I am not surprised, Scam exchanges like p2pb2b do a lot of washing trading and report fake volumes.
Just try and checkout Digifinex's daily volume  Grin It all faked.

I once tried to trade on that platform, placed my sell order just around the sell price at that time but it never went through after almost 4 days. The trading history showed that the bidding price had even gone way above my sell order but still, it was never touched  Grin Grin

I got so pissed, withdrew all my holdings and promised never to every used it again.

a similar experience trading with a coin from top 10 on CMC. One order of $100 has stood for more than a week, even if they say millions of daily volume.
Only use to sell altcoins listed only on this exchange and withdraw immediately.

And their last post was on 26th July 2019: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.51960040

After the community got together and exposed those scammers, they were humiliated so could not return here to try to defend themselves again. It is clear they cannot salvage the reputation of p2pb2b.io scam exchange therefore instead their full focus is on trying to scam as many users as possible by using their coinsbit exchange scam which is operated by the same scammers.

they probably gave up of any activity here. obviously does not suit the place where they need to answer any question from his customers. I hope that we have drawn the attention of new users not to believe this dubious exchange.

Yes it seems that they have given up here and hopefully both their scam websites (coinsbit and p2pb2b) will close down without stealing from new users.

This has to be seen as a victory for the community because many of us got together to help expose the scammers. Sadly they are still using the coinsbit thread to pump fake buzz using 9 sock-puppet accounts though they have been quiet the past few days.

Just a quick follow-up regarding my issue with p2pb2b (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/p2pb2bio-has-blocked-my-account-without-any-explanation-looks-like-scam-5166605):
They've unblocked my account, but about 70% of my funds are "frozen", so I can't make a withdrawal. Support is not responding (surprise, surprise).

Please understand that we are a regulated licensed institution and are bound by very strict AML/CFT regulation, internal compliance/AML procedures.

In which country are you licensed & what body are you regulated by?

Please post links to the relevant institutions so that customers can verify your licence credentials, ownership details & business address.

Thanks.

Well, they've had more than enough time to answer so I think we can assume that they were/are/always have been - lying.

Stay away guys - this place is a scam.

Thankfully they have given up on trying to promote the p2pb2b scam exchange here to create fake buzz because they have been exposed and humiliated but they have a different tactic for their coinsbit exchange scam.

They are still using 9 sock-puppet accounts to pump their coinsbit scam exchange

It's just my advice Wink

And it's good advice. I go by the mantra of "Legit coins get on legit exchanges - scam/shit coins get on scam/shit exchanges" - although the amount of both legit coins & exchanges is dwindling by the week it seems.

Come on... Why would you want to support a scammer?
Just check the scam accusations board and see how many scam accusations this exchange has.

For the good and love of your project think you would try to get another better exchange

If someone find a way to make them move please tell me.

I already lost 4 days with them without being able to withdraw polis. Then I converted it in btc and eth.

Still not able to withdraw ETH.

I never receive their mail except my confirmation mail and my first registration mail.

They just tell me wait. About 400 dollars lost by this scam. Pretty sad to be honest.

coinsbit and p2pb2b are owned by the same scammer

The list of scams against the coinsbit and p2pb2b scammers is growing. Similar complaints are being posted on the coinsbit thread but the purchased sock-puppet accounts are being used to try to drown them out.

People are not being able to convert or withdraw from coinsbit or p2pb2b websites

I still cannot withdraw my btc from this exchange, I have tried 10 times and opened 4 support tickets and contacted them by email. No help from any of them, I am just being told to "please wait"

I now believe that this exchange has some very serious issues and that this technical issue where users were sent free hempcoins might not be isolated to only hempcoin, they may of messed up and mismanaged other coins as well and now they are financially doomed.

Why else would they not send users their funds and not provide any sort of support or public response? This exchange appears to have massive issues and I would recommend you pull your currency off of here as quickly as possible (if you even can, I can't even withdraw my btc) certainly do not deposit funds on this exchange, you will never get your money back.

I recommend you try to withdraw using any other currency.
I did not try to withdraw my BTC from there, because of fee 0.0015BTC is too high. I convert all my coins to BCH and withdraw successfully. With "normal" fee rate.
After all scam accusations against them, I guess many people will going to move his funds from this exchange it is to be expected that not everyone will succeed withdraw coins. So, be careful.

Do not use this exchange. I have been around since 2014 and used most of the popular exchanges out there. I have never seen anything like this. They have no problem lying to the public and making false statements. Be very careful.

They are lying about their trade volume
They are lying to their customers
They are lying about technical issues
They are lying about their affiliation with Coinsbit

What else?

After being ripped off by these guys and having them reverse my legitimate trades from 2 months ago because they could not cover my altcoin balance, I have been trying to withdraw the bitcoin they refunded me.

I have not been successful and cannot complete the withdraw because confirmation emails stopped being sent to me. I have opened a live ticket and sent screenshots to [email protected] like they requested and still no help and no ability to withdraw my funds.

This is by far the worst exchange I have ever used. What a complete waste of time, loss of money, and source of frustration.

To recap:

I joined this exchange 2 months ago and bought 1% of the total supply of hempcoin 1.5 months before their fork to Komodo.
I tried to withdraw these funds for 1.5 months without success and after no support whatsoever I was told that my trades from 2 months ago would be reversed because they cannot cover my legit trade balances.
They reverse all of my trades and refund my btc (opportunity for investment lost) and now they are not allowing me to withdraw my btc.

Sorry to read about those Hempcoin now being calculated at 3x more in value than when made your first purchase from the p2pb2b scammers. You lost a potential thousands of USD$

On a slightly different note, it is clear that criminals and scammers know no bounds but they do have similar traits. For example serial scammer Dean Nolan who is behind the betking scam also made a technical miscalculation during the 2018 Christmas wager contest. He also refused to pay out over 20 BTC +EV that was won legitimately by players. Instead he decided to cancel all winnings and refunded the bets placed then posted in this forum claiming he deserved praise for being honest. The hypocrisy and irony would have been laughable had matters not been so serious.

It seems so obvious they have made a massive error by sending their freebie Hempcoins to users and those emails you unearthed showing they were asking for those Hempcoins back other users were threatened with have funds or accounts frozen - clearly show the coinsbit and p2pb2b scammers tried to cover this up and blamed the issue on those coins being obtained using "non-legal way" by the seller. Pathetic.

They hoped to keep their scam going with being noticed and by laying low but their victims are stepping up and confronting them here. Yes you are right, users including you have been banned from their Telegram but this forum is a place they cannot silence.

I hope the scammer team behind coinsbit and p2pb2b will be put in jail after they are investigated for fraud.

Maybe you are right, but it is only here on Bitcointalk. They are still in the business, listed on CMC and still called "cryptocurrency exchange". Many people will not come here and read the user experience with this exchange.
I mean, it is the biggest problem that this one exchange and because of that we can read almost every day new scam accusation about similar shady service.

You are absolutely right, unfortunately the coinsbit and p2pb2b scammers are still in business and still have potential to scam but thankfully it will be low-level scams. As you mentioned earlier, the 0.5 BTC orders for Dogecoin are still unfulfilled because hardly anybody is using the exchange. They are simply inflating their figures to show they traded a whopping 33+ BTC daily volume on Dogecoin but they probably traded less than a few thousands Doge if that.

Look at the way they are relentlessly pumping the coinsbit thread. Page 21 onwards is nothing but 9 sock-puppets pumping and me countering their fake buzz attempts: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/coinsbitio-cryptocurrency-exchange-official-thread-4971628

Even if we manage to save just a handful of gullible investors or newbies from investing in coinsbit and p2pb2b after they read these threads then as a community we tried our best and succeeded with the limits we have. If potential victims stumble across these threads after using a search engine then we did our best as community members.

I am so happy that as a community we got together and exposed these scammers
