backplates had come out during transit.

WARNING. open your rigs/desks and ensure everything is connected BEFORE you turn it on. now i will have to wait to see if i can just send the psu back for a refund or have to send the whole CCP desk back.

I know this was a noob maneuver to not open and check the thing but i didnt if opening it would void my warrenty. i couldnt find any info on the website and the desks were devoid of documentation. I followed the setup guide on the website to the letter.

I now have the 1th/s unit running at 1th/s and have been assured, by bitmine, that the HCP Platinum 1000w can produce 1500w of power if needed however i cannot find any documentation from Antec that verifys this. I dont know if turbo mode is useable.

i dont feel i have got value for my money.

also my order was #5071 with PSU's. I dont care if bitmine now know who i am, i just feel sorry for other people who may make noob mistakes like me. there should be an official forum for this sort of thing rather than relying on bitcointalk.

So i have mailed and asked for a Refund on my "Last week February" order.
Been told that i could ask for a refund on "10 May".

My fear is that they are going to ignore my request and send it anyway.

10th of May was last Saturday Smiley
if your order is still in Processing state then just send them another request for refund mail.
I was also in that same batch and got my request forwarded (to the acoounting or what they call it) today

@ atta2k15  1. tested the pool and its working (ghash) got 200mhs for about 30seconds when i first started and turned the machine on. I have also double and triple checked login id etc when i could get access to the web login interface. when the miner connected it registered on ghash at 100mhs and then nose dived. now no modules showing, no IP and after i got in contact to see if i wouldnt void my warrenty if i opened it up this is what i saw.

i know the pictures arent very clear but there is thermal paste and scratches EVERYWHERE. that red bit was completly off on the main 1TH/s unit and the CCP unit. then i notice a 1000w PSU in the bigger machine. Is that what i pid for? will that get 1.2TH/s~, i think not.

Well, you probably signed the second sheet?

You therefore agreed for a refund within 30 working days, not 30 calendar days as stated by the Online Terms of sale.

I have exchanged messages with Kerim today as well. He has promised to come back with a refund date.  As I am now 6 days over my refund days, I'm very interested in his response. (as will the lawyer I've lined up be).

But should it take an hour to come back with news? It's overdue. It's a BTC refund. Just do it.

I'm also now 6 days overdue for my refund...  I will be interested to see what date you are told.

Do you have a direct email address for Kerim? I emailed [email protected] twice last week but have still yet to receive a response.

They responded to all my emails previously but not this time round for some reason.

It is really strange that even BTC refunds are late
maybe their excuse is that their bank limits them Cheesy
for real I suspect that they have an different wallet with X amount of BTC they refund from and the BTC to that wallet comes from mining with customer hardware.
they still have almost 2000BTC in https://blockchain.info/address/1Cz1pTK8GxsJqdHQrFLWh77WwYsyqyDX3k and latest newest transaction is a week ago and the one before that is soon 2 weeks ago!

I was just on the phone talking to Kerim from Bitmine.
he cancelled my order and forwarded the refund form

in the end he then told me that I would get the refund within 30 days but some get it in less thatn 30 days and some get it after 30 days.

so he admitted that they can not keep the promised 30day refund limit they have given in the CPP!!

Are you happy about the difficulty in comparison to the difficulty in January?

I think this is not fair, that is why the extra CPP is delivered...

I think Bitmine has a lot to learn about how to do business and especially how to communicate to their customers but on this point they compensate the loss...

Well have you looked at the difficulty now and January?
Difference is only 400%+ and CPP gives you 50% more power.

I made an account to post here. my feb order of a 1th/s unit arrived today, with CCP of 600mh/s. Neither work.
WTF?!! My November (Jan delivery) 1 TH/s order arrived today without CCP.

However it is working perfectly up to 1.2 TH/s. Should I be happy or angry?

It depends...

Is the power supply powerful enough to continuously operate the miner at 1.2 TH/s?
Does the pool where you mine at show the 1.2 TH/s or is it only the miner itself that shows 1.2 TH/s?
Did you receive your order instead of getting your refund processed?
Are you happy about the difficulty in comparison to the difficulty in January?
Does your hardware reach 1,5 TH/s in turbo-mode?
Does your hardware reach ~0.5 W/GH/s in power-save mode (750 GH/s at 400 W)?

Delaying the delivery of additional hash rate that doesn't fit into the ordered device is compliant to the Terms of Sale, though...

Balanced, with bias to angriness?

both should boot and show the hashrate.

edited to add pics and vids

test manually if you can connect to the pool.
If you cannot login (wrong credentials or pool down) desk will not show any modules,
because cgminer will not start.

The 1Th/s unit registered 200mh/s when i powered it on the first time (it contains 5 modules I assume that were supposed to hash at 200mh/s each). I changed my pool info and the miner started mining up to 200mh/s then it went to 0 mh/s and has stayed there. Now nothing. No modules detected. No hashing. No info. CGminer crashing every other time I look at it in the web interface.

The CCP unit's display pannel is not showing any info. So i cant find the ip for the web interface and therefore cannot be sure that one works either. It lights up but nothing readable or even random pixels.

Im depressed as fuck now. I honestly dont know what to do.

The worst thing about this is last week kerim said I could have a cancellation last friday. within 30mins of that I had a UPS shipping date, had to wait a weekend for a faulty product that I didnt want, two days before the cancellation day.

I dont know if this is a UPS or bitmine problem but im so deflated, i dont think i can afford the postage to send them back. im also a bit more pissed off if it is a UPS problem as i paid for the "best"/most expensive/fastest service.

pics or it didnt happen.

sorry  1.5 th/s !!!! Grin

then I can tell you by others experience that it is not possible
at least not at the moment and I doubt it will never be
1.2-1.3th/s is possible but that can in the end result in lot of HW errors so that the real hashrate is still the same 1-1.1

Update from me.

Today I got the missing PSU (original 1000W, not enough power for 4 modules in moderate turbo) and the missing compensation module for my coindesk.
I set bitmine a 14-days timeframe expiring last week on tuesday. Excatly on that date bitmine send me the package with the needed parts.

So finally all went good for me and after hundreds of mails and a visit in switzerland (28-hour journey, 2350 km, 2 hours of sleep, 2 hours of visiting bitmine for pickup -> what a ride!), I'm happy that bitmine delivered me what I ordered.

But overall, I will never order there anything in the future, thats for sure!!!!

Wish you all the best getting your refunds or miners...
