I am pretty firm ICX can go up more, it is price around $0.30+- now
Hitting $1 is pretty possible judging from the recent movement

It is really bothering us thinking for a single coin to invest especially when we are looking for altcoins. It is certainly okay if we just invest Bitcoin alone but thinking for an altcoin to do the possible...truly the risk is high compared to having more than 2 coins to invest.

And you are right, better to spread it. Keeping more BTC is more profitable rather than to have altcoins. I suppose to think why OP has been thinking a single altcoin to invest making him sacrifice his BTC just for this.
true, it's better to just hold bitcoin and buy it again at cheap prices it's better in my opinion because bitcoin is the parent of all altcoin, but if you really believe your decision is good please do it because everyone has their respective strategies to manage their money

What about to hold all of this 0.2 BTC?
To be honest, it is too risky to invest in other altcoins especially the ones who existed on Top 100.  In addition to that, I actually focus just on few cryptocurrencies such as, Bitcoin sv, Cardano, Tether, Bitcoin cash, Ethereum and of course the king Bitcoin.
I advise you to keep 0.1 BTC and invest the other value into Ethereum (like,  0.06 Btc )and Bitcoin sv( like,0.04 Btc ).

Diversification is probably the first  rule of investment. If you put too much of your money into one thing that will result with you either winning too much or maybe lose too much as well. It is a risk that you do not need to take and if you have the chance you should diversify your portfolio whenever you can. I personally feel like even 100% crypto is not good like some other people and invest into multiple sectors.

I literally own stocks from a cement company because it pays a decent dividend for what I put in and I will make up for the investment in 4 years plus would be still holding their stocks if it continues like this (been an investor for 2 years now of course). Long story short diversify as much as you can into as many things as you can.

Dont put your money in one "bucket". Why you invest in altcoin? actually bitcoin is still best choice.
Don't put money into a bucket? Do you understand what it means? If you want to make sense of it, you should invest in many different altcoins with bitcoin. Bitcoin investment is the first choice, but besides that we should also invest in the top altcoins to make a profit.
I understand the meaning of that statement but I can only agree half when nothing is absolutely right or absolutely wrong, sometimes we invest in a valuable place, our guarantee will be higher in the future, it is still better than dividing the capital into many places with no guarantees, the best possible experiment is bitcoin, investing in bitcoin until now shows that the level of risk and loss is low. While the top altcoins can be very profitable but the risk ratio is high, I cannot guarantee that I can be safe when participating in altcoins, focusing on a bucket can be true or false depending on each case and goal

If you're ready to invest your 0.2 btc to invest in altcoins then you may think about to invest in ethereum and bnb I think these two well established coins can be a profitable option for you but before investing in these coins it's really necessary for you to do some analysis hopefully you will take right decision.

It looks like Ethereum hardfork has succeeded and everything is going according to plan. If I had to choose only one altcoin, I would choose Ethereum. ETH has lost much more value over two years than BTC, so in my opinion it has the greatest potential for growth. In addition, it is the most popular altcoin, so when the bull run starts, it will definitely be the first in the order after Bitcoin to reach ATH.

Do you want short term or long term? I might suggest altcoin Ethereum and BNB because both can be traded in the short term and long term.
These coins have been talked about a lot during this time and you should be looking for better options as the current market has a lot of good coins for you. In fact, I am starting to spend time researching coins that are outside top 200 because there will be a lot of investors ignore and if I'm lucky I will find a good coin for long-term investment.

It was hard to choose a altcoins that we want to invest for now.
If we look at the market some of altcoins are not increasing the prices so much, Ill think it will take to long that some altcoins be increase the price. And for me if we want some altcoins to invest must pick those in the top 20 list.

If I have a capital of 0.2 BTC I will certainly invest in Binance Coin (BNB). Because in my opinion BNB is the best altcoins that can provide
a large profit. As we know BNB developers are very solid and always active in making projects in binance exchanges. This is what made BNB's
performance so good for 2020. I am sure that binance is one the best exchanges in the world of cryptocurrency will have a positive effect on
BNB price increases in the near future. Do not need to hesitate to invest in BNB.

0.2 BTC in hand.. One Altcoin to invest? Please share your thoughts.
There are so many altcoins and most of them are really good but it I’m going to choose I will go for ETH because I know its the best altcoin among the rest and ETH is already proven and tested. If you’re going to invest all-in, then its better to choose the best altcoin and don’t ever choose the new one because the risk is really high.

But ETH has a huge capitalization and, to some extent, it moves like bitcoin (a little more volatile). On the other hand, if we are talking about long-term investments, then most likely ETH will grow stronger than bitcoin and than most top alts. Especially with the final transition to ETH2.

Now you can invest in almost any top alt, because now they move almost equally in the market. But in the long run, I would choose to invest in ETH.

Maybe it doesn’t make much sense to hold bitcoin in this situation since the amount is small? Even if the price grows 10 times (which is unrealistic), this will not change anything fundamentally. Maybe it makes sense to play with margin trading in this case?

Could be good. However, there are also huge risks. You probably know how risky margin trading is. You must have good knowledge of trading in order to do margin trading. If he does not do any kind of analysis, then one trade can cause all his funds to be liquidated. OP did not mention how much knowledge he had about trading. So I don't think it would be okay to give him advice on something random.

Yes, I agree with you: before you do something, you need to understand this well and understand all the risks. And to understand the main difference: with a hodl liquidation is impossible, but with margin trading it is very likely.
If we believe in growth, then it is very reasonable to take the long position with x3 leverage. We believe in growth, but do not believe that bitcoin will drop to 3,000 (the approximate liquidation price in this version). And if our faith is confirmed in the end, then we will earn x3 compared to a simple hodl.

I agree with you. If you understand the system you are talking about, you should have knowledge of trading. Many people haven’t this knowledge. But people are so greedy they open positions 20-25x or even 100x  Grin which results are very bad. They become rekt. Good traders do not trade with super high leverage. 3x leverage enough for make a good trade.

0.2 BTC in hand.. One Altcoin to invest? Please share your thoughts.

It's hard to advise someone to invest in an altcoin. You may know that investing in altcoin is risky. Considering the current market situation, it is advisable to hold Bitcoin now. Why don't you hold your Bitcoin? Yes, now the price of Bitcoin is a little lower now but it is the right time to hold your Bitcoin. Because now, altcoin can go down with the Bitcoin price movement.
