It's gotten very quiet in here and on the exchange front.  The calm before the storm perhaps?

I didn't expect to see this dip down sub 5000 again after the run up to 20K+ a couple of weeks ago.

I think It's because of the lack of news and discussion from the devs who are working hard with developing additional features to highlight this coin from another alts. Also people are still sceptical about this Casino affiliate program, until it's officially launched. http://casinocoinsites.com/ still says Feb, so it might happen any day.

It has been sad times for CSC, but perhaps the current situation is telling us to buy more CSC while you still can since it might definitely rise back up in price once Prypto releases the cards. Now it is the chance to get in and grab some CSC for when the next storm comes, you would make a decent profit.  Smiley

We're working on some stuff. Will be releasing something new in a week or so. Andre is also pretty busy with his mobile wallet dev.

Those are wonderful news. I wonder when will we get the chance to get some Prypto cards? I'm just eager to get one and spread the word of CSC to my friends.

I hope that 1 CSC would be equal to $1 USD real soon.  Smiley

Say, I wouldn't be bad to get a CSC debit card to spend it in stores wherever MasterCard or Visa is accepted. That would definitely be a great way for CSC mainstream use. Just a suggestion  Roll Eyes

Wonderful, looking forward to the news. Hope the mobile wallet is coming out soon also, would make things a bit easier. In the meantime seems the price is moving down again, i toke this time to fill up my bag a bit more but i got a feeling we might see a bit lower as some people might exit for another popular coin for the moment. The road to 1$ seems so long but after what happened with DCR i have to say it is possible lol.

I agree. DCR has been pumped over the last days since its launch and now it is one of the most popular alt coins yet. Price have been increasing fast, but in contrast to CSC it just keeps going down. However, it would be ideal to take advantage of this situation to buy more CSC for the hopes of it getting to the $1 mark. But I think that first Prypto should release CSC cards in order for price to begin moving upward. I am very patient with this.  Smiley

BTW, I just chatted with a representative form Kraken to ask if they would be willing to accept the coin. They were extremely helpful and offered that if I write up a summary of the opportunity and submit it to them, they would forward it to their business development department.

Personally, I think Kraken would be capable of handling the coin once we obtain a large marketcap like $33m. At least now, this hopefully gets this on their radar.

Do You have any feedback from Kraken?

Nothing yet. A higher marketcap will bring more attention

I'm quoting Andre's request for community about the new mobile wallet from the beginning of the year. Community has grown and maybe someone has skills and time to help out and be part of the CSC devs.

Work is going steadily on the walletserver/mobile clients. Let me explain a bit what i am doing, ... i am extending the current C++ casinocoin core sourcecode to make it possible to use the current blockchain code and be able to plugin to that any wallet file that is needed. I want to have the user to decide if they want to leave the wallet file on the server, the client, or both. That way we move the blockchain away from the actual wallet and a user can potentially use the same wallet on a desktop client, browser or mobile client. To make this work i have to ensure that the wallet code is capable of high load with a high concurrent wallet count and stays threadsave and stable. The communication with the clients will be through message queues (RabbitMQ) and all security and rest services will be build on the WSO2 stack. Using the message queues will also help masquerade the actual walletserver location from the clients. Clients will include user accounts, OAuth and 2FA, probably with an added extra personal security token on top of that. As you can see, a lot of work and i am still targeting Q1 but this is by no means a hard deadline ....

Currently i am the only developer for Casinocoin, ... mabe Felix will help out a bit more on some features for the wallet but still it would be nice if there was some more help from the community on the development side of things, ... my workqueue is kind of big at the moment. If anybody has C++/Qt or mobile development experience with Ionic/Cordova/AngularJS and is willing to spent some time on development please contact me.

Question...

This is a cryptsy deposit address...how can it be negative?!

http://csc.blockexp.info/address/CcGSF9PBs8zfFicAfbErbHu2de6TXznZHD

Yeah they can be negative. It's usually the block explorer that has an issue. Also look at the total coins. Notice it's a fractional number. lol

http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/20467/can-an-address-have-negative-balance

looks like http://csc.blockexp.info/address/CcGSF9PBs8zfFicAfbErbHu2de6TXznZHD is missing 5 transactions before 08-04-2013

http://csc-abe.blockexp.info/address/CcGSF9PBs8zfFicAfbErbHu2de6TXznZHD

I'll get a second iquidus explorer up and do a full re-scan

--Edit Looks like there is a 15K block difference between the explorers. I'll have a new one up in about 30 hours

Awesome, thank you!

Ok it took a bit longer to re-index the database

But is is within a few 100 coins from csc-abe.blockexp.info

Also http://csc.blockexp.info/markets/alcurex alcurEX market stats are online

BUT If anyone is design/graphic oriented and wants to throw together a homepage mockup for the website I would be willing to take some suggestions on changes/additions and put them in place when I get my week off this month.

Something else than Prypto's CSC affiliate program?

Yep. This is something separate, but related. I can't really go into details, but it should be an interesting way to create some more value for the CSC blockchain.

Yeah it's unfortunate, but he really is Dutch. It's not his fault really. Sometimes things just go that way if you know what I mean. I'm sure he's sorry for the whole tulips, wooden shoes, and windmills horror that was unleashed on the world. I won't even get into the whole strange Argentinian steakhouse thing. Blech... Blech.... Cough....

scrypt coins are a pain in the ass for OSX... But if you want a successful coin then its a must.
Is it andrey from Germany? ?

You are very right we NEED a mac OSX wallet. If I can't get this done and Andre does not have enough time I'll find someone to help.
I'm sure one of my profs or TA's could help no problem I just want to try and get it myself before asking for help.
