In the long run, it is necessary to upgrade the code base. Many things and community discussions are good. I think the point is still privacy. Only in this way can we guarantee safety

Of course, mate. You bet that you can guarantee your anonymity here in DeepOnion project. We still looking forward to DeepSend which is one of the powerful features of this project.
Deepsend and DeepVault are unique to deeponion, according to community feedback: DeepVault web is not very popular in the community, everyone pays attention to deepsend

I see alot of people carrying the signature of DeepOnion,  is their any signature campaign on now, would like to no.

All VIP's must hold the signature and you may need it if you want to earn Onions via VoteCentral, if not we just have a mass of loyal members.
That's the first correct answer I've seen to the question above  Cheesy

Seriously, DeepOnion is a great project and I'd happily carry this signature for a while but let's not fool ourselves here. Most people still have the signature because they get paid for it and there's nothing wrong with that. Most of us have promoted DeepOnion more than we've gotten paid for it (except, of course, from the early airdrop participants who certainly got more than they contributed for, unless they additionally contributed to the project using means other than just having a signature) and we have done so gladly. With joy and hope for the project. However, the climate that bitcointalk cultivates is a forum where your signature has value, so most people who have put a signature of any kind have done it in order to get some kind of reward.

I don't want to judge people who have kept or have replaced their DeepOnion signature for monetary reasons. I'm pretty sure that the DeepOnion team is well aware of how the world works and that people need money. It's other behaviors that should concern us, like for example people who pretend to be friends and fans of DeepOnion and then leave the project when the airdrops run out.

PS: To the people who answered "we keep the signature to support the project": It was a simple question, and the answer is, "yes, there are still benefits to holding the DeepOnion signature, as long as you register on VoteCentral and have a minimum of 50 Onions on your wallet. You can help promote DeepOnion and earn Onions on a bi-weekly basis". Let's not act like we couldn't use more people to promote our coin.

Thanks for shedding more light on the issue, I don't know there is anything like VoteCentral. It is a good way to keep the whole community together and to incentive people is a good way to go IMO.
Indeed, and on top of that, people who care about the project can also create proposals for its improvement through VoteCentral so the community can vote on them. I forgot to mention that part because it was not relevant to what you had asked but it's one of the main reasons VoteCentral exists (and the reason for its name). Truly, VoteCentral is a great feature, on of DeepOnion's best.
I totally agree! no matter what happen I always wear DeepOnion signature as long as i can DeepOnion is life.

The votes are on at VoteCentral to decide on this thing https://deeponion.org/community/threads/votecentral-new-proposal-to-modernize-deeponion-codebase.39372/#post-635472
Let's wish the best for the project! taking actions responsibly.

I have mixed feelings about this proposal. I now have many questions that concern the development of DeepSend. If earlier I suspected, but now I'm sure that the developers can not implement the DeepSend. Perhaps this proposal should facilitate its development. I believe in the project, but I want the developers to explain to the community about their existing problems in more detail.

I have not visited your forum for a long time, tell me how things are going with the draft, judging by the fact that the coin has fallen it's not good, but now the whole market has fallen so maybe everything will return

When DeepSend?

DeepSend is a privacy technology, we better work on it at new code base than old one.

Isnt DeepOnions core supposed to be privacy though? Im all for the new code base definitely will be a big leap forward, I just dont want to lose track of our roots.

The possible loss of PoS and SA... I wouldn't want to see DeepSend pushed further back too.
Guys, we won't lose PoS and SA. If the devs find them too difficult to port, they'll replace them with similar features. We are still a privacy coin.

Just with the possible loss of PoS and SA... I wouldn't want to see DeepSend pushed further back too. I dont want to lose either of those features either...

Yeah, I see, there is no point to do it on old code and they re-do on the new one. Thx.
True, plus the new code base will open greater possibilities for expansion. I don't know how limited the current code is, but if the devs all agree to the new one, I'm sure it's far more better for the project as a whole. Always remember that this is a community crypto and the devs are investors as well, they care about its future as much as we do.
