From what I see the Airdrop just made the Onion price go down , wich is good for buyers. But I dont understand how some of you said that this Airdrop will make the price rise , how can sending free coins into the market can possibly make the price go up?
about the price going down: there is a no move rule while the airdrops are in progress - that means, lower trade on exchanges because everyone is holding their coins, and some people sell what they got from the airdrop right after so they claim their profits..so sometimes you have a instant sell off which can drive the price down a little bit
now, on the other hand, it can make the price go up because more people will see how cool these airdrops are, and they will want to acquire more onions so they can get more via airdrops (the more you have the more you will get)
for old/bigger players, investing few dozens of btc is nothing, and it can move the price up
