We should be grateful that the government has not embraced crypto, therefore there are still many crypto gambling that provides anonymity
to its users. But this is true for a while, indeed one day in the end online gambling will enforce KYC. As exchanges are slowly starting to require
KYC procedures, but in a pandemic situation like now the government is still busy and focused on other things that are more important than dealing
with crypto gambling. So it's still a long time we will enjoy playing anonymously.
I'm sure like that, the KYC procedure will gradually apply to the crypto gambling industry because this will be an important regulation in the future, but nowadays it still enjoys anonymity which is still not enforced, even though many crypto industries don't implement the procedure. KYC to date is probably only part of what we see.
The pandemic situation is indeed a lot of work for the government that must be handled thoroughly, not only the digital industry, world trade, they are still taking care of it until the situation is restored, so we must be prepared for whatever comes next and hope that this anonymity will last for a long time.
Online gambling cannot be underestimated, its popularity is now in my opinion is increasing. Since the first time the circulation of money
in the gambling industry is very large, the government is actually aware of this. Therefore, in the future, the government will definitely want
to control online gambling, one of which is by enforcing the KYC procedure. As you said we do have to be prepared for that, because it is impossible
for online gambling to provide anonymity to its users forever. Since I'm used to using centralized exchanges that enforce KYC, so maybe I will also
get used to it if crypto gambling applies KYC too.
