Hey guys new posted in this thread, I've done a search and I don't have time to read through 130+ pages on here...

What are the access methods for these miners? I know they will have a web interface, but managing via web is insane, so I'm assuming there's another way... Do they support SSH (particularly with pubkey auth)? That would be an ideal scenario...

Thanks in advance for any help :-)

Hello,
I have technical problem with 1 TH/s Desk.
I received 2 1 TH/s Desks yesterday.
I'm using 2 1600W Lepa power supply.
Miners firstly turn off after 5 minutes, I saw, that 1 original fan was set to air flow in, one to air flow out. A set both fans to IN. So now it working for approximately 30 minutes, then one temperature sensor reach 50 degrees - miner shut down. I have miners in room, where is 21 degrees. So I add 2 fans at front side, now it working for 1 hour, but its not a lot.
So, where is a problem? I must put it to fridge?

This is the same issue we observed with the Platimax 1500W: some PCIe connectors share the same rail, with that you are feeding two hashing units over the same rail and overloading it - the Platimax uses to shut down after a while. Since the Lepa's PCIe pinout looks similar to that one, here is the correct way to set up your CCD with the chosen PSU:

1) take a look at bottom of datasheet page 2 (http://www.lepatek.com/files/LE_ProductBasic_eng/PB_File/G1600-EN.pdf)
2) notice that the distribution of the 6 12V rails is as follows: 12V1:MB, 12V2:MB, 12V3:PCIe1+4, 12V4:PCIe2, 12V5:PCIe5+6, 12V6:PCIe3
3) ensure that you connect 4 hashing units to PCIe connectors 1, 2 , 3, and 6 (left 4 and 5 unconnected)
4) buy or build yourself an adapter from MB-20 (12V1) or MB-16 (12V2) connector to PCIe and feed the 5th hashing unit with that

Bottom line: ensure to feed only one hashing unit through one 12V rail. Even if the PSU uses a common rail, powering two hashing units through a single rail will either cause voltage ripples or over-current protection shutting down the PSU.

Good luck

Thanks a lot Zefir, you have right!

I did it exactly how you said, I connected 4 hashing units to separate PCI-E rails and then I modified CPU power supply connector to PCI-E connector, now working stable!  Grin

Thank you very much again Smiley

can you make a small instructions for "us"... i think it whould be nice to know for many people...

As jseppeli said, I requested faster delivery without PSU, because they don't have enough powerful PSU (1500W) for 1 TH/s units. So I bought my own, but Bitmine will send me back some money for the PSU.

It is 1TH CCD he's got so I assume he requested faster delivery without PSU's. They have had or has shortage of PSU's to 1TH units.
As I understood when I ordered was that all the units would be possible to upgrade to 1TH without changing the PSU, but that is not the case...
If you have a 600GH unit you maybe can not even upgrade it to 800GH or at least not to 1TH!!

Thanks for the answer, but... if true... this would be silly Huh

Expandable CCD but you-need-to-replace-the-PSU, doesn't make sense to me.
Not even like if we were talking about overclocking (i.e. Turbo mode) here.

Giorgio, could you please clarify this?

Just a quick question here:

  • CoinCraft Desks come with a built-in PSU, right?
  • The built-in PSU is correctly sized for the machine, right?
  • So you replaced it for some reason, like the built-in PSU is 230V where you only have 110V?

Hello, well as I will get great miners and not just which is the most efficient pool since I started mine in BTCGuild and seems to give the expected performance and also appreciated if someone could tell me how to setup to undermine miners in Eligius

THANKS

Thank you for advice.
I'm using 3x 2 PCI cables on separate DC rails distribution.
I will turn over fans, add PCI cables and let you know.
Thank you again

i think the fans are in the back from the miner (on the backside) -> and the fan's blow out the air....

Exactly.

Hi xray, did you read the TOS you agreed to? They write clearly that you can't get refund till the order is 61 days late. They even interpretate their TOS in a way that you have to wait 71 days before you can get refund (we discussed this some time ago).
We all invested in a very young company and in their TOS they pointed out how late they might be, so we knew the risks.

Please don't spam. You won't get refunded because of spamming. I'm waiting too for my order, but it doesn't changes anything if we freak out about that.

Are you serious , Read the TOS , its nearly 6 months now and i aint seen an email never mind a miner.
I want a refund , sick of playing nice and quite , i asked for just my refund without 10% and still nothing
so defend there TOS all you like

The TOS does not start counting from when you paid.
Promised shipping date +10days +61days. so you still have to wait a couple of weeks

The business model of taking orders and money/btc upfront for something that is not yet produced is a piss poor way to conduct business and just begging for governments to come in and lay the smack down. Develop your fucking product first and then sell it. That is the way that business should be and has been conducted for 99.99% of products.

If you do not have starting capital then go fucking raise it from investors instead of customers.

Idiots.

Legally speaking, it appears as if bitmine really should have written how late they will be, not how late they might be.

Is there any customer of bitmine who has not had his device delivered with 50% CPP or at the last moment before refund?

I recieved my two coindesks exactly at 50% CPP...

That's why I say, the TOS should read like:

"we 100% will be late and deliver you 50% CPP ... we will NOT do everything in our power to avoid triggering the CPP. No, now that you have agreed to our TOS, we will abuse the system AGAINST YOU. To the fullest amount possible."

That is the truth, and I say that as a customer who is quite happy with the coindesk. The product works (although turbomode not), but I still feel punked, because I wouldn't have made an order late november if I knew that EVERYONE would get their devices 5+ months later !!!

Bitmine was never capable to deliver the devices in time, that's why I feel punked.

They proposed the CPP as some kind of security, but they let this security trigger for everyone of us. And that IS ABUSE, no matter how you put it.

I don't know the legal definition of this, but if you have a security, and have it trigger in 100% of the cases, then if one can prove that you have done this deliberately then I think this breaks some kind of law...

But I am just saying, I am not a lawyer, but it is very fishy what happened here.
