Didn't take long for kucoin to catch up then

they are normally pretty on the ball, never had any issues with using them. Kucoin is my exchange of choice when it comes to onion.
Cryptopia is having a lot of issues with withdrawals and deposits as it's taking a lot of time, unfortunately. Kucoin is far better and more secure.

I agree, We encountered some issues on Cryptopia this past month/s, Kucoin is the best exchange we have right now to buy some Onions Cheesy But I hope some of our exchange will fix the problems/issues we have to them Smiley

Never used cryptopia, most of my use has been stocks.exchange or kucoin. I had a lot of issues with stocks so try not to use them now if i have other options. Withdrawals just seem to take an age on there.

Although Cryptopia have had many problems in the past, lately they're getting on track and were among the first exchanges to adapt to the forthcoming hard fork, so I must stick up for them  Smiley !

Is anyone sticking with old wallets ?
Because I got mined some Onion yesterday and then just disappeared even if I update the nodes
.
I'm not.

In this case it is definitely in the best interest of the DO network that we upgrade to the newest wallet release as soon as we are able to.

Also, if you are staking on an earlier version of the wallet there is no guarantee that any Onion you mine will be recognized by the network.

Even I have upgraded already, and that's saying something:

Updating my wallet now... Core wallets are getting bigger and bigger

Hello everybody!

As with previous versions, I've made an AppImage of the Linux QT wallet 1.6.0, so you can try the new Linux wallet without compiling yourself. All you need to do is execute the AppImage and there you go!

As this is NOT an official compilation I won't provide the direct link here, but rather point to the thread in DeepOnion community where I explain how to get it and check it's free of malware:

https://deeponion.org/community/threads/tutorial-packaging-deeponion-qt-wallet-with-appimage.29042/

Have fun Wink !

Nice, thank you thxminer!

If you're 846 pages in and still don't know how DeepOnion works you're in trouble Tongue
but seriously, good thread. a lot of info and fun stuff too.

but that's for the newbies and people who have just learned about deeponion :-)

ancient romans said "repetita iuvant" that means "repeat helps"

and they knwo their stuff !

Nice quote that of the Romans! They also said "Bis repetita non placent"  Smiley but I agree with you that more information in this thread is better.

Yes, Cryptopia don't seem to get these problems solved. They said a bit ago that they solved the problems but in fact, it seems they are still there :/
That's right! the withdrawals started going smoothly few days and then the same problems occur again now. stay away from cryptopia
I have withdrawn 0.05 btc today and it was instant.
BTC and Doge withdrawals are working fine. The problem is about some alts like DeepOnion and Monk.

Well it's a matter of waiting, I love buying onions in Kucoin, it's much quicker and easier, I trust that they will fix the problem quickly. Cheesy

Glad to hear that Kucoin got their wallet synced. I never actually enjoyed being on an exchange as much as Kucoin. Their interface is very fast and responsive and leaving the trading page on doesn't seem to use a lot of internet data.

Suppose a lot of people will read the first page or two then skip to the last page. May help a few of the newbies.
