I'm running NVIDIA GTX 1070 FE's - 32 MH/s Each - All6 running I'm getting 197.4 MH/s

32MH/s is quite best hashrate for 1070, mind sharing your configuration?

Reading all this here -makes me feel like buying two 1070 is better than getting 1 x 1080ti

For example you guys are getting ~ on average 400-450 sol - with 1070 single out of box. The 1080ti is getting 700-740 with +150 core and +300 memory.

Skein you are getting 450-550 - 1x 1070

and 1080ti  get 900-990 - with overclock.

Cost wise 1080ti is around what 900-1k

Dual 1070 similar cost ?

Problem is, you can only fit 3 sets of 1070s in a 6 card rig, you can fit 6 1080tis.  Which means you need to buy twice as many boards/chips/ram/ssd/psu to house the same number of cards...
If you are only going to run the 2 cards in a pc then I guess sure, you'll get more bang for your buck, but in bulk the ti wins.

Oh I see what you mean now- So dual is indeed better - especially with currency in downtrend- one would benefit from buying something that has quicker ROI.

I have these slots.

Slot 1: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i
Slot 2: PCI-Express x4 Gen 2
Slot 3: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i
Slot 4: PCI-Express x1 Gen 2
Slot 5: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i

and 1500 watt PSU

in my PC - what does that translate into?

It's an Alienware Area 51

Seems like you might be able to go with 5 GPUs depending on the bios settings available to you.  You would need risers, video cards, and probably want to pull your board out of the case and set it up somewhere you rig up your cards with risers.  Also need to make sure you will be able to power 5 cards you want to run with that PSU (Ti's typically take 2x(6+2) pin connectors each).

I noticed after i updated yesterday driver to latest nvidia driver - my cards no longer hold my overclock(i've got Gigabyte GTX 1070 GAMING-8GD)
I don't remember previous version of driver that i used, but they used to work on +620 memory settings. And now they are stable only at +590

What version of nvidia driver gives you the best\stable hashrate?

My setting: power limit 80%, +100 core, + 200 mem, I get ~435 Sol/s.

And Are there anyone try to modify intensity value. I set all to 64, but when I test by changing some, it seems the hash rate does not change.

Yes, I played with intensity before, seems like only very low intensity 1 or 2 makes the difference, other value seems the same hash rate...

Using Claymore 9.8 in Win 8.1, eth mining only.

afterburner core -200 mem +750

I get 34.5 mh/s for 1070

My whole rig is 3 x 1070 and 3 x 1060 (6gb) and with similar afterburner settings to above on all cards,

170mh/s about 800W fro whole rig.

You get 34.5mh for eth mining on 1070 gtx? That is very strange, never seen someone have that high results on any clock, even on +1000 for meme.
I am very confused about that result. What brand of card do you use? Some other datas? Screen shots please

gigabyte aorus gtx 1070 8gb (rev 1)
core clock= untouched
memory clock= +600

claymore dual miner 9.8 = 30mh/s eth + 705mh/s sia

marlin 1.0 =  1688 mh/s siacoin

ewbf 0.3.4 = 467 sol/s zec

Hey Guys, do you know if the brands of memory of 1070 are only Micron and Samsung?
I'm going to buy my second 1070 but I'm afraid to get a hynix one

I have a Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce that I tried everything in Ethereum and only get 2.5 Mhash. However it works great in Zcash and I am keeping it in Zcash with the following data:

Core clock +100
Memory +500
Fan speed 90%
TDP 75%
Hashrate 435-449 Sol/s it is within this area with EBWF Cuda Miner 0.3.4 version.

I have the same overclocking settings only fan speed at 85%, I think this is the optimal setting

I'm running 6 gtx 1070's at 31mh each mining Ethereum
-65 on core
+595 on memory
70% power running 65-70 degrees
725watts for the entire rig

I would change from ethuream to Zcash.  2 dollar increase and NVidia does much better than what you are currently getting

I too am mining ETH at around 31MH each with SIA dual mined at 500 MH.
Whats your sols/h while mining Zcash? Just wanna double check with calculator. Considering switching soon.

I average around 430 Sols/h with no overclock per 1070

But how many in the overclocked form? I think it's still necessary to disperse through msi burner by 10 percent
