I don't think anybody expects a Floyd Mayweather fight to be fireworks. 'The greatest defensive fighter of all time', this means he's good at not getting hit.

People literally only watch boxing to see the other guy get knocked the f*** out. I mean, at least that's why I watch it Grin

That said, I'll still watch any fight from any of the boring greats, e.g. Tyson Fury, Mayweather and Usyk, because I do appreciate a masterclass in skill.

Marquez is different though, you can't compare a Mexican warrior to a pure defensive fighter like Floyd. In the first fight, Floyd try to fight Manny toe to toe and there are times that he is being hit flush. So I doubt that he will go up against Manny and change his style.

Manny stays very aggressive in the first fight, and there moments wherein he caught Floyd. But Floyd being himself, adjusted and just roll with his shoulder. It will be the same attitude and style, Manny will be the aggressive and Floyd pot shooting if ever a rematch will happen.

If this fight is gonna push through, it would be just the same scenario like the first fight. Both of the fighters style won't change and we could even expect a slower Manny and Floyd. Same as old, Manny will go the offensive and Floyd on the defensive. Most of the time the fighters get a fixed purse, obviously Mayweather would get far more than Pacquiao since he manages himself, plus he would still be the A-side.

Usually the winner would receive a win bonus too, which is often a cut of the PPV earnings and promo revenue.

However, if you had the chance to earn $25m+ in a fight, you would do it too. Fighting sure as f*** pays more than being a senator!
