I wouldn't suggest anyone to sell any Bitcoins right now since the price of Bitcoin is going up. Since I like to watch the Altcoins go up in value when the price of Bitcoin goes up, there is a large chance that people could make more Bitcoins from participating in the price uptrend.

The only thing that I don't like about people panic selling is that they usually complain when the price of Bitcoin gets really expensive and they can't purchase Bitcoin cheaply.

It's fine if they are going to sell only if they really need some extra cash for their own purpose but don't ever try to sell all the bitcoin that you had. I really hate panic selling, there's no unity between the users and traders, when this panic selling will be stopped for sure we are going to see the price to fly up to the moon.
We doesn't seems need to panic selling why? Because why would you sell it if you will lose? Then HODL for it and be patience you will see it if you panic sell and the alts that panic sell is pump much more high. Then you should think of it why i sell it? I just want to say AIM FOR THE HIGH
it is the nature of the bitcoin that when its price start decreasing then it can dump more that 100 points in few minutes although it can also recover its position very fast than its decreasing, but still people think that it is better to book a little lost instead of losing everything, they forget the recovery of the price of bitcoin again. i think they should try to hold their bitcoin specially in panic like situation.
Expert people do not sell their coins when the price start to drop as they know that the price of bitcoin will not drop permanently or for long term but it will fall down only for a short term and will recover to its original value very sooner while those are are new to the bitcoin they often lose their heart and immediately sell their bitcoin when they see the price at down.

Panic selling is just for inexperience holder of the bitcoin because if you are have enough knowledge you will not do a panic selling.

I am one of those inexperience holders that started to panic when I'm seeing the price of bitcoin to fall but I learned from my mistake and started to focus with the charts. And right now, I strongly believe that the price of bitcoin is going to become higher and I don't need to panic right now, the market of btc is strong.

100 points or 100 percent? Please make some clarify of your statement, I know bitcoin could dump but I'm
not seeing it to dump at that level, that is pretty much alarming and will probably cause panic.

I don't really care how price work's everytime when it fluctuates, only that I believed the law of supply and demand. To those people who were panic sellers it's their decisions to take their profit, but I don't think that they're hopeless and I only analyzed that their mind were being poisoned by those forum speculators; saying negative ideas about bitcoin. That's really happening in the forums and those agressive investors who really momitored btc price,  were easily feared those rumors that they've read online; but personally I don't mind those crap ideas and only reply positive thoughts in order to gain positive thinking.
Where users that panic selling their coins was immobile and cheating hey, I would not have accused them so much. The first and the last In what they can be reproached for this cowardice, due to the fact that there was not enough time for the influx of negative information about the fall of Bitcoin.

You should know that how come 100 percent can be the dumping price if that happened then the bitcoin price will become nil so it is clear that the user ment 100 points in the sense that the price goes down 10 to 20 % of the high price and i agree with his statement that when their is 10 % selling started then automatically everyone start to sell and it goes very soon for more selling pressure.

If it's a massive sum like a 1BTCM then maybe yes, it could cause a drop, which would cause a chain reaction. However, I wouldn't worry about that. We have more to worry from the Chinese government releasing stuff into the media, causing people to panic.

But then again, if they all started to sell, the cheaper it gets. Their loss, our gain.
Those days are long gone, the Chinese government cannot put pressure on the price of bitcoin any more as you can see that the majority of volume is not from China and so these sort of follow up news wont see a huge dump in the price of bitcoin as we used to see in the past. People usually panics when they hear any bad news ,it is natural but if you are a trader you must consider the long term aspects too.

Yeah, panic selling does nothing other than lock in our losses. I mean, you knew the risks when you got in it. Maybe those who panic sell tried going all in on bitcoins so that's why they get very afraid whenever the price falls.

If the reference is to china market behind the day it's clear I'm feeling a tremendous panic, then I just think about two things, that is pulling all the nominal in account, and at least cut loss if it succeeded in pulling half, but what happens is the account is frozen by the government.

At least from that incident I learned a lot about panic selling, as happened in early March when people started to panic selling their bitcoin, I remain relaxed and analyzed that the movement of bitcoin will rise again until now.

Yeah, at that that time I knew it wouldn't last really long. What I thought was that they'd simply try to make the exchanges more accountable to their gov't - and make some money as well buying cheap bitcoins. IMHO the only way China can really hurt bitcoins is if they shut down mines. I doubt they will, considering it does earn them money.

Yes we really don't need to panic when it comes on selling our bitcoins. But the only thing I'm saying that it's fine to sell, is only if you really need some cash or you don't have enough for spending. There's no need to do panic selling, the normal selling is fine because it is helping the bitcoin economy and only few btc you will sell.
in fact people need good knowledge about bitcoin trading. and when they will learn and get knowledge about bitcoin then they will not trap in penic selling, those people who do not have good knowledge about bitcoin then comes in pressure very soon and when the price of bitcoin start decreasing they consider it as panic selling and sell their own bitcoin with lost.
That's the human nature. When something decline in value than what's been expected there a panicking situation arises. This can be easily overcome by the big investors or people with good capital backing. Most of the trading personalities were into it to make a day earning, so even if they were knowledged the situation allow them to sell creating path for big investors to profit.

What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?
Panic selling is just for inexperience holder of the bitcoin because if you are have enough knowledge you will not do a panic selling.
Newbies or the people who are getting started in bitcoin often do the panic selling because they don't know the things yet and you are right because they don't have knowledge so they don't have idea on how markets work so they often sell also if they see a red bar going down from the candlestick chart of bitcoin but i think that is alright for them because it will serve them as a lesson so they will not do another kind of mistake like panic selling.

When btc dump altcoins pump, thats the good thing will happen also. So its good to invest your other btc in altcoin, and never put all your money in just one basket.
But not always when the bitcoin price drops then the altcoin price will go up. It can not be guaranteed to always happen. Because it is highly possible that altcoin prices weaken as bitcoins also weaken

There is one golden rule: Do NOT invest more than you can afford to lose. There is always the chance to lose everything, especially when the price is going down (many times in the past, more times in the future). Remember that when you sell cheap there are always some others that buy cheaper.

As to me, this rule is mostly meaningless and pointless

First, if you invest only what you can allegedly afford to lose, then you won't earn what you want to earn, as simple as it gets. In that case, the whole idea of investing as such would be questionable. Further, what is the limit of what you can afford to lose? I'm inclined to think that it is better trade with the thought that you actually can't afford to lose anything, otherwise you will certainly lose, and mostly likely, both what you can afford to lose and what you cannot

Problem is more complex. Main reason for people to sell their coins in panic is the fact that they use money that they badly need in their personal lives (i.e. can't afford to lose).

To add ~ some of these people even take it a step higher and dive into leverage trading. As long as they see the price go up, everything is all fine, but as soon as the price goes down, they quickly close their positions.

Hodling for these people has no priority as their main focus is to generate as many profits as possible in a very short time. It's pure gambling that they do.

If you need it quickly , you're okay to sell it right now because the price is really high this day. But, if you not you can keep it for a month till get the best price and make sure you don't get panic if the price were dumped.

i suggest to hold on more up until the end of year. A lot of people are getting into bitcoins now and the price will really soar in the next few months up to the end of year. Good to hold and not sell and don't panic if there is a dump. Only small dump I'm feeling. Not the dump that we saw after the ETF was rejected last March.
