Man, you nailed it there! that's right you need to set it up with a lightning network to avoid delayed transactions and to save some gas fees. May you become successful in doing that so that the other companies will do the same as well. I think you are the only one as of now to publicize your plan hope that it goes well after you implemented it. Just don't give up man, small bugs and errors are part of this new innovation.

Let the transaction take hours to confirm if there is network congestion, why not take your national identity card copy
for the transaction by the customer and that will be helpful if he makes a double spend at a later time. For the past month the transaction fees are really low and the confirmation time is low as well.

You're plans for the future is having great potentials, only that bitcoin was volatile and it certainly involves huge risk. Good thing that you had tap someone who can help you set up your own programmed system for cryptocurrency payment. It's not an easy diversion to take, so by the time you'll hit the benchmark of success in bitcoin I think it's a key for other business to venture this kind of strategy.

Many more this kind of step will really make Bitcoin as a global currency more and more popular. Today, mass adoption of Bitcoin nad also other cryptocurrencies are widely spreading. Many more companies are accepting payment via Bitcoin.
This is a very good step if you provide Bitcoin as one of the payments.

And maybe, the problem will happen technically and also the ways you will accept that payment the rate, and also the security of your systems.
You may also need to promote more and announce to more your customers in order to spread it more widely

IMO, this is a brilliant idea. Accepting Bitcoin as a payment currency will take you to another level entirely. It can attract crypto customers to you. let's say I have some BTC, I'll really want to buy from your store because you accept BTC. In short, I'll find it fun as a customer. Just don't get discouraged to use it if you don't get customers paying with BTC at the start. Eventually they'll start coming, and those who don't use it may even get to know more about it.

If you are looking for help in implementing the lightning network among your payment channels for the business you own, I would stand with what some of the guys here are saying which is to check the technical board since there is no specific lightning network thread within this board. Then again I am quite glad you took great interest in bitcoin, so much so that you are willing to risk by imposing it as an available payment channel for your service. People like you who took the initiative and went head-on first will most likely be the pioneers of the new currency system once bitcoin becomes accepted not only as a valuable asset and a store of value but also as a fully-fledged currency. If what he's offering is available for redemption over the internet, I don't think the locale will play a big role on how well his bitcoin payment channel will be. And I would assume it will be over the internet since bitcoin works best over the internet anyway. Then again I might be wrong, and what OP may have in mind is some sort of over the counter payment method, much like credit card swiping.

This is really great that you are actually doing something like that but I would rather suggest you to move the funds after a certain amount to a safer wallet. Lightning network for sure is amazing but it also has its own disadvantages. Therefore you have to really study about it before you can bring it into practice.
At the same time if you are actually accepting Bitcoins, I do think that you might as well try and incorporate other cryptocurrencies in the same thing. At the end of the day, the market is competitive and it would help you out in many ways, technologically, personally and professionally too.
You also have to understand the fact that not all wallets support lightning network therefore you can also try and use segWit, it would not be that fast but it would get the job done if you are accepting online payments and have a window or 'time limit' arranged for it.

Actually many people have try that concept of exchanging their products with cryptocurrency but is not every country is acquainted to cryptocurrency, i think that should be one of the major reason while some people dislike payment with cryptocurrency especially bitcoin, but anyone that is civilised will definitely accept payment with cryptocurrency, likewise me i will accept payment via cryptocurrency payment than fiat payment.

What i can suggest you maybe really focus on money management. Because as company there are employees which must get paid too and with bitcoin volatily, company that accept bitcoin as payment should know when to maybe sell the coins so they are not lose in money but will be different if all people in company agree to decide when want to sell their coins by themself.

pay with krypto, you can say wow, because it sounds very cool, but for me personally I can't accept it, if the company pays everything with bitcoin, but I will receive half my salary with fiat money, and half with bitcoin, because in the country I can't accept purchases using crypto yet, so that's the reason I only want to receive half of my salary, paid in bitcoin..

As much as bitcoin is easily transferrable I would never ever treat it as a medium of exchange just as cash would. With its ever volatility in nature, it is kind hard to track but I would rather see it as much like gold... a great store of value. So to pay something with bitcoin is really not my cup of tea.

we can say this is a very good idea, if you accept payments in bitcoin, because we can make payments in just two easy ways i.e. scan and pay. No need to register, swipe card, type PIN or sign anything. All it takes to be able to accept Bitcoin payments is to display the QR Code from the bitcoin wallet app and allow the other party to scan your phone, or touch both phones at the same time, hopefully with you accepting bitcoin payments, can make it easier for us, and people who want to learn more about bitcoin..

I don't know if it's going to make things better when you do this, but I think you could give your customers discount when they use the payment option for bitcoin, it could in a way encourage them to use bitcoin but at the same time makes you a helper in spreading bitcoin through engagement instead of just curiosity.
