In this pandemic we must see the advantages and the things that must be improved.

Advantage:
1.- People no longer spend huge amounts of time commuting from home to work.
2.- The productivity of companies have grown.
3.- New ways of doing business have grown or will be created (the Internet is growing in demand).

Disadvantages
1.- People have longer hours of up to 12 hours or more per day. Mainly in underdeveloped countries and there are no clear work rules.
2.- Problems in homes due to coexistence that previously did not exist in the psychological field.
3.- Unemployment worldwide.

We can comment on other points, what is a reality is that this is here to stay and we will have to evolve and guide efforts to improve using current and new technologies.

The law of life, you evolve or you are simply forgotten.

I figured we'd be almost back to normal life by now, but in the US at least it looks like everyone is freaking out even more about COVID-19.  There have been several local businesses that have closed for days--and for unknown reasons.  Masks are starting to be enforced in stores, and people are getting really salty.
back to normal!! It is true.. In my country, COVID-19 is not even feared anymore, many people even say "does Covid-19 exist?".  Many citizens are no longer wearing masks and government enforcement of health protocols is loosening..

This description makes it sound like a hellhole, but about half the United States fits this description. Imagine running out of hospital beds in the richest, most technologically advanced nation in the world and still having a significant portion of people and politicians attempting to downplay the severity of the pandemic. Sometimes I'm sure that America doesn't deserve first-world status and it's because of things like this.

Yeah, the pandemic greatly affect with regards to economic status and development of every country. Because of this pandemic other businesses are now adopting the new technology and digital currency. But whatever the pandemic brings to us, hope that it will end soon, so that while accepting the new digital system, we can also go back to normal slowly.

Since I am working in the human resource department of our company specifically in recruitment, I have seen a lot of changes caused by this pandemic where we do interviews over the phone, conduct panel interviews through MS Team, zoom, or Webex.

The employment contract is being sent through email including pre-employment requirement are also sent through the same channel, employees are still required to wear mask and face shield and need to have a bottle of alcohol. Though these changes in my work environment are also implemented in the other industries and for some reason, I find it ethical not for ourselves but to others as well.

I could consider that because of this pandemic people are now voluntarily or force to move on a different stage of technological adoption which could lead to a progressive economy in a later time

Indeed, this pandemic brought positive effects without us knowing this will happen. As we go digital to avoid contact with other people or to avoid using cash, adoption with new digital platforms is here. And as such, crypto adoption is among them. Maybe this is the reason why many big companies are looking into crypto investments. Our age is going digital and crypto is just the right fit.

Huge and even smal businesses nowadays have learned how to adjust just to deal with the pandemic situation right now. They have considered the situation of customers as well as the welfare of their employees by adopting the changes by switching from mostly physical through online transactions. It helped the economy recover and survive and it's a good thing that we're all starting to adopt and see it as a normal thing.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
We have seen a lot of companies changing procedures and implementing more radical ways of doing their work.
Businesses have adopted new processes and technologies—and there are signs that they may pay off in the future. The pandemic and COVID-19 era could give a rapid productivity growth after the vaccination of the global population is going to end or reach a significant percentage.

Remote working and new systems that help companies being better organized are what businesses struggled a lot to adopt in the beginning of the pandemic. Now this kind of investment is going to pay off.

My company made a huge investment in adopting systems such as remote meeting places, cloud systems that help organizing documents and a way of eliminating paperwork... I believe that this is going to increase the productivity of the employees especially if those go back to work.

Have you seen any changes in your working environment like these?
This is very common while in the short term people were unprepared to face the crisis over the long term this brings growth as people find ways to overcome the crisis with new knowledge and technology, one of those examples is the vaccine and the pharmaceutical industry, vaccines take years even decades to develop and even if it seems as if it has been ages this vaccine was developed in record time, so if this happen again the pharmaceutical industry will have already protocols in place to develop a vaccine even faster than it did this time around.

What coincidence!!
My company is biotech based vaccine manufacturer. Honestly it's all traditional stuff here (used too be) and we never had hi-tech conferencing equipments. I mean we have the modest biotech but when it comes to meetings, con-calls, videos etc. we had lacuna in it.

But since the pandemic, our company has turned around 360 degree!! Company hired best IT teams, digitalised the whole company with new systems. That was really amazing upgrades for us.

It wasn't possible for us to work from home earlier but now QA peeps can do it. So yeah many things have changed and being in pharma company things are seriously modest for us.

That's unfortunate that remote working is only working out for people who are actually:
1. Important for the company
2. Thorough with the computers
3. Have access to internet and basic devices
Now this only something that's good for 10% of the population in my country, most people are jobless and how waiting for jobs to start normally. Now this pandemic might teach them to learn a thing or two about on-line work but it's sure to have long term drastic effects.
I myself don't believe that online work is doing any good. The students are suffering the most without practicals. One cannot just go and learn medicine online , nor learn to do a operation using videos. We need it to end. Certain things are better offline.

Companies have started changing their philosophy into more tech-related processes and systems.
This is also good for blockchain technology as it is something that it is not yet widely introduced to businesses.
The productivity is going to hit new records after the covid era will end, as employees will manage to handle their working time more effectively than they used to do in the past.

The real change I feel in my job is when all the learning is done online. As a teacher, this is a very big change. Because online learning presents its own challenges for teachers. The teacher must be able to explain all lessons so that the child understands well what is explained. Let alone online, offline there are still many children who have difficulty understanding lessons. Not to mention, teachers who teach online will compete with online learning applications which are far more attractive and creative from the appearance alone. Maybe this happens only in my country, or you feel it too.

Masks are starting to be enforced in stores, and people are getting really salty.

I don't understand how masks can interfere with your mind and your environment. The usefulness of masks far outweighs the negatives. You are too sure about your body's antibodies or you want to commit suicide or you also have no social ethics. As far as I know, even Japanese people, before the Covid-19, even made the use of masks for people who felt they were a little unwell an ethic of public life.

We almost back to normal but there is still some restriction, we could see that this pandemic brings us to the world of technology, there are a lot of public services that are now relying on technology, there are also some people who lost their job became active in the world of technology on which they are working at home or even become active in the world of cryptocurrency.

Our economy also recovers little by such establishment because of the new normal, hoping that we could see a full recovery of our economy in 2021.

The pandemic has definitely affected everyone and everything with businesses etc. Imagine being able to use the internet for holding meetings and seminars. You skip the travel times, make it easily accessible, etc. There are downsides for sure, but you would know that there are actually jobs that are still functional even in work from home setting. There are definitely different approaches developed during the pandemic, with the productivity and effectiveness increasing in value.

This could be a positive outlook for what has happened, but we can never forget those who are having a hard time during this season. It's definitely not easy, but we could just look at it positively.

Not only companies but the government as well in fact here in our country our government is the first one that implement cashless transaction and and Zoom online  teleconference, and they encourage companies and private individuals to do the same, after the pandemic the new contact less system will still implemented, because we never know if another pandemic is looming.

Yeah, this new normal really made us adapt depending on what we are experiencing these days.

This pandemic made us adjust depending on the situation we are in. This working environment that we have right now is less toxic compared to the time where we actually go into the platform or workplace where do our jobs. Also if you are a full time investor of cryptocurrency, you need to understand those changes, with the exchange, banks, and other factors that can affect how you deal with the market.

I don't work so I don't know about this, as a person who seller I feel a very big change in the behavior of people shopping, they really move to online buying as well as seller started using all social media massively for they sell many things.
I read articles on bbc.com based on a survey only 12% of employees want to work full time in the office, more want a hybrid remote-office model, so any change will be acceptable with many workers.

Pandemic will clearly force some fields into progress. There's a saying: "every kick in the butt makes you do a step forward".
In my country far too many things were done and kept only on paper. Pandemic changes that.

On the working places, it depends from one to another, there are no rules, really.

Have you seen any changes in your working environment like these?

Since I work for company related to IT, the amount of paperwork was small and remote work was always a possibility, but not very much loved because of concerns on productivity.
So nothing much has change there. But something did change: a lot of services are moved into cloud to avoid/reduce the need for physical access into the building.

I haven't seen any valid proof showing that remote working is more productive.
It most cases, remote working actually isn't more productive and most companies will return to office working after the pandemic ends."Eliminating paperwork" has been already done years ago,by most of the big companies. Grin
Anyways, the process you are describing happens during every economical crisis.Companies optimize their resources, staff and costs and become more efficient for a while, but after the crisis ends, they start to grow and hire more people, therefore losing a part of that increased efficiency.

We are back to normal with the new things that adapt to our life in many businesses. Not just in the business, but it happens in real life, and when we see at a local store and public area, people now need to have a distancing each other in the crowd, and they will follow the health protocols. Yes, the pandemic has change how humans interact with other people because that is for their own good. And in the new normal, everything has restarted, including our lives, and perhaps, that is what we need to have a new situation in this pandemic. But the situation will be better, especially if the government can distribute the vaccine to help people.

That's just how it works. If it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger or better. That applies to the circumstances that we have right now. We have actually adapted a lot to this pandemic. We have made invaluable realizations, innovations, and adjustments because of this. That's on the personal level, business level, or even in the macro level like in the national and international setting. So this will eventually pay-off in the long run.

Remote working, for example, is a win for the workers because they don't have to leave home for work, win for the business owners because they don't have to maintain an office, win for traffic because people would travel less, win for the environment, and so on and so forth. The same goes to physical stores partially or fully shifting into online stores. There are so many cases of amazing adaptations brought by this pandemic.
