I think both new and old coins have their own advantages and disadvantages. In fact it doesn't matter actually. The success of a certain crypto does not actually depends on how it was in the market but rather it depends on whether its useful or not.
I prefer to invest in old coins, because for me the benefits I get from investing in old coins are also very profitable, because old coins also have a good future.
when you buy the old coin, its profit will be more stable than when buying new coins, especially the risk will be greatly reduced. I bought new coins and their prices dropped a lot and that's my lesson It seems to me that it is most reasonable to pay attention to new coins because they are much more promising and thanks to them you can earn more money
Actually i would love to pay more attention to the old coins which i know were successful than haven to choose those who during the bear dropped drastically. Old coins which are listed on exchanges and some that were listed on coinmarketcap still stand the chance of be successful than the new-coins.
I guess the problem now is not really new or old but how solid the project is,some new project are actually doing well and have got great prospect.
While some old projects are struggling to stay alive and afloat. Some projects are even temporarily on hold waiting on the bull market to inject more life into them. It goes both ways for both old and new projects. The most important thing is to key into coins with great prospect, either old or new. 
The main difference is that old coins still have relevance. New coins today are not clear what and where they are traded. I do not know what will happen tomorrow, but as long as they have value you need to use it.
I guess it's all about usage, if new coins will offer real usage it can take space from this industry even those old coins already gaining lotsof supports, its a matter of how well new coin can deliver, its always been a competitions inside this market the more you offer and the'more progress you've done the more investors will follow.
According to me everybody prefers old coins as compare to new coins because old coins have good future & more profitable. I will always keep old coins and i also like good project is always and everybody need patient to earn good profit.

It's all about the risk. New coins carry a higher risk for a possible higher return.
Most of the old coins now are more potential compared to the new now. Because before the purposes of the coin was created to help people earn for us sake. But now the purposes of the new coin is to earn millions dollars the team and the founder of the coin so it wi affected the price because once the value increase the team who are held a lot of coins will sell their coins to make the value of the coin dump.
-There is a possibility that altcoin can reach this price, but with a note that the price of Bitcoin also rises very high because the altcoin price will always follow the price of Bitcoin.

So I don't know what criteria you used to work out these definitions about old coins and new coins, but I need to disagree with you because everything after 2015 is considered new coins. 2015 was a time when Bitcoin cost $200 and up to that time there had been 3 cycles of bear-bull markets.
I prefer to invest in old coins, because for me the benefits I get from investing in old coins are also very profitable, because old coins also have a good future.
I agree the old coins already created for themselves a Foundation , and hardly they will be able to withdraw from the market , but I would certainly would take both old and new but would make a higher percentage on old

The market began to move even though it was not too significant. Some Ico projects have also achieved good prices when listing on the market, most of them have only reached 25-50% of ICo prices. For me this is pretty good progress, I am starting to be optimistic that after this the market will improve.2. 1. It could be, everything can happen, of course depending on each project and market acceptance

I like good project only not depended on Coin .A good project is always to became profitable .
Not necessarily good projects will be profitable, I prefer quality and potential projects, as well as potential coins that will have a future. So if a good project without quality is also useless, it does look good but not having a future is also useless. Good projects, quality, potential and have a future that will survive. A good project and having quality coins will have a future.
