In zalmi batting, only openers were able to score runs apart from openers only Shanaka was able to make it to double figures. Islamabad United Chased the target in just 89 balls. Wahab Riaz as usual, was super expensive, don't know why he is still selected in PSL. Islamabad United is now at number second position after this win. United are silently but moving forward.

Horrible stats for Karachi. They have played most games and lost most games also. Babar Azam has done right move by immigrating to zalmi in this PSL. There is complete overhaul required in Karachi Kings squad.

Karachi Kings started good and it looked like they'll easily win the match. In between the opening wicket and the run out was an unnecessary one. Vince was in good form and he's taking the team towards win. The middle order Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik didn't perform and ate the balls. If they had played good the match could've been a win for Karachi Kings.

When the run target was 197 runs in 20 overs, the innings that Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik gave yesterday was undoubtedly enough to lose the match. No ball + 6 runs came as a bonus total of seven runs due to Abbas Afridi's first ball noball call , just when the game needed 24 runs in the last over. Then 17 runs were needed in six balls, Abbas Afridi gave a few extra runs in the last over and 7 runs were needed in the last 4 balls. The turning point of the game changed only when Ben cutting out. But 7 runs were to be taken in the last two balls but Imad Wasim could not turn any ball into a six, finally Karachi Kings lost by three runs. However, Karachi Kings lost tomorrow's match only to a few top-order batsmen. Especially Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik scored only 25 runs in six overs which was not good for Karachi Kings in yesterday's match.
Haider Ali's biggest contribution to the match was in running out James Vince, who was singlehandedly leading the fight for Karachi Kings. By the time Vince got out, Karachi was solidly on target with a score of 105/2 after 9.5 overs. But then the combination of Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik sank them with slow batting. And it is not like the Multan Sultans had world class bowlers. All they had was a bunch of inexperienced pacers, including Ihsanullah, Abbas Afridi and spinners Khushdil Shah/Usama Mir. After watching the match I was unsure for which team this guy (Haider Ali) was playing.

A thrilling match between multan Sultans and Karachi Kings both team have played exceptionally good but Karachi Kings got unlucky at the end and they couldn't score in last 4 balls . Excellent balling by the young boy who took wicket of Ben cutting Abbas Afridi is the man who brought this victory for multan Sultan.
These super leagues taking place in specific countries, like Australia (BBL), Dubai IIRC (ILT20), India T20 and PSL and many more have increased the heartbeats of cricket fans because we always keep looking for these leagues to take place and we bet on our favs. PSL had also been made it up to our expectations and the teams have been flawlessly displaying great games with good scores on the board. I hope I enjoy more games like I enjoyed the Sultans vs Kings today.

And Ihsanullah maybe the perfect guy for that job. Anyway, it was incredible to watch Mohammad Rizwan destroying the Karachi bowlers. Only the two experienced spinners (43-year old Imran Tahir and 41-year old Shoaib Malik) escaped without much damage. And surprisingly Rilee Rossouw and Kieron Pollard were forced to play a supporting role on the other end.
An entertaining match but still another defeat for Karachi. 18 runs given in last over by Abbas Niazi and on last ball 5 runs were required. Abbas Afridi was fortunate enough not to hit for a six on very last ball else all hard work done by Rizwan with his bat would have gone in waste. Karachi now have lost 4 of there 5 games. Today karachi performance was good with bat but they were a bit unlucky in the end. Muhammad Amir is unfit and thats something positive for karachi as he is spreading too much hate in PSL.
