DEV TEAM ACTIVITIES THIS WEEK

The primary activities of the dev team this week are three-fold:
1) To further the development of the SDKs for RISE, Nathan has been making tremendous progress with those.
2) Getting the delegates back into the hands of the community. Richard built a tool to rapidly spin up 101 nodes on a cloud provider which he has been using for the purpose of effectively testing and benchmarking the new delegate system against a full network to determine optimal node specs and parameters.
3) Gerlof is redesigning the rise.vision main website to bring it up to post-ico status and make it look absolutely great.

UPCOMING EVENT

Exclusive Q & A event with our Developers Team is coming up the first week of September. If you have a question you would like to see answered personally and directly by our developers then don't miss this opportunity. Make sure to post your question at the official RISE forum (link below):

Gambling DAPP will be a good feature too.
Hi @target, why not submit your idea to the RISE Idea Box thread, here's the link:
http://forum.rise.vision/topic/16/rise-idea-box-submit-your-idea-to-the-rise-team-and-the-community

For anyone else who has some good ideas for a RISE DAPP, we'd like to hear them and discuss their feasibility on our forum and maybe your idea will become reality in the near future.

Price doesn't seem to climb yet. The team indeed have made us updated every now and then.

its good to hear, but do you have deadline?

Hi @violet.project, they will be released when they are ready and, while we don't commit to any fixed due dates, what I can say is that we are nearing the end of the issues with the Delegate system, which will get us back on track with releasing the hosting platform, as well as the SDKs over the coming few weeks.

After that we can get to work on the really fun things, like the DAPP builder and the Smart Contract builder.

Hope this stuff will make the price go up in the end. we've been waiting for so long already and i guess its time to tell the world about RISE that shall rise!

Could not find links to the SDKs on the main site or forums, where would these and related documentation be available at?

Hi @blackhawk101, links to the documentation for the SDKs will be published in the official RISE forum at http://forum.rise.vision as soon as they are released. The RISE forum is also the best place to ask anything related to RISE and to be the first to get DEV TEAM updates.

Yes, good news coming. We also have a new person who is going to stay active in the forum here to help communicate a bit better. We're getting her set up now.

As for trading, I don't think people would like it too much if the devs could control the price of our own coin. That would be manipulation at its best. However, we need to do a better job communicating to the community which is definitely a full time job. So we have a good friend, Latasha, who will be assisting us with this.

what was the good news again??

no good news !

Good to hear, but will you decrease the inflation rate soon? It is more 2M added to the 100M, which should be considered the total supply before ICO ended.

Hey y'all - check this out:

https://news.bitcoin.com/four-banks-create-new-digital-currency/

Looks like Citibank, Goldman Sachs, and other banks are getting involved in the crypto coin game. Do you think this will affect btc price? Would getting big banks in on the game help with mass adoption?

I am giving it one Mr.Robot reference

Good user 26, new episode playing today btw. If the banks are getting into crypto it's probably centralized crap molded to fit their agenda and nothing compared to Bitcoin or Rise.

I would agree with that. It's pretty interesting to watch people trailblaze the way for something that WILL become mainstream in the near future. And to watch the banks scramble when they realize where things are going.
