Why choose only one alt-coin?
Wouldn't it be more safe to spread it out to lessen the risk?
For me I would choose ETH,NEO and XRP choose only those who are the best and have a good team and developer.

ETH if you want relative safety, XRP if you can handle a bit more risk. Both are superb coins, and will remain top alts. And both look very under priced at the moment.
well XRP seems also good but since it is a centralized currency there is always a doubt from the investors that hates centralization.

i have only 2 recommendations and those are Ripple and Ethereum mate because these two is the only currencies that can keep close to Bitcoins Movement and they are both even growing High when Pumping market compared to BTC.you can choose many crypto but there is only 2 best options if you are aiming to make safe and secured this halving year.Ripple being Centralized currency(as what many says) shows us before how much this can grow and same as Ethreum that make so much Hype just after Bitcoin in 2017,so that is why i believe in these 2 and keeping them for long time now. 
In my opinion, for one altcoin I prefer eth to invest and hold btc for a greater opportunity to earn profit. Your funds is huge, although price decrease on btc there’s a big chance to see it increasing. If in doubt just choose altcoin in top CMC these may give you a return of profit so invest your money wisely.
Ethereum is much better than anyother altcoin and i agree with this opinion. Just try to divided it into some parts of promising altcoin. In this time i think that tezos is also a good coin too. You can buy ethereum or xrp that are the coins that good to hold. In that 0.2btc is in your hand buy ether and hold it because this is the second coins better to hold and better to invest you bitcoin. So buy ether before the price will not goes up. You can hold it for a long time. ~
op should decide on his own after series of meditations! LOL but seriously, he needs to decide it on his own as it is his money, no regrets or blaming if it is his own decision. he can check others opinions but it will serve only as a guide.
I like the word "meditations" right there! Lol. He should decide of course, what we can do for him is to give out insights about the token/coin that we can "shill" or maybe, suggest with him. I think suggestions for higher ranks know a lot about a lot of projects in the market so better choose one then make some research, for me, if I will give him a coin to invest in, I rather hold BTC, ETH, Bnb, and no need to explain why.
you already have 0.2btc in your hand , why not hold it instead of looking for altcoin .
i think you will be safe that way and you can also earn better that way than seeking for unsure suggestions . you never know what if its already a scammer that recomend you to invest on thier coin . and your only looking for one alt coin ? i think 0.2btc is too huge for just one alt but it could be more better and safer if you allocate lower than that or you could diversify for 4 to 5 kinds if ever your still willing to convert that 0.2btc to alts

Agree! Should do his own research and assessment. Do not trust someone else's opinion because most of them have vested interest on what they are suggesting. And yes, should diversify your portfolio, even if your money is not that much, you can still distribute it to lessen the risk of losing all your money.

I will suggest you best altcoin of the year CHAINLINK/ LINK, i predict if bullish come it can reach another all time high again, this LINK have massive development for real use

Mate, it's always good to focus on the top alts rather than focusing on the new one, right now the market is bleeding and yes buying alts right now is a good thought but make sure you will plan it for long-term.

Theres no such thing about safe investment yet even bitcoin do have some risk.We can say that it is lesser when it comes to risk factor yet we know that these coins are established ones
or being supported by the community so we can at least say that it is much more safer if we do stick on whats being recommend or preferred by many.
Answering op question then that 0.2 btc of your would be more worth if you do just simply hold it on btc form at least but if you do really need to choose up then i would suggest picking

well thats a good point but why not just give him specific currency like what i did.but yes it can be BNB or XRP but i will still stake for ETH.
If I had to chose just one coin for the rest of my life and not invest in anything else it would definitely be ethereum. It is first of all king of all altcoins which makes it very valuable, it is ranked second only losing to bitcoin and it has huge volume as well because in the recent years pairs with eth-pair got a lot more attention as well.
However, not only the things that has already happened for ethereum that matters but also things that will happen to etheruem are very important as well, between the hard forks and improvements to proof of stake change it will probably get more and more attention as well and that is exactly why I think ethereum would be a perfect candidate. This doesn't mean I suggest anyone buying just one altcoin tho, you should pick multiple ones.

It is best to buy some Matic or FET. I think this is one of the 2 best altcoins in this market and its price is quite low for you to invest. Use your 0.2 BTC and buy and hold them for a few months, you will surely get some huge profits from this altcoin.

That idea if yours might be applicable on bitcoin all alone based on the experience I had. The experience I had was not good enough as I've beem through lot of pressures seeing my coins goes down badly. I regret holding altcoins all alone and yet I've lost 50% of my capital last 2018 and 2019. Pulling all eggs in one basket isn't practical, so let's make some certain moves and choose different coins with potential in order to have many options.

If I were you, I will just hold that 0.2 Bitcoin and just wait until the price gets better. Through that, you'll surely have the guarantee of gaining a good profit without risking your funds with altcoins especially now that almost altcoins have just turned red. If you really want to invest with altcoins, you better choose top coins with high potential.
