Just a friendly warning: The vertminer permanently fucked up my sapphire 280x, several other miners have reported having their cards damaged from using the vertminer. Mine this coin at your own risk

Let me put a 3% premine into perspective.

it may seem to be a small number at first glance, but if you were to put that in terms of vertcoin, 3% would be over 2.5 million vertcoins, or 50% more than all coins currently in existence that have been mined in over a month.

it is impossible to compare the two.. vertcoin has a 50 coin block reward so of course those numbers are going to be completely skewed

block reward has nothing to do with the general point i was trying to convey. People intuitively think that 3% is small. But they don't realise that only a fraction of the total supply will be in existence in the first few months, which makes the 3% pre-mine actually a huge percentage of all coins in existence.

I agree, 3% is not small change, neither is 1% - the point I was trying to make is that you cannot compare vertcoin to a coin that has disproportionately larger reward structure as more would be mined in the same time frame relative to the coins rewards.

You are overlooking what that 3% represents and I think you are assuming that for whatever reason that 3% is just being pocketed when we have outlined clearly and openly what the 3% is allocated for.

I know good coins when I see them and this is just a flat out pump and dump coin.

Once this coin hits a market they will dump the entire premine for a quick cashout.

Guys, i've been responding to the same 3 questions over and over.

Please go back in the thread and look for an explination as to what the 3% represents, it says it on the front page..

no one is forcing you to mine and whilst we appreciate the feedback, you are free to go for whatever coin you choose =)

Guys, you're missing the point. This is clearly a dump and pump coin. So, just jump in, make some profit and get the fu** out before's too late.

No denying 3% is a large pre-mine though, Why not 1% or 1.5% max? Huh

Why is there an active hashrate at DedicatedPool? There should be nothing before launch, or am I missing something here?

they do a number of other coins

no one has the source yet so dont worry lol Smiley

Well, I know that, but this is when you are logged into the PND... Either this is a fake figure just for show or they are already mining, it is NOT from other coins they have set up pools for, if it was, the hashrate would be much higher.

This isn't even the real pandacoin.

are you talking about the old pandacoin?

Yes.  The real pandacoin.

Did you have another pandacoin in mind?  How many pandacoins are there?

It's also racist to write "Pandacoin" in faux Chinese characters like that.  I for one will not being supporting a racist coin.

i appreciate your very politically incorrect viewpoints. Thank you Elisha Otis
