Config is really hard to understand. I have 1070 rig. What must I do to work it properly?

anywhere it says amd in quotes, change it to nvidia. I was able to get that to detect the cards, but on my 750m I'm testing on, it would crash.

Thanks for your reply. I opened config with wordpad and I found the problem as you said. I always use notepad because of this I couldn't understand anything.

Error -4 is CL_MEM_OBJECT_ALLOCATION_FAILURE, you have not enough memory, or can't access entire memory on card (may be GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT и GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS variables can help you).

ok thanks the 1070 is 8gb where exactly would i add the variables GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT и GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS

try pasting this before your command line for your bat file

GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 100

Does the fanspeed setting work on Linux? Doesn't seem to do anything on my 470's, and the fan is too slow.
The new AMDGPU-PRO Driver for Linux doesn't seem to have any console app to adjust it.
same here. it's over 70oC. sometimes, one of my gpu (6xRX470) crash.

Same same,

Running silent army under linux with rx 480 because win10 crashes with silent army but gives double sols compared to non-silent army..

It would be really nice if we could, in Linux, control freq, mem, fan through the config.txt as there is no AMD tweak tool for Linux as there is Wattman for Windows.. But.. changing this config.txt makes no changes.. not even turns fans faster..?

GPU's getting quite hot and need to turn fans up.. but how?

I find an app here, but I can't install it. Maybe not work for ubuntu 16.04 Huh

Will the pool automatically switch over to the mainnet?
Right now we're only mining on the testnet right?
It's running fine on Windows 7 so far, though only once instance per GPU.

they started the blockchain? we can mine now?

When they will, you'll clearly see some extra activity in Mining (Altcoins) section for sure. Tongue

Still busy in configuring the miner best for mining (higher hash-rate with less electric consumption). I'll surely post my results in separate thread for RX 480 owners.
