You guys are adorable using words like "invest" and "funds". You bought a little password on the internet and threw way too much money at something experimental and are sad that after few months the developers aren't done so you can sell your little passwords for higher cost.

It's one thing to believe in the good of others. It's another to turn a blind eye when you're being scammed. I don't like to call people scammers, but I don't think that the Rise development team is working hard enough for the community. What happened to the frequent updates by Risegal? How about updates on Slack? A buy wall? And the continuing devaluation? All of those are serious red flags.
Well the discussion is not about if we have been scammed but about how much. Some ppl around here say that legal actions should be left out of crypto. This was not just a bad investment, RISE always was a deliberate attempt to scam money out of our pockets. We know that for sure by now; so lets deal with it. The ulterior motives behind an ico scam is the fact that most people who invest in crypto dont want anyone to know about it. I dont have a problem to go public since im paying my taxes...

Yes, i have contacted a Portland based law agency which has proven to be familiar with digital assets. We will present our case from two angles:
1. It is our understanding, that the initial coin offering has violated applicable transparency laws as stated by FDIC Regulation act 6500 (See https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.15239823 for further details):

Since RISE has confirmed, that they are unable to proceed with the objectives presented before the start of the crowd sale we are not going to accept an implementation based on a revised whitepaper.
Actually we also got a third angle which will not be disclosed just yet since it might be compromised by further actions of the RISE team.
Depending on in- or outside court settlement i expect to lose about 50 percent of my investment to cover legal fees. Would be a lot easier if more people would join in, since we could go class action and i wouldnt have to cover for legal fees upfront...
