Hello guys!

I just want to ask if there's an existing offer already that accepts bitcoins by purchasing airline tickets to a specific destination? I'm an adventure type of guy, just finished my vacation last Monday. I usually travel like 3 to 4 times a year locally by plane.

Any thoughts on this guys? Thanks in advance.

Nice question. I want to buy tickets too using bitcoin but unfortunately I don't know if some airline accept bitcoin as a payment mode. In my country I know that there's no airlines accept bitcoin because only few people don't use it, and don't know this bitcoin. But I'm hoping in future, bitcoin can buy tickets worldwide.

My actual plan was to find an airline that acept btc in my place and travels to places in which not jist because of a good beaches but the bitcoi adoption is high as well that would surely be a great trip. If i am not mistkaen one of the largest airline in japan now accepts btc as payment

Yes they do accept now, it's experimental once it becomes a success many airlines will follow, that Japan airlines is indeed brave to incorporate Bitcoin, because of the delay in confirming the transactions I'm hoping that they do succeed because many company will follow their examples.

I think it is not available yet because the countries or big companies are just starting to notice bitcoin and i think it will take at least a year before they decided to accept bitcoin for their airline tickets. This kind of idea is a good one because we can easily pay our tickets without having any problem because we always have our smartphone with bitcoin wallet in it.

Well there are those who have now accepted bitcoins as a means of payment in purchasing airline tickets. Like the one posted above you:

Here you go:

Enjoy.

And also a Japanese Airline had also accepted Bitcoin as a mode of payment. It already is happening and will continue be adopted more -- not just in Airlines but more in a diversified manner.
Correct.
For a vacation can also use Bitcoin.
Recently the island of Bali has received Bitcoin for tourists who visit there.

There are companies now accepting Bitcoin for plane fairs. Although I did not specifically pay with bitcoin to purchase our air tickets when we relocated to Europe it was thanks to Bitcoin that we were able to afford the tickets to come here otherwise we would have been stuck in Canada with little prospects as I managed to find a job here.

Matters how you're going to be doing this, though I do thing this is a bit dumb depending on the circumstances. Because when it comes to paying for things like this, you're still going to need to give your name and all those sort of things, so it's not like you're getting around anything by paying with bitcoin or something along those lines. It's probably possible too, just not from the company itself and you're going to have to use a middle man for something like this-- which could heed using bitcoin a bit wasteful and such.

Wouldn't know where to go on that, but worth a shot.

I am not sure if there are already airlines that accepts that kind of currency. But I have researched some articles pertaining the airport in Japan that have declared that they will be accepting bitcoins in availing of flights. I am not sure yet if they have implemented but you can search it on google so you can have more details pertaining that matter.

Bitcoin could be used as a legit payment option if your Bitcoin transaction confirms. I suggest that you use a Bitcoin transaction accelerator so you could get your Bitcoin transaction confirmed faster, viabtc is a good tool to use for that.

Cheapair is a very popular website so you might want to visit there first.

This has always been my biggest concern with cryptocurrencies is actually trying to spend them. I really wish there was mass adoption so that I could do something as simple as ring United Airlines and book a seat and pay via BTC directly....that would be heaven!

It seems that such a thing is very difficult to do. For bitcoin payment can only be done to buy goods in certain stores that receive bitcoin. If to pay the plane ticket it is necessary companies that receive bitcoin as a means of payment. And that's not possible because there are still not many of the people using it. Given the fluctuating bitcoin prices tend to and down to make the company will be confused determine the price of the airfare. And may be troubling buyers who will book the plane tickets

The main ones would be Destinia, Btctrip, Cheapair.

Most of the time they can't hope to match the prices I find elsewhere, but I'm usually looking in Europe at crappy airlines.

Just get a Bitcoin debit card and then the entire travel market is available to you. There's no point in giving money away just for the honour of spending Bitcoin directly, and it's getting converted to fiat anyway.
