It be best you email them and get an official answer.

Thanks, but err no, I don't need to read more bullshit

the fact, parts of whatever the original board were have been ripped out

non-fact, i fail to see how its a preexisting board modded for the purpose of scamming or where there is evidence of something being ripped out.

Please look at the board again, specifically where they've glued both a coaxial antanne and rj45 port

and an Arabic friend attempting paraphrasing the most generic Arabic sentence a real Arabic speaker doesn't recognise.

is this the case, does it matter? non-point

Umm...this is...but...he...he's ****ing Arabic!! (Supposedly)

Not to mention 'staff' that he can afford to send on a jolly to China to oversee his outsourced pcb manufacture

il wait for the details, what would be wrong with having someone there to oversee the manufacture and testing?

Where's he got the money from?!...oh wait...the morons...still you reckon you can arrange Chinese visas from Lebanon at the drop of a hat?!

Man i really appreciate how much energy you invest into fighting off this BS. After all this is what makes Bitcoin look bad for people who want to join in and we all have to pay the price if we let BS artists like this, do what they wanna do. To everyone else if you are unsure about who is playing which role here, maybe checking out the post history of some people in here, will make it even more clear.....

AGAIN THIS IS OBVIOUS SCAM

Seriously guys? Seriously? CedarTec? I thought we've settled this debate long ago.

Imho its immoral to get scammed against all warnings so easily. I've no problem with people throwing away their money, but as the saying goes "an open door may tempt a saint" - and with your unbelievable stupidity in handling your own funds you tempt otherwise good people to get into the scam-game. Because obviously it is very easy to get some retards to sending irreversible transactions of remarkable value to complete anonymous strangers - all out of greed - even if its obvious that the excuses for delays and lack of evidence are just made up for buying time.

EpicFail Labs did us all a big disservice in looking like a scam all the time and then sending out a few units, since now those mentally less well-off will point at EpicFail Labs and say: "see, they delivered, so its probable that GXmining, CedarTec, PrimeAsic, etc will deliver soon, I'll be on the boat and you idiots will GET NOTHIN!" - thus attracting even more scammers.

I fully understand Phinnaeus Gage's rants and his frustration. I would have given up long ago.

I cant debate what i dont know for sure, all i can do is point out the no-facts, non-points and subjective interpretations.

for the very reason rather than go out their way to prove beyond any reasonable doubt they are a genuine and professional outfit, they have clearly gone out their way to provide inconsistent poorly produced 'evidence'

subjective interpretation for the reason but factual in that they have not gone out of their way to prove

The only thing possibly legitimate about this entire thing has been a hairy arm in shot, that and the fact he's potentially stolen enough funds to actually start legitimate r&d.

i wont debate your interpretation other then to sat it is only an interpretation and i believe all those things have been addressed or is going to be addressed.

would lophie like to confirm the arabic ambiguity and the likelihood of having been staged by a non arabic?

Phinnaeus Gage that is considered spam.

NO!

You won't debate my words because they are based on fact, unlike your delusional or potentially fraudulent ramblings which are based on hope or lies.

An interpretation is not merely an interpretation when it is plainly evident this is fraud and there are more facts against than for. Facts that rule out any possibility this is legitimate even if they tried to throw more BS your way and try to counter their inherent mistakes.

These 'things' aka 'glaring inconsistent gaps' are purposefully created with the full intention to lead the greedy and idiotic to justify and fill them in as hurriedly as possible and throw their cash away.

I'd rather someone with reverse engineering coding skills searched for a 'paper trail' that led us to convict these pricks.

I think it was quite obvious from the beginning who plays which role in thins thread Wink and yeah nobody did see the delays coming. From a sure 15th of May delivery to the 25th but with sure delays. Lol.

I dont know where you saw them speak about official delays yet. There probably will be tho.

I was quoting the forum rules because of all the , 'oh so gullible customers' or 'SCAM is SCAM obvious SCAM posts'. Instead you should be pointing out the obvious inconsistency's and problems with what they say.

Although i wouldn't be able to send them a reply with what you're pointing out, your really just saying, the cakes a lie no matter what until i taste the icing.

You've based your entire investment on a hairy arm and poorly rendered case design which he hasn't manufactured a week before shipment to you either.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending
Anybody who sends money to this company that hasn't provided a single name of who's behind it or an actual physical address is a fuckin' idiot.

I repeat, anybody who sends money to this company that hasn't provided a single name of who's behind it or an actual physical address is a fuckin' idiot.

And for those who road, or are still riding the short bus to school, anybody who sends money to this company that hasn't provided a single name of who's behind it or an actual physical address is a fuckin' idiot.

And for those whose English is not their native tongue:

Wer Geld sendet an diese Firma, die nicht einen einzigen Namen, wer dahinter steckt oder einer tatsächlichen physikalischen Adresse vorgesehen ist ein verdammter Idiot.

Toute personne qui envoie de l'argent à cette société qui n'a pas fourni un seul nom de qui est derrière elle ou une adresse physique réelle est un putain d'idiot.

Thanks for the update, they are definately good at responding to our emails, but we do need some definitive pictures and details of what they are doing, and when they'll receive their boards.  I would like to see pictures of the actual case structure because im sure their mockup is a little different than it actually is.  I'd like them to give us a set date on when they'll be providing more details instead of repeating that they are doing optimizations etc etc.  Hell if its a software optimization, i'll gladely take a 65ghs miner if it runs that stable for $999, and allow us to update the software for further optimizations.  But if its hardware related, I wouldnt even mind them sending me the assembled pcb and case and i'll piece it together myself and add my own water cooling system.  Im a computer tech by trade and have access to hundreds of heatsinks + water cooling systems that I could easily modify.  But anyways.. I'd like to see some regular daily updates on their progress, I think we deserve that.

I'm convinced that Anonymousg64 is no longer just 'a gullible customer' and almost certainly a shill especially after quoting the forum rule on harassment, there's been none, any negative talk has been constructive and entirely deserved. Without question this is a scam and the more we debate the more we fuel this con and the more time is given for monies to be collected. Anyone 'sitting on the fence' now is as much of an idiot as those purchasing.

In all cases, do no harass or stalk people. Keep your behavior civil and professional.  Harassment will be ruthlessly deleted or edited until it is a mockery of the poster (in all cases edited posts will be marked accordingly). If you are in doubt about a behavior it is probably harassment. Don't do it.  If you feel you need to investigate a party that has scammed you, take it to the scam accusation sub-forum.  Be the better man: Just because someone is a jerk that doesn't justify you becoming one.

Feel free to provide criticism but don't belabor it. Making the same point over and over again is spam. Making multiple threads about the same subject is spam. Spam will be ruthlessly deleted or edited until it is a mockery of the poster.  If you think important criticism is at risk of getting missed cooperate with other posters and write up a even handed summary of the issues.  Pointers to well written third party summaries may be stickied, if their material is reasonable and of general interest to custom hardware participants.
