Interesting time for now. Many people go to the BTC and it is growing literally on the eyes. Another good time to pick a cheap $ONION.

DeepOnion airdrop is truly something for the community. It is a win win situation for both the project and the users. I am glad when I increase my hodling by that Wink

I was of the opinion that airdrops came to an end a while ago but there are more to come?
These are VoteCentral airdrops, the 40 week distribution has ended in April...

And the VoteCentral airdrops are also taking place several times and what is the qualification requirement for those?

Yep, strange to see a solely Bitcoin run, haven't really seen that in a while but I do expect the Altcoins to start catching up soon. Definitely making me re-evaluate the strength of BTC.

I am a fan of Deeponion
You can check on page 5 of this thread some resources and learn more about lightning network, mimblewimble and RSK smartcontracts
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/votecentral-new-proposal-to-modernize-deeponion-codebase.39372/page-5

Very interesting! Thank you. Today I learned something new. However, I had a mix feeling about this. We drop pos and sa? Hmmm. Makes me think.
Once again, many got the wrong idea. Porting SA and PoS might be complicated with a lot of code and might take a lot of time, so if porting is not a reasonable solution, SA and PoS will be replaced with similar features. The community will be updated as soon as the devs decide what is viable.

They are doing their best to make the project better not to worse it. Cheesy Trust the process. All DeepOnion real supporters know that. All so-called supporters dump $ONIONs
Well, you are right after all but don't get me wrong. We always think positively for DeepOnion. That's why I have mix feeling because I always want the project became greater.

Voted yes... this is great move

Indeed, I also voted yes on this! A proposal that makes this project even more powerful is essential.

I see alot of people carrying the signature of DeepOnion,  is their any signature campaign on now, would like to no.

All VIP's must hold the signature and you may need it if you want to earn Onions via VoteCentral, if not we just have a mass of loyal members.
That's the first correct answer I've seen to the question above  Cheesy

Seriously, DeepOnion is a great project and I'd happily carry this signature for a while but let's not fool ourselves here. Most people still have the signature because they get paid for it and there's nothing wrong with that. Most of us have promoted DeepOnion more than we've gotten paid for it (except, of course, from the early airdrop participants who certainly got more than they contributed for, unless they additionally contributed to the project using means other than just having a signature) and we have done so gladly. With joy and hope for the project. However, the climate that bitcointalk cultivates is a forum where your signature has value, so most people who have put a signature of any kind have done it in order to get some kind of reward.

I don't want to judge people who have kept or have replaced their DeepOnion signature for monetary reasons. I'm pretty sure that the DeepOnion team is well aware of how the world works and that people need money. It's other behaviors that should concern us, like for example people who pretend to be friends and fans of DeepOnion and then leave the project when the airdrops run out.

PS: To the people who answered "we keep the signature to support the project": It was a simple question, and the answer is, "yes, there are still benefits to holding the DeepOnion signature, as long as you register on VoteCentral and have a minimum of 50 Onions on your wallet. You can help promote DeepOnion and earn Onions on a bi-weekly basis". Let's not act like we couldn't use more people to promote our coin.

Thanks for shedding more light on the issue, I don't know there is anything like VoteCentral. It is a good way to keep the whole community together and to incentive people is a good way to go IMO.
Indeed, and on top of that, people who care about the project can also create proposals for its improvement through VoteCentral so the community can vote on them. I forgot to mention that part because it was not relevant to what you had asked but it's one of the main reasons VoteCentral exists (and the reason for its name). Truly, VoteCentral is a great feature, on of DeepOnion's best.
I totally agree! no matter what happen I always wear DeepOnion signature as long as i can DeepOnion is life.
Some vips and loyal supporters are still wearing DeepOnion signature. They believe in the potential of the project through ups and downs .

I heard that there is a bounty ongoing for DeepOnion, I have search the thread and could not see it, how do i join the bounty? and is the project listed on an centralized exchanges? what's the ticker name?
If you wrote a good article or created contents about DeepOnion, send a message to @bykardinal to consider your contribution to be rewarded with a bounty. You can also join VoteCentral to do promotional tasks and earn DeepPoints, which gets converted to ONION and airdropped to VoteCentral users.
