I can't believe that Quetta win😱, wao what a performance by the purple team player Jason roy, he score 145 not out with 20 boundaries and 5 sixes, out of no where he manages to chase a huge huge target of 240 while one ball still left also hafeez and smeed also add Thier effort to chase it down. I think such a kind of performance need quetta to qualify for next round. Now Quetta need another victory against Multan with high run rate and Peshawer should lose against Multan then trough run rate may be Quetta quality. But It's look impossible that Peshawer will do such kind of bad performance to kick himself out of tournament. It's great effort from Quetta but it will be worthless for them.
Peshawar Zalmi gave a massive 240 runs target which would be impossible to chase for any team. Babar Azam scored 115 runs in only 65 runs while Saim Ayub scored 74 runs. The opening partnership between them was for 162 runs. What is more interesting that Peshawar Zalmi lost only two wickets during this process of scoring 240 runs.

What an exciting game of cricket going on at the moment. Quetta Gladiators at there best. Peshawar Zalmi have given a target of 240 runs and in reply Quetta Gladiators have scored 146 runs in just 11 over. The game is very much ON Quetta Gladiators..Jason Roy has scored 92 runs on just 42 balls and he must stay there till end for Quetta to win this contest. If Quetta win today then there is slight chance of them making to next round but still they are giving there best.
Yesterday's match was really bad for Multan Sultan and they have already qualified for the next match as they were second in the points table. But now it has moved away from the second rank to third rank his bowling in yesterday's match is nothing special but Tim David performance was very admirable his 4 sixes back to back turn match into intense moment. He scored 60 runs off 27 balls but these runs did not work for his team. Anyway Congratulations Islamabad United they won Match by 2 wickets and 1 ball left.
What an unfortunate turn of events for Multan Sultans this season. They were looking very strong, holding their position and winning matches and dominating, and then, all of a sudden, they lost 3 consecutive matches, and Islamabad United has taken the second position sending Multan from 2nd to 3rd.Both Multan Sultans and Islamabad United have two matches left, and it'll be interesting to see who will be among the top two to secure a chance for themselves to still quality for the final even if they lose their first match.

Super women won the game easily with 2 wickets fall , they have made 138 runs in16 overs . The target given by Amazons was 132 runs (run rate of 6.6) which is an easy target to chase .
The good thing is these matches are a good step to increase popularity if women cricket in Pakistan.

I couldn't watch the matches. How was the crowd response? In a few months time, PCB will be organizing the WPSL in Pakistan. I am doubtful whether the tournament will get enough support from the fans, because in general women's sports is not taken as priority in that country. WPSL is the brainchild of Rameez Raja, and he put so much effort in to organizing this tournament. I don't know how much the new PCB management supports the WPSL, but my advice to them should be to look at the long term benefits of this tournament rather than focusing on the one-time expenses.

Earlier against Karachi Kings, Islamabad United won the match chasing the target of 201 runs. Among the PSL teams Islamabad United is much known for chasing targets.
201 runs is not much because if we look at the previous matches every team has been giving target of 200 or 200+ to the opposition team and the high score in Pakistan Super League was 241 by Lahore Qalandar.

Bismah Maroof will be leading the Amazons, while Nida Dar is the captain of the Super Women. These exhibition matches are being played as a preparation to the WPSL, which will start sometime by September 2023. A total of 5 teams will be competing in the main tournament after 6 months and it is expected that a number of top overseas players from Australia and South Africa will take part.

We saw Quetta Gladiators bouncing back and winning the game after losing 5 wickets for 63 runs. There are 4 overseas players in both teams and they are from England, South Africa, Srilanka and Australia. That's a good start of Women's League Exhibition and if PCB keep it going then it can be a successful event in coming years like PSL.

Multan Sultans need to strengthen the bowling. With T20 cricket we can't pin point any of them as the reason for the loss of the match, even with high scores the team losses. This is common and today it had happened with Multan Sultans and Islamabad United is getting to be more stronger every match. In the match of Multan Sultans vs Islamabad United, Islamabad United defeated Multan Sultan by 2 wickets. Multan Sultan batted first and managed to accumulate 205 runs on the scoreboard for 5 wickets in 20 overs. I think 205 runs in 20 overs is a very big score. But the batsmen of Islamabad United saw this target as too small and they gradually crossed the huge target of 205 runs to win this match. Islamabad United won by 2 wickets against Multan Sultans with one ball in hand. By winning this match so far Islamabad United have retained their second position in the points table. Both teams have played a total of eight matches where Islamabad United have collected 12 points and Multan Sultans have collected 8 points. Finally Match is over Peshawar Zalmi (207 all out) defeat Lahore Qalandars (172 all out) and won Match by 35 runs. If we look at previous match, Lahore Qalander's performance was very good both betting and bowling as compare to this match.
