Another question: I have the rasperry pi board. Can it be attached to the usb hub to get energy like the usb miners?

Depends on the hub:
http://elinux.org/RPi_VerifiedPeripherals#Powered_USB_Hubs

I have a Monoprice Aquagate which DOES power the pi and work. And an Anker that does NOT.

Hi guys,

doesn't the last version of cgminer work with these things?

What about the pool? Is any of them still good ?

Down for the majority of 2 days?  Maybe a few hours.  I'm still getting my normal payouts from them.  I have Oz as my backup, and I use cgminer 3.1.1.

They were down for like 6 hours+ today, and multiple hours yesterday.

That is a solid portion of time, I did not get to see the actual time down from work.

What are your hardware errors like in 3.1.1.?

Also, 3.2.2 just errors and closes, can't even get it to run.

Hmm.  I don't recall it being down that much, but I wasn't watching it all the time.

I'm about 5% HW errors at diff ~5.  I think that works about to about 1%.  I haven't tried 3.2.2 yet, and I won't until I have time to blow or I see others post successful results.

Anyone get these working well with CGminer?

I get 10% hardware errors in 3.1.1, which is the only one I can get to work.

In bitminter I get <0.5% errors, they don't run hot at all with these fans.

However bitminter pool has been dead for hte majority of two days, which sucks balls, and I need a backup pool.

Thoughts?

"New cgminer version, 3.2.2, hopefully fixes a lot of bugs with the direct USB behaviour on these devices."

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.2490394

However there is info there that links errors to heat.
does 3.2.2 support USB 3.0 now?
Looks that way. Nice of "C" to get it working and drop the info. by the forum! Let's hope someone posts results...
