Patience is only good when you have large capital and stable job. Bit if you have small capital and you can't afford to lose a lot, scalping is the best strategy in market. Imagine, if you bought btc at 19K usd ethereum at 900 usd. Probably, if holding right now you are still lose certain amount of money in your holding. Patience is good when you think it is worthy to invest in market. Specially if you see that the market is at its low.
That's exactly what people who don't understand market cycles are doing. They buy high and sell low instead of doing of the opposite . Bitcoin will go down so will every other stock but hold it and you will be rewarded.
It's because of lacking of proper knowledge/strategy about that coin/token or they don't do any price analysis and take part as others buy that etc... But it's more matter how you play with crypto space, not played by crypto space. ALso, it's true to be rewarded by having some patient to hodl bitcoin. 
Hodling of bitcoin truely is for the patient people. Bitcoin was very cheap early this year at below $5,000 but now above $10,000. This is a good investment for few months to double an investment. Hodling this year for deep buyers have been gainful. As an investor, you aim for low entry to sell at high for profit.
That's exactly what people who don't understand market cycles are doing. They buy high and sell low instead of doing of the opposite . Bitcoin will go down so will every other stock but hold it and you will be rewarded.

Just because you are always patient to hodl your crypto assets, you expect others to do the same. Majority of us here have different agenda and targets about crypto. In crypto you can neither be a short term investor or long term investor depending on the volatility of the market. Which ever one they choose, it's their choice of investment strategy that yields profit for them
It does not mean that having a patience of a hodler may lead him/her to a more generated income where each and everyone of us were dreamt off. Sometimes more income can be gained through a day trading but the drawback of it was a high risk that each every trader may take. We always have this saying here in forum that "patience is a virtue" but we do have our own techniques and strategy on how we trade well. At the end of the day its our self decision, and our own strategy will matters most.
For some people who does not have any knowledge with holdings or investment, I'm sure that some of them have a little amount of patience especially when they got the false information such as investing will make you earn an easy money, your money will be doubled, etc. But ofcourse before engaging yourself with cryptocurrency, you must strengthen your foundation with it. Don't take the risk if your knowledge with crypto is not enough because you will only lose your money and it is same with patience, if you're not better at waiting, maybe you are not yet ready for this.

That is not what I think the founders wanted it to achieve. However, we cannot deny the fact that the popularity bitcoin and other coins received is mainly because of the manifold increase in price only. A lot of people started investing seeing the returns or price growth only.
However, after the recent dips , one can say that it does need a lot of patience to remain profitable with bitcoin investment.
So what? You are saying the same things that you have been saying for 3 years after the last rally. Obviously, most of the people who came during the rally were looking for a profit.

Unfortunately, there are so many people who just show up on the good days of Bitcoin and disappear on the bad ones. There is still a big ignorance about Bitcoin. There is a belief among this kind of people like Bitcoin is nothing more than an investment tool. But the realities show the opposite. People should be taught about Bitcoin correctly. Otherwise, we will always come across people like this.

But hodling your Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is sure safer than risking it in Trading. Well, that's because most of the people I think are just saving their altcoins and bitcoins waiting for the bull run since they don't know how to trade. Will you blame them? of course no. We, cryptocurrency enthusiast goal is to earn money on our portfolio, there's no rush, also either way we make our own choices in life.

Be patient and return to the mainland. Over the past 3 years, a lot of people have bought altcoins at a very high price from 2018-2018 and they want to get back what was lost. Some go back to their original price and they cut loss and some never get their money back.
Even those who bought Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP ..., they still lost money. Waiting is the best way, there is no other way in this market.

Many bitcoin users need to know more about this cryptocurrency, and that's one of the reasons bitcointalk exist, it is possible to make mistake but we must always learn from it and get counsel, those selling at the wrong time and buying at the wrong time have to get more information, knowledge is power, you don't just do things anyhow and get a good result,if only you are lucky.though strandedness may make you sell unripened,but I see it as see it as waste of resources.
