my stratum mining pool shows a strange error message when the bgfminer tries to connect. MPOS does not show the miner as hashing either (but as connected)...

Hi,

hello, I'm mining a scrypt currency other than litecoin and it throws me the following details (Red letters). They are fine?

my configuration is

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://178.238.235.246:3032 -u MKWbNv911VHa1Tmzo8FkW1vmrBDSLBcWTQ -p x,d=128  -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=600
pause

You should add the #skipcbcheck to the parameter to the pool:

o stratum+tcp://178.238.235.246:3032#skipcbcheck

Thank you very much, it worked. regards

Tried running a few miners on another raspberry pi running raspian stretch, but I ran into an issue.  lsusb shows the driver loaded is cygnal and not silabs.  Is there a quick kernel patch that can be applied or do we have to compile the drivers from silabs and insert them?

Can someone please let me know why my posts offering to resell my Moonlanders keeps getting deleted or point to the right place where I can offer them for sale?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0 is the spot to sell miners

Is this only able to scrypt mine?, or could settings be tweaked to mine other hash algorithms?

.... Asking ....for a friend. Wink

Tell your friend I said scrypt only. Cheesy

Oh God.  Thank you for the updated software.  I hated having to restart the little buggers ever other hour.
If you had to restart them every other hour, maybe your mem-voltage it too low?! And/or the powerdraw is a bit too high for USB port that you are using? Every other hour is NOT normal! See also page 1. But agree, that software update is doing wonders!!

Yea this should help you guys if you want to push voltages (though I recommend pushing them down for power savings rather than the other way around). As long as they are not so unstable that they restart every few mins, the update restarts them within 10 seconds so hashrate loss is negligible even if they restart 1-2 times an hour.

Is there a 32bit Linux version of the driver?

Had intended reusing an old eeePC (1000H) as a no-budget, low energy alternative to an Rpi.

Have been getting an "cannot execute binary file: exec format error"

Upon further research:
Running Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS (lubuntu)
Arch: i686
File: ./bfgminer: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64,

Great job on the updated drivers.  My Moonlanders have been working much better without the random stops.   Grin

The Plugable 60W hub is less than half the price and works great with these sticks.

I sent mine back, wouldn't even run 2 of them at high frequencies, I am not the only one who has been displeased with it. The Anker  BTW is the same price as the Plugable from Amazon, have been able to run 2 with zero issues even at 954mhz. Tomorrow I will have 4 more sticks to test with it.

Not sure if instructions for Pi3 and Moonlander2 have been posted.
Anyway here my version  : https://steemit.com/raspberry/@qctechno/howto-install-futurebit-moonlander-2-usb-scrypt-miner-with-raspberrypi-3
Feel free to test instructions and correct mistakes if any

Great USB sticks, love them !

I'd just say that your hub there that you say supports 4 sticks, didn't even support 2 at decent speeds for me. Wouldn't recommend.

Note taken, thanks.
I will update with better recommendation

Edit: replaced for /ya9ho5y5]Anker 60W USB3 Hub
