New In Town...
I was really happy with Bitads until the wallet emptied and ads started loading very slowly.  I moved to Operation Fabulous for now, but I'd really love to move back to Bitads...  Guess I'll keep an eye on the thread and see if anything changes.

I keep getting the "Code not found." error...

What is it that I would be doing wrong?

Any news? Well, i guess this is the end of bitads.net ... any simillar network around?  Huh

You could try Operation fabulous and a-ads.
Operation Fabulous hasn't been updated for years, their way of listing publisher sites is terrible and they have a high minimum withdrawal amount (0.05 BTC) which discourages smaller sites from using it.

BitAds is also better in my opinion because the ad views are shared proportionally as opposed to Operation Fabulous where only the ad of the highest bidder is displayed.

Hopefully the admin either comes back or someone else creates a site with a similar feature set.

If I had the time I might start but alas I don't  :-(

I have used ad servers in the past such as openx but integrating this with bitcoins etc is not so easy (openx doesn't have any built in payment system and the written payment systems are years old) so maybe starting one from scratch might be easier as openx just has too many options that people wouldn't use.

I *might* make one if I find some spare time, but don't count on it...

So what do people want?

- Based on Bitcoins
- A CPC adnetwork (not a confusing % of the number of views compared to the entire network)
- The Ability to find out who is actually running is/be able to contact them, not someone hiding behind an anonymous domain registration
- Something which doesn't go down a lot ...
- Rules on how adverts can be placed/type of traffic/fraud protection etc
- Adverts are Manually checked for things like Family friendly etc (i.e. no porn etc)
- Websites/Places where the adverts are placed are checked
- lots of other things which I have not thought about..

Pretty much. You planning on making it? If so, what language?

So is bitads dead? I haven't been able to withdraw for forever.
The wallet has been refilled, but was emptied in no time. This could have happened multiple times (didn't check). It's not dead, it's just frozen, I guess.

Yep. Keep an eye on the address. Withdraw immediately when the address is filled up.
